Star of the Monkey Island video games, telltale had made one episodic Monkey Island game called "Tales of Monkey Island" probably their best work, AND its already completely out, so no waiting for episodes :D

So when I read that episode 2 was out today I thought I would be able to play it on steam today. I bought the $25 season pass and I am alittle frustrated that I can't play episode 2 please someone let me know what I need to do to play this game that I have been waiting for to come out.

Gman Stalks Telltale Employees *cue the best music you have ever heard*

    Thank you, thank you.

We currently have some telltale employees logging onto the website, you know what that means folks. Telltale has opened for the day. I'll report with anymore news as it comes to light.

    got ninja'd ;)

False, I'm going to go with false. You forgot the TM.

    Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate.

I prefer the Sierra Online graphic adventures.. Monkey Island was pretty good, though

    AGREED!
My first telltale game and after playing such a brilliant game I had to buy more games from them. Then this mess with TWD happened…. But that’s another story

The Monkey Island series in general are some of the best games ever created. Curse(Game 3) is the DEFINITIVE MI experience, the first game voiced by Dominic Armato and the absolute PINNACLE of 2D Hand drawn animation. One of the most beautiful and THE funniest adventure game ever made. Oh AND even tho it is beautiful and awesome, it still runs on SCUMMVM, which means you can play it on your tablet or in my case Droid3 phone! There's even TWO difficulty levels, Standard and MEGA MONKEY mode, in which the puzzles are even harder and more convoluted. I still have my boxed copy. Of course, they've recently remade the original two games as well, with slightly better graphics and voicovers from the cast. SoMI(Game one, Secret of) is also hilarious, but Curse is the best. Telltale's newer rendtitions are great as well, and aside from TWD I agree is their best games, but doesn't hold a candle to CoMI.

    Get it NOW

Everything I've been reading suggests a release around 10-12 PST. Then again we are dealing with TTG so it could all be bullshit.

We are now back to Gman Stalks Telltale!

It appears that telltale employee Jake is currently playing the Walking Dead. Odds are this is just how he tests the game so nothing there, but I wanted to point out that he is over 300 hours into the game and has zero achievements :p

What happened there? All I remember was getting my money back in steam games thanks to the TF2 fanboys wanting Max's severed head...

PS I do LOVE the Sierra adventure games too.... especially Quest for Glory and King's Quest(And Laura Bow 2, fully voiced awesomeness), but for a comedy adventure Monkey Island wins every time

As opposed to previous releases... well, after all that stressful waiting, the actual episode is probably not fit to calm you down. :)

What time does 'pissin' or psn, normally update? Or should I just keep checking the forums for jubilous cries of joy as my signal that it's safe to download?

The playstation site is down right now for maintenance. Hopefully this is a good sign.

Someone said they update at 10 am PST, so (presumably) at the end of this hour. That's if I remember my timezones correctly.

Yeah you would think it is a dream job but you don't realize what all it entails.... Especially when you end up having to test Barney or some other game that gets a metascore of -20 for several hundred hours. At least if you get a good game you can tolerate it longer without bringing a flask to work lol But still, even too much of a good thing gets old fast.
