Well... downloaded v2 of TWD101, reinstalled, reloaded, restarted... still no TTG update. Coming soon. I guess I'll play some Max Payne 3 or Sniper Elite V2
Ps3 sucks with every game release, not just this walking dead. We got screwed with Bttf as well when psn got hacked if you recall. Never buying Sony again.
I thought all the TTG pre-orders were given Steam codes? So can't everybody play the Steam version?
I know I'm not counting on the TTG servers this time.
(a) only the pre-orderers were given Steam codes. We must assume that after the game launched, more people have ordered the game and they're not eligible for an additional Steam version. And a lot of people in the Steam code thread asking for codes these days haven't actually preordered...
(b) not everyone wants The Steam on their computers. I for one just don't. Call it personal taste.
(c) I have the feeling that not much MORE can go wrong with the TTG servers than last time, so let's see. I presume we'll swiftly see the end of the PC/Mac waiting here.
I'm not holding my breath with PSN. I'm better off going about my day then waiting for them to update. Won't be surprised if it's not until late tonight or possibly tomorrow.
Sony just makes there updates seem random. Like they won't give any mention of whats going to be released until the last minute...wait, sounds like another company i know.
I'm with Vainamoinen. Steams terms of service and DRM crap is borderline creepy. They can remove access to your games anytime they want, they can scan your entire computer anytime they want and they want to run Steam in the background continuously. Not a good combination. Steam is an enemy of freedom.
Wow? You guys are blaming it on Sony? This is all TellTale and Microsofts mess. The game was FINISHED!
TellTale had to wait from certification and when all of the content would go up from Microsoft on XBL, they said this themselves, Telltale had to wait until Microsoft's downloadable release schedule was finalised; which included things like DawnGuard which of course will cause a bigger splash than this game ever could.
Microsoft dicked around, and dicked around until they were ready and didn't give a damn about PSN, Steam or iOS.
Luckily Steam can update daily.
PSN always updates on a Tuesday, the date had already gone by the time Microsoft finally let TellTale do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if we had to wait till next week Tuesday to get episode 2.
What I can't understand is why does TellTale do business with those people, this is the second game in a row Microsoft have scuttled.

At least there's a reason the PS3 gets screwed constantly - it's notoriously difficult to code for. And by difficult I mean it requires some effort. Porting an Xbox game to the PC and making it workable requires no effort, and most developers & publishers are often still too lazy to do even that much.
Mind you, it's still only 11:12am in Cali where TTG lives, not even noon yet, so we still have a few hours before we get bitching rights imo! I sure wish they'd hurry up though! lol
they said it was going to be out on friday and its friday and its 2:00 down here anyone know when the 2 episode is going to be out today on the psn store

The Steam version is up, the xbox version came out 2 days ago, and we TTG loyal true customers don't have it yet. That's instant bitching rights if you ask me!

Yup, there was a psn update at 12am tuesday morning You May have called it...

Your assumption is wrong I've preordered the game and never did got any steam code, and it make me wish I had bought it on steam, I chose TTG directly because I thought it was better as without steam between TTG should get more of the money for the same value.
But then you get things after while on TTG it just is to make the file available, while steam/psn/XBLA there is validation, so I really don't get why it's always coming late here.

Hi, Vain!!!
Out of curiosity, where do your nick come from?
And no, UBB forums aren't particularly good with Umlauts in user names.
Pretty much. We don't know why we're the last to get it, you'd think the TellTale website would be the first thing updated.
Oh, cool, Finnish mithology!
Ahh, I was curious too.
Guys, enjoy the game. I'm working until much later, but I can't wait to play later and jump into some discussion.
I know I'm not counting on the TTG servers this time.
giggity

What's going on, people? Are you waiting to the rest of your forum fellas?

Come on TTG get the DRM-free version up pronto!
Mind you, it's still only 11:12am in Cali where TTG lives, not even noon yet, so we still have a few hours before we get bitching rights imo! I sure wish they'd hurry up though! lol
I'm noticing that we are getting some more telltale employees logging in.
Wellll, there is not actually a DRM-free version.
Waiting seems like it takes forever. xD
Nobody knows, that's up to Sony now.
Yeah I have the installer on my thumb drive and have installed it on 4 PCs already. That's DRM free to me!
