I was going to upload a picture, but I gave the game to my friend, I'll upload a pic maybe tmw. I bought the game from a store, doesn't even have a name I think, but the company is called SCC-TDS, they do this with all the games, take the original files, put it on a DVDs and sell them, very cheap like a 1$ sometimes less. It's not legal, right? Sorry about my English.

The real guybrush right here. LOL

It's like people don't know how to act like rational human beings anymore. I know this is the Internet and everyone is a tough guy here but give acting mature a shot for a change. Going off on an F word filled rant and making "threats" like a child isn't going to solve anything.

I have minded to myself for the duration of this upsetting, but somewhat understandable delay of a game, that for many, is a very exciting and engaging way to connect with the story of The Walking Dead.

We have waited far too long, with little to no feedback or dialogue from Tell Tale Games and now on the release date, Mac users are still twiddling their thumbs.

I find this to be extremely irritating that this company has botched not only the scheduled release of the game, but now is also ruining our experience of its release. Some of the blame cannot fall on TTG and is on the larger providers with Microsoft, ect. , but this is no excuse.

This company has failed me and many people in delivering a quality EXPERIENCE and as a result, there is NO way that their product will be able to make up for it.:guybrush:

Has anyone had this work on Mac? I'm not very computer savvy, am I missing something? Just says "episode coming soon".

What is "steam"? Is it something every Mac has? (Blonde question, I know).

Do I have to reinstall something or should I just be waiting?
    Thanks!

I love how the banner at the top of this page lists the 2nd episode as being available and has the Mac icon on it. What a joke.

Same problem here, nothing on Mac, but Telltale Games last post on Facebook says:

"The Walking Dead - Episode 2 is now available on Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and PlayStation 3 (North America)!"

Long time leecher, first time poster!! :)

Plenty of us play on a mac, I use a 27 iMac with a 360 controller, its awesome for games like Arkham City and Walking Dead Ep 1 and we can place on max res without any chunk scroll.....

It is a shame that the mac release is delayed, and it is also a shame that I got my hopes up this morning (in my part of the world) when I saw the banner that says Episode 2 is available now for the Mac.

Im hoping they will resolve in the next few hours. Really hoping us mac users don't have to wait over the weekend.

One question though, when I bought BTTF each episode was downloadable from our "You purchases page", this would be handy instead of having to open the game to check every 5 minutes.....why the difference here for essentially the same style of episodical release?

    @ blackvulcan,

Does the 360 controller have to be wired? Or is there some kind of airport key for the wireless ones? I spent $50 on a Macally controller made specifically for the Mac and it does not work for crap.

Is it just me or has episode 2 not been released for the mac yet?...@6:30 Eastern time.

No not yet, but I did just open it and it told me to go the Telltale website to download a new version but there is no new version on the site yet....

As for the controller, no its wireless, just use the Windows wireless 360 adapter, I may have had to install a driver (can't remember, it was a while ago) but it works a treat!!

Why did I bought the season pass  ?

The only thing they did great was the game itself, still got no release date in my country for PS3 and I think that's just rude to the customers.

Never buying again from you sorry, don't want to go trough this more than once.

(which I'm problably going to do with the rest of the episodes.. :p)

Pardon my french, but this is a totally piss poor state of affairs. I am relatively new to TTG (since they release EP1, released that had made some Sam and Max and Monkey Island games, which are pretty awesome), but still I've never seen such a friggin mess when it comes to releasing a bloody game!!
    I'll stop my whinging now.

I bet you now regret that you chose Carley over Doug. Tried to change the batteries in your Mac?

Can you guys play it now?

A suggestion. If you're thinking about having new subscribers to the PC version might I suggest a 'download in the background' option, rather than locking the entire client for the duration. That way people could play episode 1 while downloading 2 and so on.
  • edited June 2012
    Yes, but no.

Once you open the file you get your saved game from Episode 1 or option to start a new game. Im going to have a look and try playing from Episode 1.

In the DLC area it says Episode 2 - Coming Soon.....
  • edited June 2012
Nope, unless I'm missing something, once you choose your previously saved game you can choose, "Continue" or "Rewind" of Episode 1, and on Episode 2 it says "Coming Soon"...no dice

Maybe because they don't fucking have a release date yet? Jesus. I couldn't work in this industry, I'd strangle someone out of frustration with the disgusting ME ME ME mentality that has really reared its ugly head, especially this generation it seems.

WHY Isnt ep2 being released yet for the PS3 (UK)? Why? I see no reasons why it should or could be any different to releasing it PSN in any other countries?

Mods can't really answer this question. Mods are from the community just like you are. :(

Well this is wonderful, ps3 user in Korea who buys through the EU psn, got tired of waiting yesterday, woke up and nothings really changed. There's a monsoon raging outside, and it seems I shall have to make other plans for the weekend.
TTG this has been the 2nd worst consumer experience of my long life. Nothing could surpass 1 year of internet on Virgin Media, but this is getting close.
Just another boring post, from a bored and frustrated customer. Put me down on the growing never again list.

Than why can't they give me a reason WHY? Or why can't they give a simple sorry for not having it yet?

But now it just seems like they don't care

    Anyone downloading it yet?

If so, then the obvious question for TTG is, "Could you tell us why you 'don't have a fucking release date yet'?" It's been released on most platforms now and most regions for PS3. Again a little nod to the consumer would go a long way.

Has any fellow Mac users get it yet?

Is there currently a way to download episode 2 outside of the game? My internet connection is kind of poor and keeps disconnecting while trying to download inside the game and then the whole thing starts back at 1%....I've never gotten past 4 or 5%...I've got that steam key, I suppose I can just go download it there. My saves will work on the steam version correct? I thought I read that somewhere...

  • edited June 2012
Lost the download at 73% and now 68%, not happy
  • edited June 2012
Download keeps stalling. Once at 19%, then 87%, then went down to 59% and is stuck there. PC version.
  • edited June 2012
Has anyone fully downloaded the PC version yet?
