It's now in Steam's hands? Isn't Steam's offices closed now? Tomorrow release date, indeed. **sigh** whatevs. But Telltale spent plenty of time preparing xbox/ps3's release in advance and 1/2 @#$ed the Steam version.
GG
Steam released a game called Tera an hour ago, so it might still come tonight.
Bad example, man. You'll trying to compair a car wreck, something that is actually harmful to one's life,to the delays of a video game, something harmless. This waiting won't kill you... This example just doesn't work. Your argument is invalid.
No shit, I said it wasn't a good example. You're smart.
Dear Telltale, I have one simple question I'm sure you can answer.
HOW CAN I INSTALL BACKWARDS? This is the 4th time the installation has literally stopped and went backwards! I'm at 10%, when it looks like I should be at 50% because of how many times the installation has went backwards! How does that even work?
From experience with the terrible launch of SotSII (a good game now) I know that any thing steam side takes a while. But it does still happen after hours.
Some people will find any way to blame TTG. Even when given evidence that its not them holding it back.
But it is Telltale's fault. They spend weeks preparing for Xbox's/Playstation BS and ridiculous certification proccess. WEEKS. It's the main reason the PC users get the delay. Top it off, Xbox/PS3 gets advanced releases. How do you get an advanced release? You pay the developer's money.
And now, b/c Telltale, who knew Steam's procedures, waited all day to release Episode 3, and now Steam is closed, so it's NOT Telltale's fault?
Whatever. I don't really care, but the truth is the truth.
I expect them to voice complaints! It's totally reasonable! when I heard my platform was getting shafted for a couple days I just snapped my fingers and said "Man gonna have to avoid certain internet threads for a few days!" and moved on, picked up my ds or whatever I had laying around and went on my way.
What is unreasonable is to sign up and make a account on the official forums and type up a essay on why Telltale is the devil for being late, and how THIS IS THE LAST STRAW and whining because something didn't go right right away.
If you're a dude who's a bit miffed, it's fine, if you're handling it like a mature person, i.e just waiting around or talking about it that's fine, but when you're calling a entire company shitlords and scam artist, that isn't alright.
Also don't act like I'm signaling people out, I haven't really focused on Steam at all in any of these posts jeeze.
I'm sorry but but that is a pretty two faced way to put it.
I've had an account here for almost a year. Unless you're using an alt fair enough. But it seems you've grabbed an account just to stick your nose in. What do you expect to see in a release estimated thread. It would either be this or an empty thread.
Where else to look for word on release since TTG are pretty tight on news.
In my opinion I think they are poor on keeping us updated. Fair enough if they want to focus on getting work done but you have to give the community something.
By the way first impressions count. "I'm really, honestly shedding tears to all the entitled Steam children on the forums, please, keep making lawsuits that will never happen, please, keep demanding more refunds because it's not exactly on time right when you want it, and please, keep calling telltale greedy and coming up with bullshit theories that you know are made up on the spot. It's hilarious." The is being sarcastic then the is just generally acting like a two face stuck up kid.
Yea I don't see how Telltale dropping the game off with Steam at the end of the day is Valve's fault when they made sure the PS3 and 360 version met the scheduled updates for their respected services.
Glad everyone else is playing this though. I'd love to join in on the fun but right now I can't even talk with my friends because they've played through this.
Unbelievable. I've spent an hour and a half trying to download this and every single time the game doesn't get past the main screen after I click to continue
What does THAT mean? I checked my steam game and no option for episode 3????
it means it's on TTG download site..not steam...it's also out on Origin...steam may or may not have it tonight...either sit here and George Carlin it up with me...or keep contributing to the retarded shit going on.

Well crap! I do like George Carlin...but I'm gonna Skyrim it tonight I think.
I don't have steam but I downloaded from the telltale site, and it's not out for me. I tried restarting and re downloading and before it said "coming soon" still for ep 3. Now when I try to open the game, I click continue on the main menu, and then the scroll bar at the top just keeps scrolling.. and the connecting/continue button goes away, so im left with a frozen screen. shouldn't it be out by now for everyone except steam if what i'm seeing is right??? ughh

Fucking wonderful. Just read a spoiler on the steam forums. Thanks telltale... keep up the great fucking work. Bunch of dbags... If you're not sure that you'l make a release on time, at least postpone the others so you can release everything simultaneously. This just paves the way for all the sentimental douchebags that get it first to spoil the game for the rest.

They'll do that, I think they said sometime between now and never.

Definitely not buying a season pass again.
No it's not, shut the fuck up.
lies lol
Reported.
Everyone else should do the same.

Just restarted Steam and Quantum Conundrum updated but no Walking Dead updates. So this poster is a liar and thanks for being that person.
On the bright side something updated so there is hope we'll get this today but I'm not really holding my breath at nearly 8PM PST.
It is out on Origin or if you bought the game through the TTG store.
: D
oh no please don't

Mercy!! \(O.O)/
Cold pizza, coffe and Episode 3...
My brain needs a restart.. xS
Me! I'm not even hungry, but come on: pizza.
Well crap! I do like George Carlin...but I'm gonna Skyrim it tonight I think.
excellent call...that game should of had co-op stock...:(
what everyone else said^^^^ release it on steam on time plox
Having co-op stock would kind of defeat the whole "You're the last dragon born" thing the game had going on.
Never understood why everyone expected multiplayer from a series that has never had multiplayer before lol.
You say that now,but next time theres an amazing sell, you'll be all "OMG I LOVE YOU STEAM!!!!!!!!!11111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!"
same thing for me
They haven't had an "amazing" sale since the first Summer Sale.
Didn't play the game did you?...Stormcloak had the same abilities...so..zero points for you...learning is power.
^^ and u rarely see a game on special thats "amazing"
If I recall TWD is going cheap at the moment. £12.59
Although the game is pretty much refreshing various web pages to see when the game is actually out ¬¬
I was just using the word amazing. And that's just a matter of opinion, anyways.
