I'll be mad if it doesn't at least come out tonight though.

If they make us wait until tomorrow, man wtf

    >:O

That's like a pizza delivery service telling you "The pizza will be here at 8 oclock" - then them showing up tomorrow at noon.

    Now I want pizza

Bad example, man. You'll trying to compair a car wreck, something that is actually harmful to one's life,to the delays of a video game, something harmless. This waiting won't kill you... This example just doesn't work. Your argument is invalid.

You don't understand I need it NOW!!!

I am literally DYING from the wait!!

    It is KILLING ME!!!

I AM THE WALKING DEAD!!!! Episode 3

So Telltale went home for the day without making sure their customers were taken care of and their product was probably delivered?

Ok that is rather unprofessional and this is getting ridiculous. Thanks for taking my money, I'll never buy on the PC platform again. Consoles all the way next time. Lesson learned.

    OK STOP. STOP IT.
I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER ENDURING THIS CRAP. I HATE THAT. I FREAKING HATE THAT. I WAS IN A GOOD MOOD BUT NOW I'M NOT ANYMORE. WHY. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO DO THIS? TO US? WE'RE NICE AND ALL, QUITE GENEROUS EVEN, BUT THEY KEEP BRINGING US REASONS OF WHY WE SHOULD HATE THIS GAME. DAMN FREAKING DAMN DAMN DAMN FREAKING DAMN FREAKING FREAKING DAMN IT.

Haha, what? Nope, not talking about TT. ;)

    I know how you feel.

I've been sitting here for 10.5 hours and others have been waiting longer than that.

Edit: Although most of them are probably asleep at this point.

I'm really, honestly shedding tears to all the entitled Steam children on the forums, please, keep making lawsuits that will never happen, please, keep demanding more refunds because it's not exactly on time right when you want it, and please, keep calling telltale greedy and coming up with bullshit theories that you know are made up on the spot. It's hilarious.
    ---

We are entitled. I paid for the game, I want to play said game. Everyone else has said game but US. What if I take offer a meal which you pay for and then serve everyone else in the restaurant first and won't give you yours until after everyone has left? You would be pissed. Same applies here.
Remember when episode 1 released and only steam users could play it? Good times.

    Yeah, I remember.

I pre-ordered the game through Steam and those times were good.

So uh; nothing to say then? Someone proves a bad statement wrong so must be a troll?

    Let's see
    Episode 2
PC/Xbox: Launched on tuesday if I recall. Pretty early too.

PS3: It took them what; till Thursday or Friday in the afternoon, and when it launched no one could play it anyway for the first hour or two?

    Now let's see
    Episode 3
PS3: Got it first yesterday neat

PC/Xbox: Got it today (or getting it in steams case)

TOTALLY GREEDY SELL OUTS WHERE IS IT I WANT IT PAY ATTENTION YOU SELL OUTS!!!!

Grow up; I understand it's frustrating to have to wait longer but threatening to sue telltale and come up with greedy theories that literally make no sense in the slightest is insane and childish.

Ep 2 came out on a Wed for XBL and on Fri for PC/PSN, Ep 3 Tues PSN/XBL and PC late Wed
What are you talking about, PC had to wait then and now, but now use steam users have to wait even longer.

No, they didn't. From a Telltale rep, in a tweet to me:

"Keep checking. It's in all of our partners hands now. Works on Origin and TTG Store for now... Steam very soon, we expect!"

Note the bolded part. The delay is out of the hands of Telltale, Steam is taking its sweet time. Can we please stop dragging Telltale's name in the mud unless we have all of the facts? It would make for a much more efficient conversation.

seems VERY unfair we had to wait for ep2 after psn na and xbox except psn eu...and by 2 days...

so who is to blame here ?
  • edited August 2012
The wait sucks, but it happens sometimes.

No reason for people to be so relentlessly impatient.
  • edited August 2012
No download yet,but the new Achievements have been added since last few days.Kind of a kick in the balls, because they are spoilers in some way.
  • edited August 2012
So any news as to when the game will actually come out?
  • edited August 2012
I hope TT learn from all this mess they've made...

b-b-but steam is perfect it would never do this to us it's all tt's fault look I'm writing this fancy thesis on why they are greedy you know what I bet they have like twenty contracts with orgin and they have been paid to release it their first greedy tt!!!
  • edited August 2012
Steam should give us 40% off anything in Steam store since we have to wait and paid more and the game is on sale for 40% off.

This is the sort of information you think they would update on their main Twitter feed on here on their forums instead of just to one person. If I had the facts then I would go on those but Telltale likes to keep those to themselves unless directly contacted.

Now my question is are they on the phone bugging the hell out of Valve to get Steam updated? It's great that this isn't on Telltale anymore but I'm still in the dark here about how long this is going to take or what the hold up even is really. Again we're nearly an hour and a half over Telltale's own deadline and they haven't officially addressed the situation yet.

It's now in Steam's hands? Isn't Steam's offices closed now? Tomorrow release date, indeed. **sigh** whatevs. But Telltale spent plenty of time preparing xbox/ps3's release in advance and 1/2 @#$ed the Steam version.

The problem is that they should have uploaded the game long ago so it would be ready and ridden of problems on release hour. THAT is TTG's fault.

Anyway, I'm going to bed guys, it was nice suffering with you. Hope you guys in the US or a few European nightwalkers can play the game soon!

He's sitting on it eating remains of Episode 3.. He thought it was HL2 Episode 3(or HL3),but apparently it's TWD Episode 3...

Some people will find any way to blame TTG. Even when given evidence that its not them holding it back.
