I like Lee and his sorrowful tale, but new meat would be interesting, as well. Maybe TTG will give us a choice, in game, to continue on as Lee (Assuming he survives), or another survivor. I'd even like a customizable character to play the role of the protagonist. Hint, hint, TTG!
New zombie models would be nice too. New Walkers, new targets! Bang bang bang...
On my note of customization, hopefully you can model your own character's personality, and have dialogue to match. That, or give us dialogue that matches with different moods of the character, clearing up the lopsidedness of the current dialogue options. I'd gladly pay ten bucks an installment for that (But make the episodes a little longer. :P).
Being able to manipulate the character model would be nice, too. Double hint, hint, TTG.

TTG ruined my impression of a "tailored" game experience. The way I see it, no gaming company has managed to nail any customized game experience genre correctly. Especially after Episode 2, I can see that TTG is no different from the rest of the group.
Hey all, since the walking dead series have been so popular( TT most successful game yet i believe, and my personal GOTY as of yet.)do you guys think there would be a season 2? It would be amazing if there was one.

they already said they will. they announced way back
Stop making Lee "Michael Jackson 2.0": never really seen with women with a fondness of children. It's weird. Let Lee stick his mushroom tip in some sweet sugar walls.
Also, you see what how Mass Effect 2 handled life and death in the transition to 3? Yeah, I think that might be possible. I don't know. I like what you did with Carley's death but some have obviously been very upset so there might be a solution, if you care to pander.
Overall, I like the game, but I'm sure my peers will have much to add and discuss.
Um... add and discuss? >_> All hail Red Panda, and his totally awesome transition ideas into the second series! For a Red panda is merely a Panda, covered in blood... and that would probably freak anyone out that wasn't packing an elephant gun. So... yeah. :P
Disclaimer: My praise is generated by lack of sleep, a hangover and the inability to formulate coherent words, at the moment.
If they're continuing season 2 with Lee's story, (I hope) I see Lee and Clem joining a group of new survivors. Slowly but surely, TT is killing off every character in your group in preparation for the final episode in season 1.
- New characters, new story and new group.
- Give us another perspective of the ZA. Something new and exciting.
- Cameos from various characters from the game and comic book.
- A female protagonist... for a change.
- more urban zombie infested setting.
Since the TWD world is already shown in season 1, you might throw us into the middle of the story, not necessary to start all over from the beginning of the ZA.
Things I do not want to see in season 2:
- Continuation of the story from season 1. It needs conclusion now, not after a year. Besides, I don't really think there so much more to tell in this one. Most of the characters are already gone and if new ones need to be introduced then I would like to see an entirely different story and setting.
I don't think that season 2 will continue the story of Lee because at this moment he is way too undefined.
For example - your Lee wanted to be with Carley, mine wanted to run away with Lilly. It will be a plothole to see my Lee being hostile to Lilly if they ever meet again or starting to mourn Carley's loss.
I don't think they can keep him around for another season. Better start fresh.
I think I want to see what happens in this season before I start offering suggestions for the second.
Yeah, I thought about that also.
But in the end some things can be suggested without the need to see all the episodes, like one member suggested the ability to stop the timer for people that are dyslexic or otherwise have trouble reading.

This is actually all of the elements I would like to see incorporated in season 2. Wow we actually agree on something

That sums up my thoughts completely.
Lee and Clem's story definitely needs completion this season.
I just want 2 things: 1) A gay couple & 2) a female main character as "hero". And I bet for one thing, we will see Lilly back in the next season.
Season 2 doesn't HAVE to take place right after the events of season 2. A couple of years could probably pass by.
If Lee truly dies (I'm guessing he will with the ending of episode 4 in mind). The possibility of playing as a mature and much older Clementine seems highly likely.
I feel that she could probably take the things she have learned from Lee and still use them to survive later on in life. We could probably be introduced with a whole new cast of survivors. And best of all Clem would still be wearing that hat her father gave her.
This has been discussed to death, with people feeling very different about the idea.
I personally love the idea of teenage Clem having to survive without Lee, remembering the things he taught her, etc. It really doesn't seem likely, though, because the comic is ongoing and they can't get ahead of that.
I predict a "happy" ending, and a bad one where Clem dies. Happy is in quotes because I doubt it will actually be happy but maybe bittersweet. Either way I doubt she will be in season 2, dead or alive.
You love following me around on this forum ever since I ripped your love for Kenny apart. He isn't a good man. Move on.
No, it's because it WON'T be Clem. She would be 10 years old at the most. Kirkman's only written about two years in by this point, and since it's HIS franchise, only he gets to decide what his world will be like in the future. Telltale can only set their story as far as Kirkman has written, because they don't know what his world will be like in 5 or 10 or 20 years.
I was thinking when season 2 starts and we probally get a new protaganist that the opening chapter should be a little different.
I was thinking of the protagonist being on a bus with others being brought into some type of tight security base which is being used stop walkers from getting in but secretly experimenting on people in a hidden room or basement. The building would be as big as the school from crawford and the protagonist would have to talk to people and try to plan an escape and deciding who to trust and who to bring along. Maybe have a group but only a few could escape. The experiments would be harsh but they would keep trying to make a cure. They would fail though and the experiments would attack.
it needs more work i know but this is just my thought.
Interesting concept. This would no way have a connection to the first season characters at all?
well if telltale kills the remaining group from the first season then there wouldnt need to be a connection. Im just saying that this would be the opening(probally the first episode) and maybe by episode 3 they meet up the group from season 1,whoever is left alive that is. Guessing for clementine, ben(if saved in episode 4), and christa.
It would be neat as a season 2 protagonist to have molly or christa show up at the compound and then you have an opportunity to recruit her.
Also they should have you be able to bring people into your group or turn them away or actually kick em out if they are a problem (BEN). I want control over my group mostly;) or at least some kinda control over that would be nice i think.
When Episode 5 comes out and we are all happy, how long until season 2 comes out? I'm not stupid, I know it's not going to come out next month, but when WILL it come out, next year maybe?
Yeah, guessing season 2 will come out mid-late 2013. They've got Fables and King's Quest to do before it. Let's also have Sam and Max season 4 too, shall we?
I also agree, Mid/Late 2013 gives Telltale enough time to work on it, but also release the first episode and not make fans wait two years or something.
On the talk of seasons, do you people thing season 2 will be the final season? or they'll make a season 3? or as much as Sam and Max has?
cause aslong as it can stay canon to the comics and isnt being whored off from
I whoudnt mind it one damn bit
We've had enough amputees, would be nice to have a legitimately disabled protag. We've seen how ZA societies 'get rid' of anyone who cant pull their weight, would be nice to be a character who constantly has to worry about forever pulling his/her weight under the discriminitive watch of the group 'leaders'. Could be a story about protags rise to glory.

You know everybody has an opinion....
Where to start? haha

Personally, I'd like the option to choose what sex or maybe switch perspectives in the same story between a man or a woman.
What do you know...

older clem not happening
