...did anyone ever imagine they might make episode 4 a surprise release TODAY?
(Don't get your hopes up. I'm just messing with you guys. There were VERY few surprise releases these last years. They did happen though. I mean, without announcement, PC/Mac version suddenly UP. No kidding.)
I figure they are trying to coincide with TWD coming back on TV which is the 14th. That would be a nice advertising tie-in. Of course, sooner is better.
They've been saying the game will be released very very soon, so I'd expect it by mid October or earlier. 2 weeks maximum seems very very soon enough to me.
i listened to the first 10 seconds thought what a bunch of muppets then skipped to the trailer lol
So did I XD
But later on, I came back just to see the part with Gary Whitta. Tought it was pretty cool, actually, but didn't even bother watching the rest of the video
Very VERY soon = give or take mid november but in all seriousness the trailer doesnt seem to be as enticing as the others imo. I mean I still want to play it after watching it but I feel like the trailer had a very bland storyline going with it. I dont know maybe just me, but we'll see
we see lee get owned by a small thin girl in orange hoodie ?1 and you feel nothing ?
fk me kirby you're hard to please...
?? I think it would have been a lot more interesting if someone else was being attacked because we know lee is not going to die. not hard to please, rather the opposite. however, based off previous trailers I dont think this will hold as entertaining as a story line because it didnt really show anything with the group. On another note, he mentioned that choices will matter more in 4 nd 5 which is what I hoped and expected, so I was pleased to hear that.
I already hate Ben for his part in the bandit thing in EP3, but to see the trailer of him leaving Clem unprotected like that!! I sooo hope we get the option for Lee to kill him or let him be eaten.. I almost dislike him more than Larry!
Ben is actually one of my favorite characters. Hes just a stupid kid, and they could potentially do a lot with his character. Think about how much of an outsider he must feel. He came into the group late and has never exactly been welcomed. He must be a nervous wreck all the time. His intentions are always good but he does not act on them properly. He has a lot of room for growth, but unfortunately I don't see them keeping him alive. It would be cool to see him come back as a zombie though.
As I watch the ep 4 trailer, a part of me thinks the girl in the orange hoodie could be Lily??? Highly doubtful to be Clem's mother but it could be Lily.

So you think since the hero is never in jeopardy because he's the main character and can't die, it's bad writing to ever put him in a dangerous situation? Shit, that'd be the most boring action movie ever.
Hans Gruber: "Mr. McClane! How did you survive all of those explosions?"
John McClane: "I was nowhere near any of them Hans. I was never in danger."
Hans: "I'll shoot you myself - HOLY SHIT, WHERE IS MY GUN. Minions, attack the cowboy!"
Minons: "Nah, we probably shouldn't."
Sorry to launch into such blatant hyperbole, but that's the most ridiculous remedy suggested to avoiding cliches.
Lee could very well die although most likely it would be at the end of episode 5.
Just because they are going to make a second season does not mean that Lee has plot armor (although much like Rick he is more likely to be maimed than killed outright).
Just my prediction, but I think that they end up in the Hospital that Clementine's parents were at, and find out that either the staff were torturing them or doing snuff films, and they find either a video of Clementine's parents, or a video of Clementine's dad, and find out her mum escaped. And the guy on the phone thing was one of the staff
Edit: Actually I watched again and at one point you see a sign saying St. Felicity's Catholic School, with 'Crawford Personell Only' plastered over it. Maybe it got turned into a Hospital or was a place to keep survivors?
Would I be naive to think, that they might already have submitted for certification? Last time TTG said very very soon, was halfway trough the certification process:)

Let's hope so. The trailer looks amazing (although the end of episode 3 preview was quite lackluster).
I'm actually excited to see how accurate the next eps going to be. Landmark and street wise of Savannah. They've already shown The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. I wonder what else is in store for a Savannah native. I'm excited to see!!!
Right now the only thing we can bet on is that it won't be two months again. Hoping from day to day is probably a bit exaggerated.
I need that in slowmotion vain. How can we possibly be sure, that it won't be 2 months this time? The only thing we know at this point is, that it will be released in october. If it is released at late october, it will have been 2 months... Do you know something I don't:)??
As a rule no, I do not possess any inside information at all. I won't say it doesn't happen, but concerning release dates... well, the Telltale people with whom moderators have the honor to confer halfway regularly show the tendency to know zip about release dates themselves.
Again, the community beta test for episode 4 was on September 9th. I'd be thoroughly surprised if they needed a good deal MORE than a month counting from that Sunday, and I'd rather bet on LESS.*
Also, retail release is December 4th. All episodes must be out by then, preventing mob law.
*PSN NA and Microsoft certification processes included; SCEE possibly not, sorry!

Actually, yes.
= Instant Perma-grin
That would be too awesome for words!
I doubt it. She looks much younger than the woman in the episode one family photo. The voices sound different too.
I agree, the whole thing was painful to watch...
The casting director must be family
No release date was a bummer too... anyway, it is nice to see some communication, this is a solid enjoyable game and it deserves exposition
I already have my 3 saves ready for you episode 4, come tomorrow, will ya ?
i hope not because if for telltale 26 days are "very soon" i can just say.. they must be very patient lol
Hopefully next week...
So did I XD

I agree but I can't imagine what the poor guy is going through at only the age of 29(I think),I can forgive the occasional bad joke.

Can't be Lily. She's headed to Woodbury.
Muppets? Where have I heard that before?

This is not the case.
