yeah i remember staying up for ep 3 and it was like a hour and half after the time it was supposed to release if im not mistaken

Yeah I won't bother waiting this time as you can probably imagine it was the early hours of the morning here. Probably about 5:00AM and the chances were I wasn't going to play it anyway till I had sleep.

But with all the new zombie survival games in the works I've been able to keep my mind off episode 4. It came around quite quickly. TellTale seem to be picking their heels up.

What about f*cking iOS? Been nearly 2 freaking months and epidode 3 hasn't even come out for ios yet! So what about epidode 4 for ios? Telltale haven't given any info on iOS release dates. Starting to think rest of the game for ios is delayed. AND IM SO PISSED OFF WITH THESE LONG WAITS!!!

I understand your frustrations as i am too waiting for the IOS release of episode three. All i want to know is why cant telltale give us some information instead of feeding us false hopes like the pax blog which was dated the 26th september saying they will have more info on ios episode 3 in a week and still we hear nothing. Can someone give us ios users some information so we know where we stand i have paid for all 5 episodes and never have i been told about delays or a release schedule. Or do we ipad users have to watch everyone else play episode 5 before we even get a sniff of episode 3

You're absolutely killing my statistics. :D

So now I have to remind TELLTALE that they're never doing midnight releases. ;)

    Sooooo... Telltale store version?!?

People who bought from Telltale Store directly are being treated like... manure. :(
  • edited October 2012
My steam isn't updating… Does anyone know what the release for Europe is (I live in the Netherlands)
  • edited October 2012
I still have the 15-minute-start-logo when I boot up the game on my mac. Thought that would be fixed by now...

Oh, Rip... no, you're not "treated" and not like "manure" either. :(

The game was advertised as releasing today PST during Telltale's business hours. This they will do. Yup, Steam has taken a shortcut by at least 10 hours (which is great for the Steam users). But the fact others get the game a little earlier than expected doesn't mean that you are treated very badly - or that I am, come to speak of it.

Still, I assume that Telltale is very VERY aware of how the Telltale store has somehow ended up with the short end of the stick this time compared to [some!!] consoles and Steam users. I don't see this as intentional, but as I have always liked the TTG store a lot, it does hurt. But it can't be helped now (assuming they're not bringing the Season DVD back as a surprise, which I hope they forgive me for continuously asking for) and I'd rather expect visible countermeasures with Fables.

The former glory of the Telltale store MUST be restored. ;)

The Xbox release should be international, so: later today. Do the xbox users in here have an experience based estimate as to the expected update time (PST... or at least tell us where you live ;) )?

just registered, on xbox live, can download from within the game.

For Xbox gamers the episode is now available to purchase at this link and via the in game menus - http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/The-Walking-Dead-Ep-4-Around-Every-Corner/c13db0e9-393c-4344-97c3-ea4d18ebc309?cid=SLink

Be warned though, Xbox.com has not been updated to reflect the new episode in your game activity. The Walking Dead still reads as 24 achievements for 300 points. If you play the episode now, you will have to recover your gamertag when they do update the website. It took them 8 hours to do this when episode two was released.

Downloaded, and played for about 20 minutes. Now I have to go to school, and await the long day in order to come back and play. As for the achievements, I've only gotten one thus far, but does that mean it won't register it, since the site didn't?

No they will not register. You will have to recover your gamertag and then play it again for the website to register your progress on your actual profile.

Just a little reminder because I just had to unpack the axe (which I *hate*):

You can NOT talk about software piracy in here, in no possible form. This is an official forum, remember?

    Thanks.

And I'm sad to say, there can not be a Telltale Store PC/Mac release while it's 5:30 AM over there. Still, if Steam has the final PC build from Telltale... they at least should not need to work into the afternoon to get this out on their own sales platform.

    Don't.

It will take you two to three hours to complete the episode, so in no case will you be playing deep into the night whether you leave work late or not.

Soooo... you've got the Steam version eh? ;)

Negative -- bought through TT. But honestly, if it's been released on every other US platform already, I can't see Telltale delaying the launch on their own website any later than 9 AM PST.

Worst part is that I accidentally read a spoiler last night, so I'm hoping I still enjoy the episode even though I lost some shock value. The poll numbers in the review thread look very encouraging (except for whoever gave it a 1).

In this case, DON'T x 100. Yeah, I expect the TTG store release to be rather early (during TTGs business hours), but we can never be sure, there's too much uncertainty. And if you leave work early just to wait and wait, you'll get quite irate. No need. Don't do it!

Caught two MAJOR spoilers yet, which is next to nothing considering what I do here. I am amazed at how well the story discussion forum works. There are just a tiny few community members who need to still learn that we have a spoiler forum now. :D

    What is Telltale's business hours?
  • edited October 2012
Why is it that Telltale ALWAYS releases it to the people who bought it straight from them LAST? We get all the same bugs, and we still have to wait...

Today was my day off. :( And it will now be spent playing Madden or WWE'12...

I know that Greg Miller at IGN is going through some shit in his personal life, but I still sorta want to punch him in the face for giving this episode a 7.5/10. Cmon, reviewers.
