I have a "get" button for episode 4 on my PC version right now - but when I click it, all it ever tells me is that my connection is lost.
What about you guys?
Mine is still "Coming Soon" too. I'm actually pretty disappointed in a lack of official response for this. It's 3:10 EST. I was fine with it not dropping at midnight, but we're 15 hours into the release date without a release. That's bothersome and disappointing.
the good news is, today I got a day off at work, but as it is like 21h (local time) the day is way finished... it means I will be able to play tomorrow after work...
anyway... damn... telltale... damn... put your shit togheter for ep5!!!!
This is all awfully strange. Shouldn't the episode be up for TTG store PC version people at the same time?? Are y'all sure you have fully exited the game and restarted it?
TTG needs to return to that shipping method, it worked way better.
The in-game download didn't really work for Law&Order as well, but the episodes weren't as BIG as TWD, so TWD is just far more pain. But I of course agree. Separate direct episode download for Fables via my games page please.

That bug is old, seemes to be a caching issue. AFAIK deleting some file solved that problem, someone in the forum here mentioned that solution.
-edit-
OH, I remember, I think it was the SyncFs folder (where your savegames reside).
If I interpret DjNDB's findings correctly, the game downloads entire packages of data. So package one could be the first 10 percent and would always fall back to that value if the connection was lost while downloading package 2.
...yeah. Was back at about 34%, connection lost, restarting at 10 twice in a row. Good theory, but I'm losing my mind with this. Am I correct to assume that this is not a problem in the Steam version at all?
Third time exiting and going back, now I have the "get" button and the error about the lost connection. So I should be able to start the inching with everyone else soon.
Reminding you guys again... no insults, no piracy... not ever.
Telltale really have not done well with Episode 4's release though, you can't blame people for insults. But if it's against the rules, it's against the rules I guess
Back at 10% almost one hour in, fourth connection reset.
This is going absolutely nowhere. It's late over here... I might not make even the second data package today. 600 mere MB, a pretty fast internet and of COURSE completely stable connection, and 60 MB downloaded in about an hour.
Just verifying my PC version bought from the TT site still says "COMING SOON" for episode 4.
I've tried 3 seperate times restarting the game(1 time with a hard PC reset) and I'm a bit anxious since I'm hearing others who bought the game from TT are downloading.
And here's download reset number number five. See you tomorrow, nothing will be on my PC today...
When I hit on "Download content" the windows takes its time to open. I think they are doing their things but "Coming Soon" still appears for Episode 4.
I think you are lucky for seeing the button to download the episode but I think it's not ready yet.

Count me in as another stuck on "Coming Soon", I've restarted the game several times to no avail. And in the other episodes I had trouble with the downloads repeatedly resetting, but I can't even get to that stage now.
I really wish Telltale hadn't gone with this in-game downloader, it's been nothing but trouble. The only issues I can remember with their past games were from the site being overloaded.
Pff, this is getting crazy! I've been trying to download Episode 4 like 5 times now, and at 40% i get a connection lost error, and the game drops back to 10% when i restart it! It's getting late over here, so i'm trying again tomorrow!

But as my university wi-fi is lame, it'll take time!
"inching" is the word, yes.
Ah, the times when the episodes were standalone downloads. Those were HEAVEN obviously.

I just finished to download it and didn't have any trouble.
Hope it'll run for you guys.
love you telltale...
but *snip*
turning the Pc off
edit: Back at 10 percent, three times in a row. Downloading for 40 minutes now. Episode 3's download was REALLY bad. But not THAT bad.

(I've been around since the release of BttF, but registered a forum account today)
Did the EXACT same thing to me earlier. It just sorts itself out. Just keep reloading twd and it should let you in.
I still havnt even got the 'get' bit yet
Its apparently still coming soon..
