Sam and Max: Hit the Road. And I'm stuck. Again. I refuse to use a walkthrough though. I'm detemined to find the answer by myself. (It's my first playthrough).

Maybe not a walkthrough, but feel free to ask for hints if you want.

    O.K. I really can't figure it out. :p

    Spoilers for Hit the Road:
Let's see. I have discovered that I can use the snow globe in the mini vortex, but there is no stopper for it, so I guess I must find one.
I've found that I can walk through the mirror to the magnets, but apart from switching them on and off they are fairly useless as I can't see what it is they are doing.
I have the telescope working at the giant ball of yarn, but as of yet haven't figured out what it's useful for.
Last, but not least I have recently combined Jesse James' severed hand to the broken golf ball retriever and have discovered I can use the magnet or the Snuckey's cup with it, but can't find what I use them with just yet.
(Hopefully I'm making sense). What area should I be concentrating on?

    Mild hint:
I'd concentrate on the mirror and the magnets, since most of the other questions might be answered -or at least hinted- when you progress from there.
    Medium hint:
    Two things:
Have you noticed the THIRD magnet (it's somehow hard to locate)?
Have you noticed the color of the magnets?
    Advanced hint:
And the color of the doors outside the magnets room?

Thank you! I'll start with the mild hint and work my way through until I get it... now to head back to the game!

EDIT: I hate myself. I only looked at the mild hint,
and went to the magnet room. I never realised you could go further right. There was another switch. Gawd I'm thick.

    Thanks for the help.

Just finished Ben & Dan, Time Gentlemen, Please! And then saw the great news that they are going to make smaller episodes, I can't wait! :)

And what am I going to play now? Well I think I will carry on trying to work out the complex game mechanics in Sacred 2, otherwise I will be killing some aliens in MDK.
Or maybe try out Messiah... So many options. :)

At the moment I'm playing Dead Space. It's the best horror survival game I have played in a long time. I like it so much because it makes me jump on my seat so many times.

Urm, I must not be either, seeing as I just realized Last Time Travel was the Japanese name. :p

But anyway, I just finished Unwound Future (see, got it that time) and it was truly fantastic. These games get more amazing and emotional with each installment.

I've just started Star Fox Adventures. I've played it a few times before, but I really enjoy it, and I lost the save file for it when my GameCube memory card died in the weirdest way I've ever heard of. Basically it could be read from but not saved to, and about half the save files went corrupt. Thankfully, I didn't lose my most precious save: The Wind Waker with all of the figurines collected. I NEVER want to do that again.

Remidns me of a problem I had with my Zelda:Links Awakening DX cartridge years ago. I could save to it, but the moment i turned the Gameboy off, the save file would disappear. The amount of times I've done the first two dunegons of that game is... well, alot!
