Okay, so I'm still working on Chapter 3 and it will still be a while before I get it to where I want to publish it, but I thought I should give you guys the introduction to the chapter for all the support! Keep in mind I still have to edit so this could slightly change.
Knocking on the sisters’ door was, in all honesty, exactly like flipping a coin – at least in his mind – which was why his clammy fist hovered parallel to the locked metal frame. He was uncertain how long he had stood there as morning sun trickled through cracks of the hallway and his knuckles pressed white against peeling yellow paint, but the longer he delayed it, the longer he delayed the inevitable sour turn of the coin. Besides whichever sister opened the door, he would also inevitably wake whichever one was snoring like a buzz saw, sending vibrations under the door through his boots. Hopefully, he would be greeted by the more merciful one.
Rhys inhaled and retreated his closed hand from the door, ready to thrust it forward to flip the coin. The door opened as he did, and his fist made contact with something very different from metal.
“Ow! Wha- Rhys, what the hell?”
“Sasha! I didn’t – shit, I didn’t mean to do that!” Rhys attempted to rub Sasha’s forehead where he had knocked on her skull, but her hand flung his away.
“Shh! Keep it down, Fiona’s still sleeping. What the hell were you doing standing outside the door? You didn’t think I could hear you hyperventilating out here? It’s bad enough I live with Fiona’s snoring.”
Sasha jutted a thumb over her shoulder, inviting Rhys to glance into the room. The bed immediately behind her hosted a lumpy, contorted blanket, barely covering the limbs that twisted in wild directions beneath it. Fiona’s mouth hung wide, not drooling, to her credit, but snarling with every obscene guttural utterance.
Edit: I hate myself. Revising and editing all the chapters because I'm displeased with myself and the lack of detail, and numerous other miscellaneous things.

I will never get over how good all the borderlands soundtracks are, one of the many reasons the games are so memorable.
