Again, they're a CHILD. When I was a child, I was brought up in a homophobic family, luckily ,I broke out of that in my teens. At this point, having some 12 year olds around here could be an i… moremprovement. After the temper tantrums some people were throwing yesterday, I don't have much faith in these forums. Telltale is trying something different. Sure, there's reason for scepticism, but we don't even know what the game will be about yet. People should wait for some actual information before making a judgement. Have an open mind.
Personally, I'm optimistic about Minecraft: Story Mode, and I don't even like Minecraft. This is an opportunity for the writers at Telltale to really go all out. There's not much existing lore in Minecraft, and that's a good thing. It means that Telltale has to come up with something original for a change. Yeah, they could screw it up. But after the brilliant writing I've seen displayed over the past few years, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

You know what's even funnier, I just discovered that there was also going to be a Minecraft movie in 2017! It has nothing to do with Telltale though. But I really can't understand how it is possible to make a story out of a game that doesn't have any.
Yes they can create one but I feel like the spirit of the game doesn't need a story, it's a game about building and crafting nothing more. There are so many other games that have interesting and original stories and lore and that deserve to be recognized but they go for a game that doesn't need a story. I still can't believe it but I'm willing to give it a try anyway, we'll see how it goes.

I can hardly complain considering I have GoT and eventually TWD S3 to look forward to. I can't say I particularly enjoyed TftB, but that's possibly something to look forward to as well. As long as this doesn't actively take away from the quality of those games, I couldn't care less. Perhaps we should all learn to master the ancient art of ignoring things that we do not care about.
