Tomb Raider is currently 75% off for the weekend. The other game and the daily deal are pieces of shit though. GMG has a couple garbage flying games on sale, Gamersgate is pushing Torchlight and Battlefield games while doing whatever and there's a couple new bundles out there with games I don't care about with keys.
Starting a little earlier this year, but whatever. The Steam Autumn (read Black Friday) sale is on now until December 3rd. A nice selection of daily deals every day and flash sales every 8 hours. No community choice deals this time, though. The first round of deals are:
If there's one thing that Dark Matter did right, it's teaching developers who split games into parts to advertise that the game is being released in parts. Broken Age is now available for pre-order, and in big all-caps on the storefront, it says that the game is being released in parts.
Forget LucasArts, NOLF, System Shock and the missing Myst games, Night Dive decrees that edutainment is where it's at. The massive back catalogue of Humongous Entertainment is now available on Steam for 100 bucks.
I love the Humongous entertainment games (a lot of them are fun, even for adults, with some multi-tier type humor that adults and kids get a chuckle at on different levels, and with today's adventures going more and more casual, some of them actually have at least near the same amount of difficulty in puzzles as today's adventure games that are not marketed towards kids).
I purchased the first batch of games when they were on sale (they're releasing them in batches until May, but if you buy the packs you'll get all the games without having to wait). The weird thing about it is, if they continue being on sale at launch, if you buy all 28 games individually when they're on sale, you'll actually end up paying less than the near $100 price that the pack is going for.

Also, the next batch of Humongous Entertainment Titles have been added (Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon, Freddi Fish 2: The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse, Pajama Sam 2: Thunder and Lightning Aren’t so Frightening, Spy Fox 2: Some Assembly Required, Putt-Putt and Pep’s Dog on a Stick, and Freddi Fish and Luther’s Water Worries). But, sadly they don't get a launch sale like the first batch of games. I was going to pick up each batch of games as they were released, but I guess I'll wait for a sale instead before I pick the rest up.

Is it just me, or have the daily deals really declined in quality over the past couple years? I'm not talking about a lack of triple A titles, I just mean that 95% of the games are pretty uninteresting or in that "desperate to make their money back" realm.

It's comparable in scale to a major Steam sale. As is the case with normal Humble Bundles, I believe most-if-not-all purchases include a Steam key you can use as well.

It's a decent deal. Half of them are worth playing.
