This is through normal play; I don't aggressively pursue achievements (except to unlock the milestone weapons).

104 I don't pursue acheivements on purpose, however I went specifically for the cap the intel as a sniper one. I also got the intern one by playing a kickass defensive medic a few days ago.

Couldn't agree more. A Spy who is foiled by a Razorback has either just started playing, or is missing some of their higher brain functions.

Or is attempting the backstab razorback and kill sniper achievement. Also 15 guys for me(most are all spies) i dont even have easy ones like spend $40,000 as a heavy(very easy fi you know how.) I actualy have some of the harder ones. backstab someone who is dominating 3 other people, taunt kill someone(scoped sniper with no razorback) bump into a cloaked enemy spy while you are cloaked, survived 30 seconds while you are on fire while cloaked(that one took some planning by finding a pyro, angering him by killing his friend, cloaking getting set on fire, and then lead a pyro to a sentry nest where he meets his gruesome death.)
EDIT: come to think of it I should also have the headshot a demoman one because i did headshot him and he died(it was a revenge kill for me too) but nothing he died but it didnt say it was a headshot or anything :(

The razorback is a failure of game design, and the two other weapons that can go in that slot are better in every measurable way.

Awww. And here I was hoping to trigger a rant.

The hardest achievement for me was probably Scout's "Moon Shot", because I didn't know exactly how to do it quite right. I got most of my Medic achievements near the beginning of their rounds and by accident, as well as most of my Soldier achievements. I think I could probably get any achievement though. If they're there, they aren't impossible.

It's easy. Get on 2fort and just hit them with the ball. If this is the achievment I'm thinking of.

Then he wouldn't have been foiled. My statement stands. :p

I already have it, it was just the hardest one for me to get. Thanks though.

Oh I read that as you hadn't gotten it yet. If you have troubles with any PM me. I don't mind helping others get them.

    Whoa, I have 103! I didn't realize I had so many!

I've found that I get a lot of achievements entirely by accident, or the planets align just so to make things happen correctly which is required for a lot of the Medic achievements.

Yeah what heavy would waste an ubercharge on boxing moves just so the medic could get an achievement.

I do this pretty often, actually.

I will also convince medics to uber me as a sniper, then I will proceed to melee 3-7 guys to death.

Sniper Melee is unnaturally strong. What do you think of the Tribalman's Shiv?

It's an upgrade, in my opinion.

I have a question that is sort of troubleshooting and may not be appropriate here.

I am having trouble importing a spray. It only seems to accept TGA files, and then it says my source image is the wrong size even after making sure it is one of the acceptable sizes. Did anyone else have this prablem/What can I do to make it realise it is wrong?

Did you import the TGA directly into tf2? Sometimes the TGA alone won't behave.

download VTE edit and start from step seven, that's a surefire way to get a spray working:

    http://www.gamesprays.com/articles/tutorial/create-team-fortress-2-sprays-with-transparency-1/

What are your image dimensions anyway?
  • edited June 2010
Thanks, I'm going to try that out

    heh Crossover FTW,

I made the dimensions 128x128, now to see if this will help
Edit: That didn't work. Crossover didn't like it. Any other ideas?

I just imported a jpg file

I only recently got it, but it's a better version of afterburn. A better version. Of afterburn.

I tried just doing jpeg, Anyone on windows who may be able to help me? Believe it or not, I'm giving up.

Does the ingame import tag not work for everyone? I know it needs to be of certain dimensions though.

I've disabled my sprays, so I wouldn't know. I hated seeing them mar the pretty TF2 landscape, especially the disgusting ones.

    Hooray for the new server!

Oh yeah. We sprang for a new server so everything should be working again. People outside of the office should have better ping, too.

Good, your crazy Hawaii server giving me a ping of 200+ simply for having the audacity to live in the UK was interesting, but hard to play on.

Also I never did find out why I was randomly kicked on the first game when you started up the lunchtime playing again.

I still get a ping Of ~190, probably because I'm in the middle of freaking crapsack rural england.

If the server is full, people will be kicked to make room for [Telltale] folks who want to join. No offense intended!

Could someone with windows please help me convert this into a VTF file please? I tried putting it in the other files but it either said corrupt or wrong size.

Well he did play a ton with the mac release apparently.

I have been playing a lot of medic recently, I can really get in the zone at times, which is always great.

And you know that's perfectly fine and I have no problem with that.

The problem was with the zero response from the steam group, don't you guys check that? :P

Also, Sneakman (a friend of mine and semi-regular player on our TF2 server) has completed the 6th installment of his TF2 Spy Fiction series:

    I liked the dinosaur.
Had some trouble following the story though (mostly the names). I guess it's stupid to start with part 6 :o

Take it from me, start at the beginning. The videos are good but timeline wise they like to jump back and forth.

If I were a fantastic sniper I would use the rifle instead of the bow. The bow is terrible.

And, you wouldn't keep standing in the same place on "king of the hill" maps. It makes it so much easier to kill you. :D
