As far as I can tell, the CD lacks the Song of Storms played in the windmill. This is a travesty.

Wait I lied, I found it. Does anyone have the album artwork?
  • edited July 2011
So I was able to convert the songs into MP3 and get the soundtrack saved on my 3ds. Bad news, its all in Japanese and when I changed the names, they reverted back into Japanesse.
I guess Ill just remember the numbers of the songs I like.
Orchastrated song is 51 and Saria's song is 18:D

About that: if you use iTunes to import the CD, pick the one with the colon ( : ) in the name so you don't have to rename them all.
  • edited July 2011
You might also find this program to be extremely helpful.

I'm a little torn. Either way, I can't afford to pick up the OoT soundtrack on eBay right now, but I'm not sure if I would be better off getting it sooner or later. If I get it sooner, the prices are bound to be way higher while everyone's hyped, but if I get it later, the supply might be a bit scarce, which might mean prices will be high anyway.

Yeah too late for me. But I renamed them and they renamed themselves back to Japanese.
EDIT:Wait I open my SD card, and the songs are in English, but on my 3ds, it reads it in Japanese.
    Uhhh.
EDIT2:Ok there are 2 spots for names, I have to rename it twice for it to take effect then.

    Tomorrow is Thursday?...

Yay for losing track of time!

Mine has yet to arrive. :(

Apparently us Europeans get Mario Picross today.
(Which I really do want! :D)

Nintendo Video is already out, but there are no movies on it yet.

Americans get netflix, and game and watch stuff.

EDIT: Oh I got some videos

    3D card magic trick.

And a video called Oscars Oasis which I'm going to watch now.

I wasnt the worlds biggest fan of Netflix(didnt offer that many downloadable movies that I wanted to see), but I might give it a second try to see if the 3ds version is any better.
  • edited July 2011
The 3DS version is pretty much a direct port of the Wii version with a couple tiny obvious changes.

Also it's been forcing me to hard reboot my 3DS so yay for that.
  • edited July 2011
Yup, lots of people, myself included, can't press the home button in Netflix.
  • edited July 2011
Had same problem, just hard reset the 3ds and it works fine the second time.
    My review for the app.
    Good:
    Sound quaility/resolution is great
The app works minus that one glitch
    Not that hard to use

Bad:Lack of titles(for me) I go to see my favorite shows and movies, and very few are on here.
No star wars, no pokemon, and most importantly NO SPACEBALLS!!!
WHY!(strangly the other mel brooks movies worked).

    so Id say a 7/10.
  • edited July 2011
@Gman The glitch was still there when I hard rebooted. I think it happened to me a total of two or three times. Now it works like a charm, besides The Office mysteriously disappearing from and reappearing in my queue earlier.

That still doesnt make up for the lack of Spaceballs.

You should be more specific in your wishes, or you might end up with a horrible nightmare version of what you wanted

I can watch that, but I would rather watch Spaceballs the movie, cuddled in my Spaceballs the blanket, with my Spaceballs 3ds, and my Spaceballs the flamethrower in case any Spaceballs the Robber comes to steal my Spaceballs the stuff.

    I hate Spaceballs.

Except for Rick Moranis. He's the only thing that can get me through that movie. In fact, it's Mel Brook's only film I really can not stand.

Col Sanders- "Ya see see sir we're at now, now. Everything that's happening now is happening now.

Dark Helment: Go back to then!

    Col Sanders: We missed it.

    Dark Helment: When?

    Col Sanders Just now!

Dark Helment: When will then be now?

    Col Sanders: SOON!

It had a couple of moments, but overall, Spaceballs was incredibly sub-par for a Mel Brooks film. It's the only one of his that I've ever seen once and been satisfied to never see again.

    Hey. We agree again.

I'm gonna be upfront and say that I don't enjoy Spaceballs either, as a whole. There are parts that work as skits or short comedies on their own(the "Merchandising!" bit was pretty brilliant), but I just can't enjoy the film as a whole.

I'm with you there. The film really bugs me, I can't put my finger on it but it drives me up the walls

It tries too hard to be funny, relying on breaking the fourth wall almost every second, completely destroying any funny it could have had. The characters aren't funny, I mean Pizza the Hutt and Barf? Really? ARGH. That's not funny! Lightsaber wangs!? That by itself isn't funny! Mel Brooks as a Jewish Yoda who is spray painted? NOT FUNNYYYYYYYYYYYY. Transforming maid bot in space!? Well, yeah, that was funny. Dark Helmet and his crew are the only funny parts in the whole movie, but my goodness is the heroes crew bland and boring, and so is the comedy.

    BTW-

Megaman fans, the worst case scenario has occured...

Fawful, will you help me kidnap important Capcom people and demand Legends 3 as ransom or something? :(
  • edited July 2011
Go to hell, Capcom. This is the last time I ever buy one of your games or even give a shit about you, you little prick.
  • edited July 2011
Capcom refuses to bring Ace Attorney Investigations outside of Japan.
Capcom doesn't allow the deletion of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D save files.
    Capcom cancels Megaman Legends 3.

    Dammit.

Capcom requires a network connection to play singleplayer PSN games.

Capcom only just BARELY renegs on the worst possible DRM for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, takes time to patch it out as it is breaking the game for literally the majority of its customers.

Someone just left a comment on one of my vids with AM's Hate Speech yelling Capcom just a few seconds ago.

Capcom has been going down hill. But they have MvC and SF series to keep them afloat forever

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate Capcom since I began to live.

Yeah I'm not that angry yet but it is a douchey move. I can understand them being rick-averse but all these fan-dissolving actions are going to bite them in the long term if they don't turn it around soon.

No really. Capcom has realised it's not fans they need (like in old school gaming ways) it's random buyers they need to buy. Random buyers aren't going to buy all these games we want. Random buyers don't care about Bionic Comando, old style RE, MegaMan, or Dark Stalkers.

They realise by charging massive ammounts for costumes and on disc content only people who are going to complain and boycott are a small percent of the now gaming market.

They also realise they have a few titles who are bought by everyone all around. SF, MvC, Monster Hunter, and RE. It doesn't matter if you hate that they charge for a ton of crap in SF it's the most competitive game in fighting games. Infact I have a friend who hates SF but plays it because it has the most competition out there. Same goes for MvC for him.
Monster Hunter is just a huge title in Japan. It's enough to keep them afloat for life. Now they wont be big like they are now, but MH is enough to keep them alive.
RE I'm not sure about but they all tend to sell well. Capcom has guaranteed sellers to make guaranteed ammounts of money. They, like Activision, no longer care about gamers. All they care about is making sure you're buying your games and excessive ammounts of content.

"Capcom aren't jerks. They are just morons!" Ben, "Yahtzee", Croshaw.

As for capcom, not to sure if most of you new this, but they made it so you cant delete your data for Resident Evil:The Mercanaries for the 3ds.
Another little fail I must add.

There is a second Robin Williams Ocarina of Time commercial and it is just as awesome as the first one.
  • edited July 2011
Not especially relevant to the 3DS at this time, but on the "Capcom are jerks" tangent:

Phoenix Wright is going to be in Ultimate MvC3. On the one hand, that's going to be awesome, but on the other hand, it might just be rubbing salt in our North American wounds a la Lucas in SSBB.

And yeah, the Robin Williams commercials are pretty cool, but if you're going to do a Zelda commercial with a guy with a huge grey beard, you should at least take the opportunity to have him in character as somebody from the game. The series is full of huge-bearded gentleman.

Has anyone gone to Nintendo.co.uk/zelda and watched the interview? It's pretty good.

Also, tomorrow I'll probably make Capcom Are Jerks thread and start moving posts around.
