Why would I want to go to Best Buy? Their prices are(ironically) outrageous, their staff don't know anything, they always try to upsell installation services for things as simple as CONSOLE SYSTEM UPDATES, and they conflicted with NewEgg's use of the word "Geek" along with a computer power symbol and the color blue, things they think they own. If I want electronics, I go to Newegg, Tiger Direct, or Fry's for that retail "place that actually exists in physical space and you go there and the stuff you buy is in front of your face" charm.
Funny for me Best Buy here is cheapest for games and movies. Like Batman AA came out here it was discounted down to $50 rather than $60. Also the employees here leave you alone, which is always nice.
Otherwards I do agree that newegg is better place.
One thing that bugs me a lil about Zelda on the 3DS is that the mini quest to get the Sword is marked where to go on the map taking all the fun out of the side quest for new fans.

Trust me, there'll be minimal hand holding not too far away
Plus there's the hint system for when you get desperately stuck, but it's for wimps obv.

Yh Navi is sending me mixed messages one when I'm fishing or watching that fat guy dance to Sarah's song she will bug me to get back to what Im doing. When I'm in a dungeon battling away and searching for keys maps etc she will says shes tired and I should take a break!! Typical woman.

The take a break thing with its social responsibility is just a constant reminder of how easy it is to get absorbed into the game.
Navi'll bug you about your main objective but take your time and fish away. I got me an 8 pounder on my first go! Also the 3D is beautiful, I keep it quite low actually, enough so the game has pop and the world becomes alive. Lax enough that my eyes are comfortable to look at it and the sweet spot is very forgiving.
This is the first truly well crafted game on the 3DS and it's really really good. More of this sort of thing!!

I caught an 8 pounder on my first go as well. I was just teasing about Navi hehe I ignored her in the N64 (unless fighting monsters) and I plan to on this. XD

I had "LISTEN!" tuned out long ago. I never actually thought she was as annoying as people said.
I've found the 3D effect to be mostly annoying so far, but OoT looks stunning at times and I wouldn't turn the 3D off even in boss fights. The motion aiming actually works really well and it's (sometimes) worth moving your head to leave the 3D on. I agree a low setting is best and it works really well in allowing a fair amount of movement.
I'ts left me more optimistic about the system as I want to play 3DS games in 3D. Zelda has proved you can have long sessions of platformy, fighty stuff without constantly dying or getting headaches. And it looks great

Iv gotten headaches from the 3D on low setting sometimes and sometimes I have to turn it off cos I can't get in the right place for the effect. But when I do it is stunning and beautiful. And you havnt lived untill you see King Zora go across the water in stunning fulll 3D!
I found Navi a bit irritating, not because of her voice or anything, but just because, when I was doing long periods of exploring or side-quests, I would just get the same message over and over and over. Just a bit grating. I still found it cool to have that sort of fairy companion character, but I'd prefer if they left her messages for scripted events, and for when I press the Navi button, and not so much nagging at set intervals when I'm doing other things.
I particularly liked the way the "speaking companion" was handled in Minish Cap, where the hat dude would repeat the most recent "here's what's going on" message right when you load up a saved game. That was smooth execution.
Is the soundtrack rerecorded or still the mediocre (but memorable) N64 USF samples?
Still the old tunes, prolly should've rerecorded them, i'm sure they'll cite the dynamic music system as a hurdle, but MI2 SE pulled it off with live recordings for themost part.
Still the Ocarina of Time soundtrack though, and it's still cracking
How do you know if you got the OST? I just registered it and didn't see naything about it.
Then you didn't get it, you get asked for shipping details then a confirmation email for the free soundtrack. Sounds like a bunch of people had problems submitting their details, I must have been lucky

My browser crashed and the dailouge never returned. Emailed support but heard nothing, so much for my dreams of selling it on for an extortionate price down the line.

Actually I'm pretty sure I read that it's redone but made as similar to the original as possible on purpose. Supposedly it's mostly noticeable in the forest and fire temples.
The 3DS gives you loads of heath and safty advise then on the stuff about the street pass it says it's a good idea to carry your 3DS around with you everywhere!
"Due to strong demand and technical issues, we are extending this offer. Members who register the game by midnight, Pacific Time on Monday June 20, 2011 will receive the soundtrack CD."
Ok that is good for those that havent registered yet. GO GO GO

I got it. I e-mailed support and they gave it to me. Took about 3-4 hours for them to respond. For some reason none of my browsers will allow popups from club Nintendo even with their pop up blocker turned off.
So now I feel like ruining some childhoods and finding all the different ways instead of Link going forward 7 years to face Gandondorf and letting 7 years of darkness, and he would still save the world.
1.Just take the forest stone and run, Ganondorft can't do anything to the triforce without it.
2.Destroy the Ocarina of Time, then no one gets the triforce.
3.There is a sage in the temple of time at the time Ganondorf got the triforce, the Sage could have just used the triforce to stop Ganondorf the entire time.
4.Link could have used the Triforce instead of going forward 7 years.
5.Come to think of it, how come Zelda cant convince the King of Ganondorfs plan beforehand, but at the end with the split timeline, she could easily prove him with no proof at all?
6.There are random goddesses hidde all over helping Link by giving him power, can't they attack him?
5.Come to think of it, how come Zelda cant convince the King of Ganondorfs plan beforehand, but at the end with the split timeline, she could easily prove him with no proof at all?
But the thing is though is that she can't convince him before all the chaos due to having no proof, but at the end when Link travels back, she STILL has no proof, just Link's memories which could be false for all the king knows and then he believes him.
I get he may not be bright, but what changed there that made him belive if the second timeline never changed?

When you do time travel you keep or change things like items so maybe Zelda found some way to prove it with somthing from the future or the sages sent Zelda somthing.

Possible, but couldnt they have done that without Link?
Granted most sages didnt know they were sages, but the one sage with the triforce was still a sage at the time. He could have either
A.Used the triforce to stop ganondorf
B.Send the proof without Sending Link 7 years into the future.

He wasnt strong enough on his own The Triforce belongs to Ganondorf Zelda and Link hes just gaurding it (and not a great gaurdian on his own) He might have been forbiden to use its power with out the other sages cos all they where suppost to do is seal evil in a can.
It was in another dimension with people from our one but different.
Ok good enough for me.
Still doesnt make up the fact that Link could have destroyed the OoT so no one gets the triforce, Ganondorf can't conquor hyrule without it despite the fact he killed the Deku Tree, starved the Gorons and angered the Leader Whale thingie of the Zora land, and could easily overpower the guards.
Another problem with the story. The triforce just makes it easier.
I think when you beat Ganon and after it shows Ganondorf in the seal that they sealed up the Ganondorf of the past and that's why theres 2 timelines one where he did take over but was killed by Link and one where he was sealed up and didn't.
Edit:
As for destroying the Oot. Hindsight is a bitch.

Wait until you unlock target smash level 2. THAT is a fun game.
Yeah I've like two more AR games left to use my 3DS coins on, but I'm too busy beating Find Mii a second time.

Please tell me you are joking, but that did bring up another argument.
Since MM most likely takes place a few days after the new timeline, wouldnt we have seen the moon in OoT?
It was in another dimension with people from our one but different.
