Tah-dah!
Personally, I think it looks bland. Unless the back of the box features the image as seen from the other side. That would be cool. But it'll probably just be covered with legal jargon and episode lists and descriptions and logos. Bah.

Maybe its somthing from an episode not seen yet on the back.

Weird framing indeed. But still I'm happy, was waiting for a complete box-set!
The Doctor really shouldn't have let those Daleks get away in Victory, based on that factory o' Daleks.
Is the book canonical? It's important I know before purchasing it.
Oh, also; Peri and the Picson Paradox - so good! Possibly the best Who I've seen/heard in any medium. Just completely brilliant and funny. 10/10. Also has some extremely good music. (PS, there's another 7 minutes of interviews for Subscribers of the CC Range, so it may be worth waiting to subscribe)
Also; Coolsome's link is a spoiler for the audio 'Doctor Who and the Pirates', which has a musical episode. I intend to pick it up eventually, so won't listen until I have.
Oh, and there's a Where's Wally/Waldo/random person?-esque book coming out.
This is a compilation of Where's Wally/Waldo images done for the collectable card-game/magazine set they've been releasing. I grabbed two issues (so I could get the TARDIS card holder ) and very much enjoyed these puzzles, so this'll be a nice book.

Ribs - Of course they're not. Honestly.
Silverwolfpet - TARDIS Blue. Like you even have to ask.
...wait, what is this for?
I like red though...
But there's only one way to find out...
googleFIGHT!
I'm guessing it's for bow ties, or something. If it is, I think there's a pattern behind which bow tie they use. Like red for past episodes, blue for future ones. Or something.
@ribs: Nothing in the whoniverse is strictly canon. There's no official authority on the thing, so everything (could be) seen as canon as everything else.
I suppose it's not a spoiler... so yeah, bow ties!
I'm thinking that, if we use red, people who are used to Kauff may be drawn towards his image unconsciously, thus making Mihai's performance as the 11th doctor less surprising.
...what do you think?
EDIT: I cannot find a proper TARDIS model for 3d studio max (for free). Will you guys hate me if the Tardis looks crappy?

I think you're overthinking it. It's a bow tie, it is cool, all that matters.

Just use a theater organ and a fountain and work something into the plot that both Doctors have simultaneously tried to fix the Chameleon Circuit for some reason.
I think i speak for everyone when I say that we'll burn down your homes. :-p
But seriously don't fret over it. Just do your best. Afterall, we're all just happy you're even doing this!
Tip:If you think it looks hideous just obscure the materialisation behind scenery or something. Just hearing the noise and seeing a blue light. If it needs to be in shot, stick to close-ups.
But yeah we don't mind about how it looks. Have you seen the fx in the older episodes?
*edit*
Sarah jane is back on the 3rd of October. Cool, but sad.
It's actually because of the quantum mechanics of the Two Springs facility, or the logical explanation, this is Doctor Who and continuity isn't relevant, merely telling a good story.
No I mean in the post Time War universe its hard/impossble to cross there own time lines. Look how much thye had to do to get the
Amy's
togeather and There was Baby Rose so she couldn't have gotten there in first place.
The work that the Doctor was doing was to maintain the paradox... the actions of the young Amy would directly prevent the older Amy from existing, so the Tardis had to work hard just to allow that to play out long enough to get young Amy back.
In Father's Day, when Rose runs out to save her father, the previous versions of herself and the Doctor vanish almost instantly... that is the consequence that Eleven is trying to avoid here. Similarly I don't think that grown-up Rose hanging around baby Rose would have any real consequences (outside of the monster-based issues that we see) because Rose didn't do anything to threaten the baby's existence.
Contrast this with Time Crash, where the Tenth Doctor was doing exactly what he remembered seeing his future self doing.... everything was consistent, so there was no paradox there*, in the long run.
*Well, there is a bit of an ontological or pre-destination paradox, but the Doctor Who wibbly-wobbly time stream doesn't seem to mind those in the slightest. They actually seem to be comparatively normal in that universe.
The main guest person of the Christmas Special this year is someone familiar to QI fans! Is it Stephen Fry? Alan Davies? David Mitchell? David Tennant?

I meant the blue box as well. During the Sixth Doctor's period, he managed to get the Chameleon Circuit sorta working for a very short time, which caused the TARDIS to appear as some sort of weird statue thing and a theater organ. You could try for a similar deal and have the TARDIS showing up as a different object of some sort that you can CG into the background.
@ribs And Davey T is nowhere in sight to express his distaste at a harry potter imaginary parasite episode!
Suppsedly the story would have been JK Rowling's imagination coming to life, with the Doctor forced to use magic to fight wizards. Considerin the trouble the BBC got into with coverage of Harry Potter, I suspect there was no way in hell they could film such an episode.

If its not Steven Fry then there is no god!
Well, if he appears than surely John Simms and Peter Davidson must as well?
And Sylvester McCoy!
Fix'd.
Didn't Stephen Fry attempt to write an episode once?
Yes, but it was replaced by the genius that is 'Fear Her'.
JK Rowling was to be in the 2008 Christmas Special as the guest companion, and she's like BFFs with Stephen Fry... so...?

It would be great if it was Steven Fry but I'd be happy with Alan Davies, David Mitchell or Jo Brand.
