The Doctor's name? Doctor Who Song. Alternately, River Who is now River's name.

Also; Coolsome, that person is obviously the Eighth Doctor in drag.

And as usual, my default response: Show me exactly where in the Bible it says this.

Also, can we please stop discussing Paul McGann in drag? The image will haunt my nightmares for a week.

Paul McGann in a nightmare? Don't believe that's possible.

Unfortunately, some viewers really do appear to think like this, and are genuinely convinced that Billie Piper is the protagonist of the forty-eight years of the show despite not being in most of them.

(Anyway, Susan's grandmother is probably dead, so she won't have any objection to raise).

Or maybe...Susan's grandmother is River Song!

...It could happen. Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey, right?

Why would Rose object anyway she has the Meta Crisis Doctor.

In unrelated news, I could of sworn that Thief was one of those weird words that doesn't follow the I before E rule.

Sorry, I didn't see that you said that already for some reason. I blame my very light skimming of the posts before mine. Normally, I'd change my joke to something else, but at this point, it's a little late.

Thanks ^.^ I really need all the feedback I can get, to make this look epic!

So far, nobody commented on the shoes... so I guess it's no big deal that those are red, instead of beige, right? Or is it?

    Also, in this pic:

...I'm not sure I'm doing ok when it comes to Tennant's facial expressions. Any advices?

They were red anyway, weren't they?
But yeah, it looks great to me! My only suggestion is that maybe you could be taller? :p

As for facial expressions, maybe try and be a bit more teethy? I don't really know. I think his expressions involved him grinning wierdly, or with his lips stuck out a bit.

Maybe throw in the odd wide-eyed expression.

But you're fine as you are, I think. I don't think you'll get much closer without plastic surgery! You're already convincing. Just a few tips that may be helpful used sparingly. Heck, they may make your look look far worse!

They were red with the blue suit an white/tanish with the brown suit.

    I really liked his shoes.
  • edited October 2011
You've got the look. It's pretty good as is. So long as you've got roughly the right sort of shoes, most people won't object.
  • edited October 2011
Heh, shows how much I notice...

I didn't even notice Matt Smiths bow tie changed colours until someone pointed it out. ¬_¬
  • edited October 2011
Wow, quick replies! Thanks for the tips! I'll try to practice more in front of a mirror.
Either way, a picture is a picture. I hope I can pull it off with the acting.
The accent will probably be the worst, especially for a trained ear.

So I must grab some tanish shoes... hm...
I really like the red ones. Would it be sacrilege if I kept them? I could easily invent a reason for it in the story. I don't want to start getting comments like "the tribute was pretty good, too bad the shoes ruined everything" :D

    And how am I supposed to get taller ?? o.O I'm 1.75m (5.7 feet). Isn't it enough? :p

I'm really glad you guys like it so far. Thanks for all the help!

Maybe it's just because the last thing I watched with Ten was his Sarah Jane Adventures cameo ep, but I feel like your hair needs to be more sticky-uppy and ridiculous. Or at least try to get it more squished toward the center.

And I think the red shoes are fine. I always think of Ten in the blue suit, I don't have a strong memory of the brown suit. But I don't see any reason not to wear the red shoes. If you have him rushing he could complain that he didn't have time to grab the right shoes or something, it could be funny
  • edited October 2011
Honestly, the shoes don't really matter. I just have been rather obsessed with Ten's shoes from the get go, probably because I have never been able to find Converse in my size. I don't think they even make them my size.

Is it weird that the first thing that I thought of were the tiny, wickedly fast demons in Diablo II that always kill my characters?

That depends, what kind of shoes do you picture the demons wearing?

Generally, in the game, they're barefoot.

    I am so confused so I'm changing the discussion to;

    Companions! Who is your favorite!

Also; TARDIS Sets! Which is your favorite!

Now in regards to my responses above, I'd say (oh god this is a really hard thought I always used to just jokingly say Frobisher because all hail the talking bird but er uh) Steven, I guess. I mean, he's in quite a few classic serials, plus he is a big damn hero in the Dalek's Master Plan by flipping the off switch on the Time Destructor whilst the Doctor and Sara take naps. Or maybe Ian - or maybe Romana II. Or Maybe Evelyn. (This is of course assuming you don't consider the Brig as a companion for some reason.)

TARDIS set is far and away The Seventh/Eighth Doctor 'Gothic' TARDIS. It's so gloomy!
