Apparently, the "Star Trek"/"Doctor Who" comic will be available in the UK because, although IDW are not allowed to sell "Doctor Who comics" in the UK, "Star Trek" is in the name first, so it counts as "Star Trek", and isn't "Doctor Who" at all.

How come the new Daleks are supposed to be superior to the RTD ones yet the colour ones haven't even come close to world domination and the RTD ones regularly had the world in peril.

Well, possibly because (Stone Daleks aside) they haven't come back yet?
Good news, everyone! It's strongly implied in the lastest Big Finish podcast they've gotten the go-ahead to do a new photoshoot with Paul in costume for future releases, and Paul's very up for it! Hooray!

Very much enjoying the EDA season 4. Although i'm a little thrown off by the fact that my sisters friend has the same name as the companion.

Good news indeed. It's nice to see he's not only still interested in performing as the Doctor but physically appearing as the Doctor as well.
I've got high hopes that they'll have him appear in the series proper during the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.
I actually am starting to hope he doesn't appear on the 50th special, as they'll probably regenerate him, and I don't want him to go!
Incidentally, I had an idea the other day that I thought would be awesome for a multi-doctor episode. What if they made had three episodes broadcasting simultaneously (assuming they go for a 9/10/11 special). Each with the first half being from one of the doctors perspectives, before they unite together for a common second half. Each would be airing on one of the BBC channels (One, Two, Three)
For instance, on BBC Three, you'd have 9 and rose/Jack in a mini-episode. They could find something and then suddenly be plucked out of time. Then on Two, at the same time you'd have 10 and Martha in another mini-episode, before being plucked out of time. And so on. Then from that point on, each of the aired episodes would be identical, with all three working together, each with a segment of a something.
And then for later releases/airing/international, it would be an edited version with all three episodes put together for a longer special.
That would be cool, but it's more suited to an online thing, I guess.
Of course, Christopher Eccleston doesn't do sequels and is very dead set on never coming back (thus why he isn't in GI Joe 2 and why he never re-appeared after his four-or-so (but very memorable) stint on Heroes). I'd say it's a certainty all living Doctor Whos aside from Four and Nine would accept if called to task, and Tom could certainly be reasoned with.
There's also a new Dr Who side-scroller coming out in May entitled "The Eternity Clock" and it looks absolutely awful, I'd prefer if they made it as a RPG. Anyway, I vote for Tom Baker anyday. Excellent sense of humour, well-devised plans and a tendency to kick-ass. Well, I guess you could say that about every Doctor but this one has a finesse to kick-ass.

Well, it's actually coming out this month, not in May...
And it looks much better then the record of Doctor Who games, inwhich there has never been a good one. Yes, it'd be great if we got "Doctor Who: Shada City" where all the bad guys return because the Master is up to no good on a city on the Prison Planet and you have to use cunning and intelligence to stop him and his accomplices whilst being aided by some of Doctor Who's accomplices as well. Unfortunately, we'll never get it.
And yes; Tom Baker is a understatedly bad-ass Doctor Who. He snapped a guy's neck, once!
I never understood why they didn't do a tenth/eleventh special yet. The dvd sales alone would skyrocket!
In other news, I want to promote our fan film but I ran out of options. Any ideas? Or maybe you could do it for us on some doctor who forums? We don't wanna spam... But we don't know how to spread the word nicely. Help?
Tweet it at various doctor who related celebrities. That ought to do the trick. Katy manning, colin baker, Moffat, Nicola Bryant (peri), Nicholas Pegg, and mark gatiss have them, so I'm sure one will bite! A list of known celebrity fans..
Maybe even send it into BBC america. They always seem to be posting fan tributes of some kind. Like this awesome Doctor Who/Star wars mash-up (David Tennant and Tom Baker fighting Obi wan and Qui Gon? Yes please!)
Just about every already released Hartnell, and a few Troughtons.
Complete list:
An Unearthly Child
The Daleks
The Edge Of Destruction
The Aztecs
The Sensorites
Planet Of The Giants
The Dalek Invasion of Earth
The Rescue
The Web Planet
The Space Museum
The Chase
The Ark
The Gunfighters
Tomb Of The Cybermen
The Dominators
The Mind Robber

If you drink enough, rolling around in wet cement can seem like a good idea. Doesn't mean it's actually a good idea.
Doesn't mean Matt Smith and Rocky Dennis don't have a vague resemblance, either.
He's also on top gear tonight.
I think it's probably that both of them have faces.

Well, that solves the canonicity issue, then....
It looks cool anyway, although I would hardly cool that trailer "epic".
So, is that Paul McGann's new new costume?!
Also, Death in Blackpool is the best companion departure episode ever.
Well, possibly because (Stone Daleks aside) they haven't come back yet?
There was one in The Wedding of River Song. And it was pwned by The Doctor.
City of the Daleks had them conquering Earth in the 60s. Of course they couldn't see behind them, but still.
When have the daleks not be pwned by the doctor?
Victory of the daleks.
No. The Doctor found a dying Dalek and removed it's eyestalk. Hardly 'pwned'.
I got the impression he killed it. And anyway the taunting alone was pwning it.
The question is... New costume or old?

I've put a post up on the Big finish forums for you.
In other news, I got bored, so created a soul mate for Mr Silent.
Good, as Netflix UK has now added 16 classic stories from 1960s to their Streaming library!
