I just watched The Wedding of River Song the other day (on Netflix), and I just have to say... that ending was FANTASTIC. Wonderful. Brilliant. Fricken awesome.
It still would've been better if after a short beat, Doctor Who went 'Yes.' at the end
Minor thing I'd share with Friar on Steam but he's never online and there may be some kind of moderate interest from the others who frequent this thread: Play has a bunch of recent Big Finish for £4, including the opening of McGann's most recent trilogy and the first Davison Lost Story (which has a superb twist if you don't know it ahead of time). And also Big Finish has some stuff on sale later in the month too.
Edit: If you don't own it/haven't seen it, Best Buy has the revised edition of the TV Movie DVD for 10 dollars this week! It's not a great story, but its a lot of fun and Paul is great on the commentary.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed the Doctor Who TV movie. I purchased this from Best Buy today.
Oh wow...
Do people really get excited over K9? I mean, it's a ...cute(?) character, but that's about it. How deep can one go with character development?
It's not new, they just moved the camera a few steps to the left. Can we ignore these until they actually give us something new rather than just a rehash of what we've already seen?
So, it's not just the television show where the production crew don't get along... (Tom Baker vs whippet-**** writers, Ecclestone vs undisclosed persons, etc)
Why wont Miracle Day come on netflix uk!? I don't want to buy the DVD/Blu Ray.
It might, but I wouldn't put it down as coming soon no matter the case. 6 months is the usual BBC Agreement, I believe, with Netflix, and much more than six months have passed.
Anywho, new companion for Eight was announced, and somehow they convinced the forever camera-shy Paul McGann to take a picture with her (apparently in the Cloister Room):
Edit, accidentally copy/pasted the wrong thing but do not want to fix. Correct image:

I think it's worth noting that the furthest that Netflix UK gets with doctor who is "Planet of the Dead". So... yeah.
Also, yay for the new companion. But what is it with hiring companions from that Titanic serial? Both her and Matt's new one were in it.

Also, the (current) TARDIS Team as kittehs. I DARE you not to find this adorable.
Video of their panel together
Wish I'd gone to collector mania now.
I totally didn't expect that at all.

Hell, I like "Timeflight", "Dimensions in Time" and Jeremy Fitzoliver, and think the whatevers of Androzani is pretty dull all round!
convincing-looking rumour suggests that an Expanded Universe character might be turning up in the television series!

I mean, they might very well choose to recast the character, but the name surely can't be a coincidence!
I wasn't aware the Doctor ever travelled with the Royal Mail Postman.
If you have't seen it, there's the incredibly funny Dimensions in Time with Production Subtitles that someone made for Youtube.

(One wonders whether they'll be able to regather the same cast as last time round, with so much time having passed)
Hopefully this series manages to work in another Alpha Centauri cameo!

There is no canon!
Also:
That is possibly my intent in omitting information.

EDIT - although if you read the comments, all parties have consistently denied the claims.
No. She died a couple of weeks or so ago, but they've only announced it now. The funeral was earlier this week, I believe.
I'v never rented anything in my life..unless you count rent boys.

That makes me a sad panda!
