I'm still waiting until The Sims 3 is reduced in price again, so I can purchase the remaining EPs.

Pretty sure it was on offer during the Summer Sale as well. Not so surprising.

It's 2.5 months old. Either the developer really needs the money or it will be in a bundle soon and they want some more money out of it before they can't get any more for a long time.

Adventures of Shuggy technically speaking is a year old. It was released on XBLA in 2011.
  • edited August 2012
    I know a guy named Shuggy, he's in his 40s. /random.
  • edited August 2012
Oh by the way guys, Shuggy is actually great. It has never gotten the sort of success that I think it deserves.

Well I guess it's because of Neil but seriously: Why? Who? When?
  • edited August 2012
It's basically Lunar Lander meets a modern simulator. Whether it was released to 'cash in' on Neil Armstrong's death or not, I cannot say.

It was released earlier. But it was put on sale for his death. And I don't even think it's to cash in. I think VALVe requested it because they do love science.
Just look at Portal & Half-Life.

Wasn't this one of the summer sales? I guess they're trying to reel in late-bees.
  • edited August 2012
Oh, and thanks to my German friend for pointing out the other Midweek Madness.

    header_586x192.jpg

£7.49 / $9.99 for DEFCON, Eufloria, Gratuitious Space Battles, Revenge of the Titans, Frozen Synapse and the Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There Dan That! Double Pack. If you don't have any of those, it's a great bundle. Not so great if you already own most of it though. :(

Yes it was. Maybe it's on sale for the release of Episode 3?

Let's see if they've finally managed to convert the price properly... YES THEY HAVE. £3.74 / $4.99. Finally.

EDIT: I'm going to be really late tomorrow/today, so bear that in mind. Someone else can do it if they want (and a pre-emptive "thank you" if someone does), but if not, I'll still do it, just a couple of hours later than normal.

Oh. OK, fine. I'll do it all myself then. Whatever.

Didn't see your edit. Sorry. I just finished TWD EP 3. Was a bit occupied.
  • edited August 2012
Nah, it's cool. Don't worry about it.

BTW, not at all your fault, but Steam is very nice and decided to highlight one of your spoilerific screenshots so its the very first thing I ever see... not your fault at all, but I'm still mad.

Actually no, just beat it, and I completely misinterpreted what the image one
It was Katjaa and what looked like a Walker on the train, didn't see what really happened coming

Gotham City Imposters is now F2P. I got it from the summer sale and hadn't played it yet. There's no discernable bonus for those who bought the game.

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuu.........

    What about it?

Try counting the number of Painkiller standalone games that were released in the last 2 years alone and substract the numer of them that were good. What dso you get?
Answer: the number of Painkiller standalone games that were released in the last 2 years

I'm pissed off at it because...
A modern remake of the Classic shooters, Painkiller and Battle Out Of Hell
...how old is the original again? Oh that's right, 2004. And it still looks and plays fine. Ugh.

I'd rather pay 5 if that means I give no money to Revelations 2012.

Also, Penny Arcade 3 and the Breath of Death VII/Cthulhu Saves the World pack are half price for some reason. Get 'em if you don't already have 'em, they're all awesome retro styled bargains.

I think they cut the price for PAX.

Also, an unadvertised, conditional deal. Anyone who has Super Meat Boy, Gish or The Binding of Isaac is entitled to 30% off of The Basement Collection.

What if we own 2 of those games? It'd be crazy since the game is so cheap, but can you get 60% off?
EDIT:Nope, makes sense though, that would bump it down to $1, didn't realise the game was THAT cheap.

I had all 3 and that would bump it down to 40 cents. I would have bought 40 copies for that price.:D

Wow, Time Fcuk is also in that collection? I might consider purchasing it.
  • edited September 2012
Oh and apparantly Gotham City Imposters F2P version is steamworks and not GFWL, AND if you originally bought the game, you get a lot of DLC for free... I hope the servers work, that was the one reason I never played the game.

It's the Boobasaurus Sex game. (may not actually include a Boobasaurus Sex)

Edit: no that game was called "Primal Carnage"
  • edited September 2012
Worth noting that not only is it multiplayer oriented, but it doesn't support 32-Bit operating systems.

So basically, it can fuck right off, along with Black Ops 2 (which won't support WinXP).
  • edited September 2012
I don't know what happened, but the daily deal is now 66% off Half-Life 2.
  • edited September 2012
So it is. Because, y'know, no-one owns that.
