I finally made it to The World that never was and I'm doing Sora's version of it. I liked the intro cutscene of the world with Sora being forced to go through his memories.
Also when it flashes back to when Ansem finds young Xehanort in Destiny Islands. Is Sora in his Kingdom Hearts form or was it meant to be Ventus? I thought the armor when Sora looked at his hand looked a little like Ventus's armor.
Another thing is I really like the song that is playing throughout The World that never ends.
I finished KH Dream Drop Distance. If i rated it, it would probably be an 8/10. Not the best I've played (That would be Kingdom Hearts 2.) But it is in my top 3 KH games and I'm now really excited for KH 3. The hardest boss in my opinion had to be Ansem/the cloaked nightmare. I died twice during these fights and I had Riku at like Level 42 or 43. I died once during the cloaked nightmare fight and during Ansem's phase 2 fight.
You're doing this on purpose, aren't you? You know just how to hurt me.
JUST BECAUSE A GAME DOESN'T HAVE A NUMBER IN THE TITLE, IT ISN'T AUTOMATICALLY UNIMPORTANT, GOD DAMMIT.
I didn't say they were unimportant. I'm talking about how it'll take ten years for the series to have an end, and that's another decade of waiting, if it even ends then.

But KH Dream Drop Distance had a number in it. Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance.
In all fairness I would say all games are important to the series.
Birth by Sleep is needed for introducing Xehanort, the events leading up to Kingdom Hearts. It shows where Kairi first came from and how Sora, Kairi, and Riku have access to the Keyblades.
358/2 Days shows the events of between Chain of Memories and KH 2 and
showed the events of before Roxas was thrown into the virtual Twlight Town and how Riku lost his form and turned into Ansem's form.
re:Coded was needed for clearing up the events of Chain of Memories with the missing memories of Castle Oblivion,
Sora's message to Namine, and Mickey deciding to give Sora and Riku their Mark of Mastery test.
Dream Drop Distance is needed to tell show Sora and Riku become true keyblade masters while Xahanort's plans finally come into place as he reveals key things that was unanswered like
How Roxas,Axel, and Xion all felt feelings throughout the series. It was thought at first that Roxas and Xion had been special cases but it was revealed that in fact Nobodies did regain hearts but Xemmas never told them so their plans would work. We see the members Sora had beaten restored and Axel (or Lea) has become a Keyblade master. Its shown what Organization XIII's plans really were and that they intended for Roxas then Riku then Sora to become Member 13 until Lea had helped save them. Finally we see Ventus attempt to save Sora but only get captured into the darkness so Riku has to save them both and Riku sets off to get Kairi to join the keyblade welders. Most importantly we find out Xahanort and Organization XIII plans to create another Keyblade war so he can recreate the X-Blade which was destroyed in Birth by Sleep.
I didn't say they were unimportant. I'm talking about how it'll take ten years for the series to have an end, and that's another decade of waiting, if it even ends then.
You don't feel any sense of being jerked around at all? Kingdom Hearts always felt to me like a story that was supposed to have a definite end, the way they held off on three for so long to tell so much story. I think that's mainly the reason going on feels off to me. As it is, Kingdom Hearts is one of the most expensive stories to follow in gaming, at this point, isn't it?
The only reason they didn't work on Kingdom Hearts 3 was Final Fantasy Versus XIII XV. To keep the interest in Kingdom Hearts, the other Kingdom Hearts games were made.
Well for people missing out on the spin off stories..We're finally getting the Kingdom Hearts ReMix next month! Which includes I believe..chain of memories and videos from Dream Drop Distance..PLus it's $40 so I'll definitely be picking that up..

Yeah we know. But to fix your post up a bit. Its Re:Chain of Memories which is a PS2 remake of the GBA version and all the cutscenes and new cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days along with the secret reports and the entries of Roxas' diary.

Thanks for doing that. I was gonna write it all out, but ehh..Got lazy..
Theres been a KH 1.5 Hands on post on the Playstation Blog along with a new trailer. It basically shows footage of re:Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days. I liked the Days part of the trailer. The music fitted the trailer nicely.
This is sort of random but I pre-ordered my copy! I was gonna buy one anyways but I wanted one of those books that come with it..(which is probably gonna be available after too..) hmm..maybe I fell for it...Ehhh whatever! It's $40 no worries !
Well after playing some of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, my thoughts are first. This is the best looking HD Collection in my opinion. In other collections It was hard to tell the HD but watching the opening for KH 1 and playing it for a bit looks great. Second 358/2 Days' cutscenes are extremely good to watch as a movie and tells the actually kinda sad tale of Roxas,Axel, and Xion's tale of friendship. I have not tried re:Chain of Memories yet as I'm gonna try beat Kingdom Hearts Final Mix before moving onto re:Chain of Memories.
Well I've beaten KH Final Mix (Which might i add i got the trophies for not using continue and not changing any of Sora,Donald or Goofy's weapons throughout the game. Honestly it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I did Beginner because when i was younger and played the PS2 version, I usually got my ass kicked by Trickmaster in Wonderland but I beat the game and only died like 3 or 4 times. I remember dying once in Monstro (I didn't manage to use cure during the Parasite Cage fight.) once in The Heartless world (The tables turned fast thanks to those powerful heartless) and two other times that I can't remember. Riku-Ansem and The Dragon were not too hard. I even beat Riku-Ansem on my first go then i missed the cutscene after Kairi and Sora reunite so i restarted the check point and fought Riku-Ansem again.
I'm,on Larxene on re:Chain of Memories. My thoughts. First I'm not a big fan of the card system. Its OK when fighting normal enemies but its a huge pain fighting bosses with it. I like to try keep my mind on the actual fight so i can dodge attacks and string some combos together but here I can't. I need to keep an eye on the card the boss is picked and if I don't have a card to card break it then I guess too bad. Larxeneright now is the worst so far. She uses long range attacks mixed with annoying lightning attacks including one that covers the entire stage in lightning.
Another thing is its annoying how Sora,Donald, and Goofy forget everyone in every world they go. I know they are losing their memories as they go along EXCEPT they show twice that they still remember them. They remember everyone in Travence Town but you are probably thinking ''Well of course, its the first world and they wouldn't have lost that many memories yet''. BUT in the opening for Agrabah, They agree to help Aladdin and mention Aladdin by name even though Aladdin doesn't introduce himself (I think, maybe he did and I missed it?)

And it needs to end why?

I know I could never play it all by now.
