Wow, between this and the recent conversation about Minecraft's Notch offering to fund Psychonauts 2, the future is looking pretty bright for longtime Schafer fans.
Does anyone know if we'll still be able to donate when they've reached their goal? If so, will we still reap the benefits? I'd love to be a part of the community, but I've got to wait a few days before I'll be anything more than broke.
A: The extra money will be put back into the game and documentary. This could result in anything from increased VO and music budgets to additional release platforms for the game."
I would assume everything is open and go until the 33 days are up.
/me throws something on the pile, I love these initiatives in games but also in music A nice counterbalance to the concept that everything should be 'free' or 'gratis'.

Yay! Thanks for reading the easy-to-read write-up for me
This is gonna be awesome, a point&click adventure from Tim Schafer.
Finally, after decades of mostly mediocre adventures, misconceptions like direct control, uninspiring soulless pabulum for the brainless. If he also adds some sort of inventory puzzles, just wonderful, supported! Even if he fails, which i don't expect him to, this at least gives some hope and a fuzzy feeling in the belly.

Amazing. And seeing how there are still 33 days left and I'm sure not ALL adventure fans on the world saw this on day one, I wonder how much it will go over the 400k :O

I've backed it, 100 down easy, really happy at how fast this total has grown to! We're doing good.
I wish I had 150000$.
also "Double Fine Adventure" Poster autographed by Tim Schafer, Ron Gilbert, and the rest of the design team,"
Honestly, I'd settle for $35,000.

Oh yes, I'd pay $30 alone for that.
