I don't think anyone can confirm, to be honest. But if TTG said mid-August, it has to be that if they want to maintain any credibility with their customers.
i hate having to guess release dates shouldnt have to guess on anything weve purchased lol but wither way i seem to have enought o keep me busy till its out .
Well for real, i believe next episode will come pretty soon. So let´s try to be calm, it´s always better release quality stuff, than "stuff" only. And for now i can´t say ttg has released any shit on markets.

True that! It would be a huge downfall for Telltale if they cant deliver the episode 3 as promised (mid august). They have already messed up once. If they mess it up again it´s going to get ugly.
It wasnt a mess up per say i wasnt even angry the episode was late i was angry they waited to the last possible moment then said they are late least if they spoke out now saying there is a delay id be fine with that im sure others would too. Its the lack of communication thats annoying.

The communication wouldn´t have been necessary if they had launched the episode in time. But of course if it will be delayed they HAVE to inform us. I cant stand to be left in the dark another month without knowing whats going on.

Well if the intel in this threat is correct, we will get some info from TTG when they submit to Mircosoft and Sony, and then we will know, that the wait is almost over:)

It's really simple. The beginning of August would be the 1st-10th, the Middle would be the 11th-20th and the end would be the 21st until the 31st (give or take a day). So the middle of August should be between the 11th and the 20th give or take a day. No later than the 21st to be considered the middle of August. The 17th of August makes the most sense being a Friday and all. We shall see, my question is when is Episode 4 coming out and 5 and then Season 2? This game is so addictive. Kinda funny that when I first played the game I remember thinking, what the heck is this crap, how do I shoot people and why do the graphics look like this? Now I've played through Episode 1 and 2 about a dozen times trying to get every option to see every variable possible. Can't remember another game I played this much in quit a long time. In July, we let everyone know that we were hard at work on Episode Three – Long Road Ahead, and our aim has been to have it ready towards the middle of August. Some of you may have thought this meant a hard date of August 15th, but we wanted to be as clear as we could to let you know the latest news on the release date. The team has finished play-testing and tuning, and we’re nearing final submission to our partners for certification on digital platforms. As soon as we hear back from our partners on when Episode Three will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network, PC, and Mac, we’re going to break that news to you right here.

GREAT! except nobody cares about the DAMN STATS!!!!!! when is EPISODE 3 GOING TO BE RELEASED?
I might be hoping a lot too much here, but two to three weeks could possibly be too much to reckon with. IIRC, some certification processes in previous Seasons went way faster. Then again, there have never been THAT many platforms to take into account for a targeted (near-) simultaneous release.

Nah, If you split the month up into thirds, you will come to the same conclusion. If TTG meant the 15th or the 16th they would have said so. Logically one must conclude the middle of the month to be a spread. Simply put that would be from the 11th through the 21st (give or take a day). It's retail math at it's finest. And thank you
