i dont care if they said mid-august, im checking PSN every day no matter what. Wouldnt that be a nice surprise, if it came out TONIGHT? or THIS WKND? i'd wet my panties.
save you breath thug
when ep3 is out it will be clear on the forums and other media
just take a chill pill and wait like the rest of us
It's coming mid-August (my guess is sometime between the 10th and 17th). Telltale have revised their 'monthly' release schedule; don't expect to see episode 4 a month after 3 either.
Actually they didn't specify a date, just that their (thats the correct word btw) going to have it done by that time, without indication of the secondary certification it'll need from various consoles. More likely it'll be early September
i dont mean to be bitchy about this but i would really appreciate reading about episode 3 updates on TellTale's own website instead of IGN. Like, even if TTG didn't specify a date and just said Mid-August, i would rather read it on the TTG website. I mean, they know very well that their communication hasn't been the best regarding the release date for Episode 2, so why aren't they trying to improve on this?
I've been a huge fan of TTG and i will still continue to be, i mean they've been hugely responsible for the resurgence in adventure gaming. But ( and i know i'm gonna make myself sound like a broken record here) they have got to work on their PR!!!
Ah well. Haters gonna hate! I don't care if they release it tomorrow or next month - I love this game!
I hear this a lot, like those of us who just want some more information about the release or those of us that are a little concerned with the lack of communication and let down by the long wait when we were promised something different, don't find the game awesome.
Give me a break. You don't love this game any more than we do, we are just frustrated with everything I just stated above.

You're really gonna go there? Fine.
The term "haters gonna hate" is thrown around the internet for the general purpose of having a fun and light way of saying "you can't please everybody". I think this is an apparent truth for people such as yourselves that have a "problem" with how TTG has handled the timely release of this product. Used in this specific manner, I find it hard that your conclusion is therefore that I say that everyone who has a problem with the release schedule "hates" the game.
I'm just saying you're making it too easy for Telltale to regain your trust. If you're already getting nervous right now, two full weeks before mid-August, you'd be far too flabberghastedly relieved when they actually release mid month.
too easy to regain my trust? maybe if they finish out the season strong they'll have won me over, but I'm not holding my breath.
For what it's worth, I tweeted the manager of public relations for telltale (not giving out his twitter account) and he says that they are still targeting mid-august and more info will be released in the "near future".

Well, that's good. Hopefully this will calm SOME people down.

Well, that's good news! I've just spent 2 weeks away from my country (Paris, y'all!), so the wait probably wouldn't be long from here on.
Don't know about that, the last release (at least for the xbox guys) was the just a couple of days before.

But I'll try to Stop bitch
You're both wrong, its 'they're', as in 'they are'.
Usually I would never bother correcting illiterate video gamers on the internet, but if you're going to smugly "correct" someone, you need to be right.
It sounds like the first draft of the episode 4 script is being reviewed, according to Nick Herman's Twitter. Hopefully this means that episode 3 should come out soon.

I've been playing Batman Arkham Asylum and I still have Arkham City to play. Arkham Asylum was pretty awesome, even for non-batman fans, I played the whole thing through twice. It was much more challenging than TWD. Even the puzzles were more challenging and enjoyable.
Heck, it will be a while before I'll be back with this game.......
I also had FEAR to play, but I don't care for it. I played it half way through but it's way too repetitive.

Anyways, episodes 1 and 2 are being given away free to Playstation Plus subscribers next Tuesday. Could be a sign that episode 3 is releasing then.
they won't release a week early ttg ain't that nice.. (don't hurt me ttg devs!)
on time and across all formats yeah they can stick with that..
Jeez. Seamonkeys are hard to understand.

I don't think I have enough alcohol in my house for that...

Or a toke.

If you are doing that, then please call 911 in advance:)

So step off.
My back, because I'm tired of those monkey's being there.

High horsies gonna high horse.
OK, maybe it's because it's almost three in the morning, but I'm confused.
Am I riding the high horse here? Pretty sure I wasn't trying to sound smug. Sometimes emotionally devoid text on a forum can make it seem that way.

ha ha ha i don't think cutting anyones head off is a good idea lol
Source for this? Or is this just speculation for now?
I think next Thursday is their speculation because of Telltale saying they are aiming for a mid-august release.
Next Thursday would be the middle of the month. 31 days in August and Thursday is the 16th.
Buuuut... If you want to take everything said literally then the game should be released mid-day Wednesday. (I doubt it)
I think he's assuming their "ready in mid-august" comment meant the game will be out on August 14th.
That day will be the beginning of a shit storm.
If I were a betting man, I'd bet the game will be out either the last few days of august or the first 2 weeks of September
