I put down wednesday july 27, But then, when we finally get it, the whole episode may already have been destroyed/revealed to us thanks to all the spoilers in the headlines, so it may be pointless.
you think they held back episode 2 that way when episode 5 comes out it will only b a few weeks before the tv show premier. i sure hope so, but so much for wishful thinking.
I'm going with August 29. If I remember correctly, at E3 they said Ep. 3 would come out August (and Ep. 2 coming out late June, which it did). So just to be safe I'm predicting a similar release time for Ep. 2.
I'm hoping they'll stick with "monthly" this time, so july 31st it is
I remember ToMI - they went overtime on one episode I think, but the rest just went from the beginning of the month for the beginning of the season to the end of the month towards the end, keeping within the "monthly" promise, in a way..
We haven't gotten an official saying, but so far it sounds like they wanted it to sync up with consoles.
E3 comments reported by the press pointed in that direction ever so slightly. But I doubt that accounts for a full month. My best bet still is: Underestimated design/programming effort for player choices. Makes this guessing game all the more interesting.
What I really hope is that we just get some news this time around. Not "Hey, we're releasing in 2 days!" ... but like, maybe some progress reports? "Things are looking good. We're aiming for (x date) but we'll keep you informed if something delays us!"
I really wanted to know !!! would be really the BEST if lunch at middle or end of Jully ! too bad they problaly wont ! because Telltale really are making us Wait ! and FAIL of company in that part !
Or it may happen about in five years after TTG goes bust, and the patents/rights run out and some really dedicated hardcore fan is finally finishing it.

YeAh well how is Telltale going bust? They already got your money along with A million plus other people. Let me to ease you crazy people's minds a bit with some logic. The Season 3 of the walking dead comes on in October. Some of the characters from the game will be in season 3. So the game storyline will be complete before the show goes on. They have July for episode 3 August for episode 4 and September for episode 5. Then the TV show comes back on. Very good marketing in my opinion it makes Walking Dead Year round product along with the comic books releasing a new issue.
So calm yourselves people. Got aget hammer and blow shit up. Happy 4th of July. 'Merica.

I figured this was the case a while back. With the game getting as much favorable press as it has, there was no way they were not going to tie it to the release of the new season of the show.
That said, it would have been nice for them to let us know if that was their intention. I think that is why people were upset. Then again, what if they are delayed past the release of the show?

They may be trying to tie it to the release of The Road To Woodbury which features Lilly.
Wait...tie in the release of episode 3 with the novel? I can't see that happening.
No the end of the game. It comes out in October I believe, so if they can finish the game by then Lilly's story can continue in the novel the same month.

Feh....
I think it will be August but I don't decide which day.
Last week for sure.
I hope you are wrong buddy. I voted for late July, trying to be very optimistic:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
I hope I'm wrong too (voted Aug 29) but I don't want to get my hopes up.
I hope too. But I am realistic.
I wish that I'm wrong!
thing is they couldn't release ep3 cos that also would need a certification seperate from ep2..

The game is based on the comics.
