Well this was my first game purchase from TTG and will be my last. I did what research I could find from other episodic releases from them and from what I got, it was released monthy. Oh well lesson learned and I move on. No crying about what you can't change.
Most I would ever do in the future would be to wait until all episodes are released, so I won't have to try and remember what the hell I played the 2 months prior....but unlikely they will make anything as good as TWD again.
-_-' Enough about lack of communication. Back to the original complaint. Simple fact there was no apology. End of.
Some people want compensation, Some want to know what the hell went on, but I and a few others want to just get them to put their hands up and go Sorry. How hard is it to apologise to the thousands they upset?
Amazing game. Just sucks having to wait for august now....not a specific date either as I am sure it will be at the. End of the month no matter what the announcement was.
Is an apology really gonna heal everyones boo boo's?? I mean really? First everyone just wanted communication. Now an apology is needed because of a delayed game? Wow.

I completely agree. Even if TWD game met the intended release dates, it's supposed to be a few hours of gameplay per month. Surely its not as significant an inconvenience as the rage posters make it out to be.
I was pissed when episode 2 got delayed twice (i am a EU gamer) but after playing Episode 2 all was forgiven! They are doing a good job on this game, it's just what i was hoping for! So from now on ASAP will do for me!
Exactly, there was 0 communication, so some communication is an improvement.
Not a hard concept to grasp really.
are you sure you are grasping the concept lol? if you have a county fair for the first time, is it an improvement from the previous year? No it's something new. So you can't improve on something that wasn't there. Not trying to pick a fight or anything. You just make it seem like the guy was crazy for not grasping your concept.

Not a good comparison in my opinion.
And yes it would still be an improvement.
No county fair = bad (unless you really hate the smell of cow "doody")
county fair = good
Bad to good = improvement.
0 dollars in your pocket = bad
10 dollars in your pocket = good
I have my winner - which was Maximuswood - and I've sketched a bit last weekend for his great idea. Might be a few weeks before anything presentable emerges, though. But it'll be there BEFORE EPISODE 3.
divisonten generously picked two winners, but I have no idea who they are (I think The Ripper was among them), what their ideas were or how far div is with her pics. She has a LOT going on in job-related matters right now, so this too might be a while... but she's also far more spontaneous and productive than I am, so who knows?
I just read the explanation from TTG, and it seems like they have read the forum, and that they are trying to meet the demands. To me it does sound like an apology, and I am satisfyed.
I would like the 3th episode to come out a little sooner, but at least we have a consideret estimate from TTG.
One could argue, that this message should have come ealiger, but better late than never. So now is a good time to stop complaining about episode 2 and focus on episode 3.
And let us be honest. Episode 2 was brilliant, so please be excited not angry:)

Ah, but that technically isn't the scenario. We have to remember telltale has had games before Walking Dead. Telltale have had full communication then, followed by it dropping to 0. Meaning that it would be about 100 then 0 then 100, meaning it is an improvement.
TL;DR, don't think about this post at all because I didn't making it .
I am having a difficult time finding an apology in here. I see where they say they are going to strive to "improve" communication, which would point to the fact that they are building on something that was already there. There was NO communication for a very long time, so again, I see NO apology there.
I do however appreciate they are trying to be a little more proactive in communicating.
Oh well, awesome game, just hoping to get a little better heads up this next time around.
Yes they were very communicative in the past but due to the problems that arose during the making of the walking dead they lacked this communication loss. They did apologize and they're working on advancing their communication skills
I think that the EU PS3 should get Episode 3 a week earlier than everyone else as compensation for their mistakes regarding episode 2's poor release.
Nice idea, but I'm not even sure the lag between PSN US and EU is even entirely avoidable with episodic releases such as this. The one month delay without communication was annoying to say the least, the less than four work day gap between PSN US and Europe releases on the contrary is hardly worth mentioning.
If I remember correctly - and I seriously can't find many statistics here - the PSN US/Europe lags were of a completely dimension in former Telltale PlayStation releases, namely Back to the Future and The Devil's Playhouse. The first episode of BTTF was on PSN North America on February 15th, one and a half months after the PC/Mac players had their first episode, and arrived on PSN EU on March 9th, almost four weeks later.
What we saw right here with episode 2 is a definite, undeniable and major improvement towards simultaneous international releases as compared to previous releases. What do you say to that?
hey Vain i don't check out this thread much you going to put the winners pictures when they're done up in here or in their own thread maybe our screenshot meme thread even? change the name to inlcude fanart

We do have a fan art thread already, somewhere deep down. Might even chose this one...

i hope, we get some good news rather soon...
Mid August so far!!

god, that's a long time...
It only a month from now since it is almost mid-July
Yeah... I'm optimistic about this. I'm taking their word on it though - hope they'll pull through and get it done on time.
I hope so too, if not a have other games to play in the time being while I wait.
We do have a fan art thread already, somewhere deep down. Might even chose this one...
Fine with me, but I don't see why they need 2 months in between episodes.
= 6 weeks approx
Telltale can learn how to take care of their wood??? I'm sure they will be all over this when they find out.
I'll just leave this here.

Tally it, Vainamoinen!
