At this point I would guess that Steam has the files, as evidenced by the updating of the achievements. They may be doings some things on their side, such as seeding the files among their P2P infrastructure. Telltale is likely waiting for steam to say "OK, We're ready" so that Telltale can make the announcement, and have the data released at around the same moment.

My best guess would be that that moment should happen within the next minute to the next 3-4 hours. Depending on Valvetime.

Which begs the question, Should there we call this timelags and such TellTaleTime, or T3?

I've heard that the achievements have been up since last night. Not sure if this is true or not but either way they are getting the files today.

Still was hoping for the game to be good to go when I woke up this morning.

    Perhaps a tad too optimistic.

Serious question though , shouldn't Telltale release the episode on PC first ? as i remembered most of the people who payed for was on PC, so why is it that PSN , PS3 and Xbox have got the game and us PC gamers are still waiting ?

Maybe there are people have a PS3 or XBox and buy it a scond time just to be a few hours ahead?

waaaaaaah I already played half game in Civilization 5 on marathon speed... I think I am gonna finish that game before episode 3 starts downloading. I think that I am paranoid because I am checking for an update every 20 minutes :/

the better not be, otherwise steam is in for one heck of a shit storm

i agree if its because of that then i'll be pissed but who in the fault more steam or telltale surly steam needs to pitch the mid week deals to telltale before they put them on steam

I have absolutely no idea how TT or any other game company releases new their products, but I would think that since TT has submitted the game to all platforms and everything has been approved and passed whatever testing, that it then comes down to the individual platforms.

PSN does their thing tuesdsay, hence the tue 28th, Xbox on Wed hence 29th and I have no idea about Steam. I too see the achievments have been updated but im guessing it's out of TT hand's now and is all about Steam releasing it!

Loving the game, but I don't really feel like buying anything from TTG. I'm enjoying the game, I also enjoyed what little i played of monkey island, but this is just silly. Every other game from every other company I've bought that has said "release date X" has been avaliable from that date for me. I honestly don't care where TTG's offices are, and it can't be the only reason because I have friends on xbox and ps3 playing episode 3 right now.

Thank for you a great game TTG and I look forward to the rest of the season (I bought a season pass) but I'll take my business elsewhere, I just don't feel like I'm treated with an ounce of respect.

Obviously you have never waited for a game from Lionhead Studios. (at least back in the day, dont know what they are like now for fable 12 or whatever)

Fallout was an amazing game,Morrowing is good,Skyrim is the most overhyped game ever released.
    Opinions, arent they great?

Wouldn't that be stupid? Giving them extra money because they're making you wait?

Yeah true , i just think it's unfair how the people who bought the season passes for PC have to keep waiting and the others on PSN and Xbox and Ps3 are enjoying it right now , As every hour goes by and it doesn't come up i get less and less positive that it will be released then BAM it will be there haha ,

If you didn't like episodic releases, you should have waited until all 5 episodes were out before purchasing. I don't see how a 10 hour game (once all 5 episodes are released) is a waste of money when each COD release is £45 and the campaign is only about 5 hours.

I played 5 hours so far. I must be slow :(

For me it didn't feel like it had the same scope, or feel of fallout(Not in a game mechanics way, that would be comparing apples to oranges) And in terms of theming it lacked the subtle mixture between dark atmospheric tones, pop culture references, and parody of 50's retro-futurism.

Don't feel too bad. I got stuck on a part that was pretty obvious once I realized the solution at the puzzle with the tanker. As a result, I ended up playing for many hours as well.

When will Steam finally press the button and release the third episode already?? The 29th is almost over here in germany and the Xbox marketplace already has the episode for a few hours.

Why must Steam always be last??

It was stated that it depends on playstyle. If you talk to everyone, fully examine your surroundings etc, it could take longer. Oh and I have 18 hours clocked. I have 2 playthroughs of each episode and started on a 3rd.

its a complete joke anyway, steam can sod off as it is, their customer service is almost as bad as telltales, in fact is probably on the lowest level pissing possible. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE
