The Walking Dead steam sale ends at 4 pm PST. I am assuming that episode 3 will be released shortly after the sale finishes. This is just an assumption. Logically valve is gonna want to make as much money as possible with the release of a new episode and that won't happen with a 40% off sale. I figure 4 pm hits, sale goes off and bam, we get the new episode.

Am I the only one that has noticed that the majority of the people ranting about the release date have less then one hundred posts under their belt, and many of their posts have grammatical and spelling errors(Like many trolls). It may be odd but I think some of the forum members ranting may be under the recommended minimum age of 17(in the US)/16(in the UK/Europe). Just a thought.

A lot of grown-up English Natives do not spell properly on the Internet, and this here also is a very international community with roots in so many non-English speaking countries, it would make your head spin. Also, we have quite a few visually impaired people using speech to text software, and that doesn't always yield the best results automagically.

Your experience must be zero, or so close that I'd need calculus to express it. Devil's Playhouse, BttF, Tales of Monkey Island, Jurassic Park -- all very high-quality games, all released with far fewer missed deadlines, some with none missed.
I don't buy the "oh, they couldn't have anticipated these delays so we shouldn't hold them to their word" excuse that some people are parroting. They've done a ton of episodic multi-platform games. I can think of no other company on earth with more experience building quality episodic games. They don't get to use the ignorance excuse.
Oh, and the choices delaying things? Bull. Compared to the stuff that has to be tracked to make a game work in the first place, a couple of branching story possibilities (that don't seem to have much impact anyway) are trivial problems.
When I bought this in late March, they promised one episode per month. That's what "monthly" means. I thought, "Episode 5 by end of July? Nah. It'll slip. Probably won't finish until late August or early September." I expect a missed deadline here or there. I bought the series expecting a minor delay, maybe two. But here we are at the end of August, and according to Steam, I do not yet have access to episode 3. That, friends, is crap. At this rate, I won't have ep 5 until just after Christmas.
You don't have to hate on TellTale. Agreeing the schedule slippage was probably avoidable and certainly unacceptable doesn't make you a troll. You can be upset about this, and still love their past games, and still be excited about TWD, and still buy some/many/all of their future games. People, stop defending TellTale on this one, please. They messed up big time, and excusing it isn't helping anyone.
