    My bad I meant release 6:00AM :o

Oh. I hope not. If was to put a bet on I would say 10pm in England, which i think will be about 4pm their office time?

matter of the fact is, all 5 episodes shoulda been out by now. If you're going to release a game shouldn't everything be complete. If that was the case it would mean: the monthly releases like they said, or all 5 episodes woulda been released together. And before people start bitching, if AMC did this (making one episode, then making the next in the space between episodes) there would be huge uproar. Telltale's system is stupid and there is no two ways about it

Obviously the entire episode is not done between the episodes, but if everything was already done, then that would kinda destroy the point of episodic releases wouldn't it?

well not really, they can still release it in episodic releases but it would mean there wasn't a huge delay, because it would already be done

    +1

Too true. In fact, I'm surprised that not many people have latched onto this.

This is a video game, not a TV series.

    no shit?

The point is that it's possible for TT to control their own products. They don't have to wait for MS or Sony here. They have full control of their own game and the TT servers. So it should be very easy to release something "in time" (early in the morning).

However, like I said, I don't mind waiting.

I would probably have them release the episodes separate rather then a full release , releasing them separate Gives the excitement and joy of waiting for the next episode because you don't know what will happen in the next episode and you keep on thinking about it , but the bad thing is they didn't stick by their word , it was a episode a month now it's an average of 2 months , personally i can wait but when they say it's the day it's out and you keep waiting and waiting and seeing nothing THAT'S what pisses people off ,

TellTale releases things when they are done to their satisfaction, and their level of quality. They released Episode 1 and the client when it was done, the same with episode two, and the same will be with Episode three. Would you rather have the best product possible, or one that was just pushed through to get it done as soon as possible.

If you want it quickly as possible, I would recommend you buy this car, the engine was manufactured as quickly as possible:

The absolutely appalling thing about this is that they even bring this up in the IGN review. The episodes have an average time of two months between releases.

When I bought the game I thought there was a mutual agreement between Telltale and the consumer that episodes would be released once a month.

If I only knew how wrong I would be.

From my experience: no. No you cannot.
Also the concept of choices really makes the process even longer.

Well since the isn't a confirmed time for release I'm going to assume mid-night in the states. (6:00AM) But I did read on IGN that TTG have not confirmed a release date for Europe. Don't know what to make of that. If they are holding on to Europe release for any reason.

But digital is digital. The only thing making the wait longer is the time zones.

I bet they're just laying around and making excuses not to release the game.

Just for the sake of getting the game sooner I hope you're right.

COME ON TTG WE'RE OVERDUE FOR EPISODE 3

Am I the only one that has noticed that the majority of the people ranting about the release date have less then one hundred posts under their belt, and many of their posts have grammatical and spelling errors(Like many trolls). It may be odd but I think some of the forum members ranting may be under the recommended minimum age of 17(in the US)/16(in the UK/Europe). Just a thought.

I have an idea for new thread: Guess at what time episode 3 releases.
OFC prizes are gonna be the same:
Virtual crown to the winners instead and the undying respect of the community (AND the developers of course).

The Walking Dead steam sale ends at 4 pm PST. I am assuming that episode 3 will be released shortly after the sale finishes. This is just an assumption. Logically valve is gonna want to make as much money as possible with the release of a new episode and that won't happen with a 40% off sale. I figure 4 pm hits, sale goes off and bam, we get the new episode.

    Are you having a laugh?

Its already been released on every system except the PC so its obviously ready... If you think with it being delayed on the PC it might be because PCs are dodgy, then have a think on what system this actual game was developed on.

Pc games are not as hard to make like a console machine. Its the other way around.

It is not actually possible to be any more wrong than you currently are. Should any of you ever need to exemplify what "being wrong" is to, say, your children, or perhaps even to random passersby, you should take a screenshot of this quote and just feel free to print it out and pass it around.

Consoles are standardized. They have one build that doesn't change even the slightest between "versions," with the exception of larger HDDs. Computers are pretty much all different; you've got OS's, HDD models, GPUs, CPus, motherboards, power supplies, sound cards, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Point is, every computer is different, which makes releasing a game on the computer incredibly challenging.

So anyway, why can I see the Episode III achievements on Steam but not get the actual game? Is Valve just fucking with me, now?

The achievements have been up since yesterday. Steam does this with a number of their games. Dungeons of Dreadmor and Civ V both had achievements up before the DLC actually was downloadable.

Ah, all right. I didn't notice them until around 1 AM last night, when people were telling me it was out on the PS3.

Though, sir, you have not dissuaded me from the opinion that Valve is screwing with us all.

Mate, aren't you sick that the exactly same thing happens EVERY SINGLE TIME TT releases an episode, being a moderator and all? Will they ever learn? No communication whatsoever with their customers. In my eyes, it's simple - The game will be out @ 4PM. It's not out due to some unforeseen issues, they post an official message saying - 'We're sorry but due to some technical issues we have a delay with the release'. Not a shred of respect. Seriously. And don't even get me started on the Customer service. Sitting here waiting for almost 6 hours and my day off is nearly over. Again. Same thing again.

I can understand how you could take it that way, but what I meant to imply is that you may be under the age of 17/16 AKA below the age ratings for The Walking Dead game. (more-so 16, because I believe PEGI is now legally enforceable.
