Telltale have joined forces with steam/valve in order to remove any traces of the number 3 in videogame titles. The same fate that has befallen half life 2 episode 3/half life 3 is also happening to the 3rd chapter of the walking dead. It's only going to be released once hell has frozen over.
I'M ONTO YOU TELLTALE, YOU'LL NEVER TAKE THE NUMBER 3 AWAY FROM UUUSSSS
Just seems a bit of a dick move to sit here and mock people with a specific viewpoint on a matter without being willing to hear that viewpoint out, and instead casting about your own misinformed opinions about those people, but I mean hey whatever.
Also, for anybody that was around for the release of the second episode (I bought the season pass right after it was released), how does Steam let me know that the new episode is out? Will it just automatically start updating? Will I even notice a difference? What's the deal with that?
As you stated originally, this isn't the forum for that
If you want to explain, that is fine, do it in private message.

Yes it will auto update like all other titles in Steam
May I ask for an official source for that claim? Does this also apply to hotel floors?
I'm sorry, but my source is currently working on some release issues and will be unavailable until somewhat next century.
As long as I know this does not apply to hotel floors in California, BUT: we just received news, that in hotels in Sioux Falls it is illegal to make love on the floor between the beds! So you better don't mess with the oranges there, too.
6 PM on Eastern Standard... Steam version... still no Episode 3. Does anyone know what Valve is doing? The achievements were loaded more than 12 hours ago.
I saw the achievements loaded last night somewhere between 10pm and 11pm EST. So it's been quite a while.
Wow. Just got home, looked for episode 3, and it's still not here? I'm sorry, I generally haven't sided with the people complaining about the delays, but this does seem to be getting a bit ridiculous. I realize that with the episodic games, Telltale's production schedule is different from pretty much every other major video game developer, but all the same, when I hear a release date of "August 29th," I expect it to be available that morning. Okay, I suppose it's still only around 2:00 on the west coast, but still.
It's also kind of annoying that after weeks of waiting for the game to be certified for consoles, PC users are still the last ones to get it.
"Get back to your hole, PC user. You should be thankful you're getting it at all! I mean sure, we stuck to a genre of game which is sustained entirely by your platform, but now we've got a breakout hit and don't need you any longer. Bethesda, Bioware, Quantic Dream - none of them love you anymore."
That's how I feel every time TellTale releases their latest episode to me last. ME, LAST. After paying on their own freakin' website.
Ok, now I"m getting slightly annoyed with this. It's 3 PM PST and their offices close in 2 hours. I certainly hope they stick to their announcement that it's really coming out today for PC.
That kind of makes me feel bad actually. She's having anxiety attacks from that?
Yes, that's not the funny part however. It's just how utterly bad this piece came out when she was finished; I can't begin to comprehend what was running through their minds when the church received it back.
No, but in all seriousness, I don't really think it's fair to blame her if she sat there in broad daylight and nobody thought to tell her, "Hey, stop desecrating the Jesus painting, lady!"
I think for Telltale's next game I'm going with a console release because at least then I'll know when I can expect the game instead of sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for a release. What is even more frustrating is that I didn't get to buy the episodes, I had to buy the full pass on Steam while so Telltale already has my money. Meanwhile the ones whose money they don't have gets access to the game first.
The Walking Dead Episode 3 for PC/MAC we will be live by 6pm PST today through the TTG Store, Steam, Origin and our other digital partners.
That's 1 am GMT August 30th. Well, there goes a huge chunk of the world TTG, but you don't care about them anyway right? -.- well I guess I'll sleep at 9am this morning.

I think I'll just keep listening to The midnight beast to keep me a high spirits since TWD is pretty depressing.
If you want to explain, that is fine, do it in private message.
Not even that, it's coming out late in the day of its announced release date. It won't be late until 12:01 AM PST.
Done. Thanks for bringing that to our attention!
It's half the length of the string twice

Actually, Vainawhatever did.
Someone asked him if it's coming before midnight in germany. He said "it will surely do, but don't take my word for it".

Colour me skeptical on that one... BUT in Singapore, the incredibly stinky durian fruit is banned in hotels and on public transport:
It looks like a spiky bomb, but it's a fruit.

I get what you are saying(and agree with it as well), but technically speaking, IOS users are getting it last

To me, it resembles this
Did you know that she was commissioned to do a restoration of the Last Supper as well?
Why did you laugh? Her restoration was excellent.
No, but in all seriousness, I don't really think it's fair to blame her if she sat there in broad daylight and nobody thought to tell her, "Hey, stop desecrating the Jesus painting, lady!"
