    The same way that they all post at the same time. Coordinated attacks. And really, they only seem to find each other when one creates new threads. We never seem to get coordinated spam attacks in the middle of an existing thread.

    Well Darth has become a mod...I don't know if this is bad for the spambots or bad for us.

    Yes.

    IIRC, it was more of a puzzlebox' charming "could you unban me if I'm not back in two minutes?" idea. It wasn't... BAD or anything.

    What if someone made a spambot based on coolsome. But then again the fourms would be completely full of spam reference threads :D.

    Who stopped the spambot? Also who are the new mods? I know Darth and Jen are mods now.

    Yup, Darth and Jen are the mods and Jen killed the bot. "Killed" as in literally shredded. We normally like to just put a nail through the bot's heart and keep it as a trophy for later. :o

    One day I'll catch one of these things. I shall mount it on my wall as my first kill and invite small children to stare at it.
