Even though you where joking it will just aggravate people and make them more angry. Myself personally I was a bit offended by it.

For episode 3 being finally online? Oh boy...
Nope. For the lack of communication  I don't give a damn about the delay, it's the lack of communication that bothers me. Is it so hard to go on their blog or facebook page and write that they are sorry for the delay? But no, they are just silent -_-

I must admit to being hugely disappointed. I love the Walking Dead, so this was my first time dealing with TellTale Games, but the demo was good enough that I felt buying the season pass was a sound plan. I figured an episode a month wasn't too long to wait...and if all went well I could grab Sam and Max and Tales of Monkey Island (I loved the originals) and the Wallace and Gromit game (for my kids).

Between not sticking to any kind of reasonable update schedule, a distinct lack of communications and the piss poor response with Europe...yeah. I won't be buying further TellTale products. If I have any problems I know full well customer support will be non-existent. Which is a shame. I like those three franchises.

Maybe I can buy them second hand or something...at least then if it all goes to hell I won't have paid retail.

Still, I find the lack of communication frustrating. I don't want my money back. If needs must, I wouldn't even mind them switching my stuff over to the X-box or Steam, since I'm fortunate enough to have both, and don't object to playing again...although of course there is no chance of that. I just want to play the game. My lodger, who was wise enough to decide that the X-Box version was a safer bet has already played it (and warned me I probably don't want to bother, but such is life) and it's frustrating that just because I bought it on PSN I have to wait two, three, four weeks extra...

I mean, it's late enough already!

I don't know if it's Sony's fault or TellTale's, although I find it difficult to believe that TellTale would submit it late to SCEE, knowing how big a stink it raised for Episode 2. Then again, other companies manage multiple platform releases, so...

Question - was Episode 1 delayed on the EU PSN? And if it wasn't, what can be the possible reason for the delays to two and three? It would be nice of TellTale to explain, but that's not likely to happen...and why I won't be buying three of there released games or any of there future titles.
If you create a US playstation account you can get the episodes as quick as the Americans do and the games will be cheaper for you to buy. I got sick and tired of waiting for EU PSN to update the store so I bought the season pass from the US PSN store and was able to play episode 3 before it was released in the UK. If you do it that way the season pass cost you £12 instead of £16. It plays smoothly without any problems aswell. When episode 4 and 5 come out I can play those episodes before people start loading the game forums and web pages with spoilers, pictures and videos.

    fuck guys im so stupid...

i couldnt wait to play episode 3, but im in europe so my great idea earlier today was this

i bought a us psn card from ebay and they sent me the code by email

i went to the psn store with a fake us account, used the code to get 10dollars in it, downloaded the game, installed it .

but can't play it...and in information (when u press triangle) it says "prohibited copy)

fuck this shit, i wasted 10$ and i still wont play the game ? :(
That's strange I was able to play mine. I bought the season pass for £12.60($19.99) and was able to install episodes 1-3. My episodes work fine and even seem to play smoother than when I played the EU versions of episode 1 and 2. If you buy the US version you should be able to play it on your UK PS3 if your logged in to a US account(PS3 profiles with the smiley face icons). I have 2 accounts on my PS3 start up screen, one for UK and one for US. When I go into my US profile I have a different wallpaper and I get US content and notifications in the whats new section, showing dollars as the currency because my PS3 thinks I reside in the USA.

One reason why you might not have been able to play your episode 3 is if you downloaded your US version and installed it with the EU versions of episode 1 and 2 which you got from the EU PSN store. I deleted my EU versions and downloaded and installed the US season pass so all the episodes are from the same region, USA and I chose to play them in my USA profile.

Question.....did you buy the pass on the EU store then the US store or just the US store? Because if you bought the EU one first how is that being cheaper when you are paying twice for it? lol

And to be honest I am one of the ones that waits but would like it if TTG kept their promises (8 days is not close at all in my eyes and a lot of peoples eyes) but from what I saw on here their was a lot of bugs and glitches for Episode 3 just like Episode 2 when that came out for everywhere but EU and the rest of the PS3 world. So I would rather wait because then I would not get a glitchy version lol

Glad the game is finally out, but having completed it I'ma bit pissed off to find that all this extra time (in QA supposedly) did not get rid of.

    1)Randomly appearing and disappearing characters
2)On the 4th act, talking to clementine and then randomly going under the ground and the game just continuously showing me the ground and trees moving
    3)guitar through the leg
4)people standing when they should be sitting
5)4 different glitches that required restarts.

Good episode, lots of decisions to be made... but by far the most poorly coded one I've played. if this was my first one, I'd have not bothered with a season pass because it's so amateur.

damn this episode was heavy...did not see this coming...decisions decisons.

Although if we think of it there arent many decisions to be made, unlike ttg says, we just see a story unfold with little control over it

    1) This glitch did not happen with me.
    2) This one did but it was after I finished talking to Chuck after Clem said to her she was going to die so had to restart
    3) Never had that one
    4) Had this happen a few times with Kenny twice and Chuck once
    5) Only number 2 required be to restart

Though I did have a disappearing RV when Lee pushed Lily up against it after what she did.

I had 2) just this second. Seriously hacked off here with TT. Make us wait longer then give us a game with game breaking bugs!

I got a glitch. I am at the part in episode 3 where you kill the zombie in the car with the animal crackers and i went to give them to Duck & Kat and Duck disappeared. Kat is holding on to an invisible Duck so it looks like she's holding air.

Quite a few people have been getting the "Invisible Duck" glitch

I gonna bet really money (the price of the episode) that Telltale does not release episode 4 on time in Europe.

And here we go again. TTG's Head of Publishing has told IGN "We are currently committed to Tuesday December 4th, 2012 at retail on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America for the first season of The Walking Dead: The Game including all five episodes. European and other territories for retail release to be confirmed."

So fellow Europeans, don't count on getting the retail version for Christmas this year.
  • edited September 2012
That is because Telltale has to find a publisher that will release the game in other territories for them in the manner that they want. No easy task.

Actually you can due to PS3 best ability no region locking ;)

Yep and I get to keep my money :D So anyone want to hazard a guess when its being released? I say the 17th. But my gut says the 19th.

It's official now - Episode 4 is coming to EU PSN next week, thanks to Jawad Ashraf from EU PS Store Team who posted it on EU PSN blog .
And again no word from TTG and no apologies...
  • edited October 2012
The release date for TWD 4, in Europe, has now been official for at least 6 hours, but no word about it on TTG's blog or twitter. And if I have been doing my math right they have been at work for a couple of hours already. Perhaps TTG need to find a (new?) PR guy?

Wow, judging from what I saw of EU PSN from that link if I ever move to Europe I'm going to be looking to microsoft for my gaming console of choice. They really need to get their act together.

you just need an us store account ;)

now to topic: it's a shame tt seems to think that it's not important to tell us when it will be released. thanks to jawad from the blog for that.

You would think they would at least say sorry to us for this cock up every single month or even sort it out and get it right!!
At least Sony is giving us updates for once but telltale can kiss mine, my partners and anyone we can tell future buisness goodbye. I dont care if they come out with the next big hit or something amazing! I will never buy their games again. Heck So many games came out in the last month that deserve my money and attention then this -_- I only play it once when the new episodes come out because i damn well paid for it. But neither have they shown me respect as a customer for me to buy anymore games and nor is the game that great that i will buy a new installement or play it through again.

It`s just how they do buiessnes i supose. It isnt a very good way, but that`s another matter. I bought the whole season, so i am going to play them all. But the next season i wont be so quick to buy a pass. Rather i will wait and see if they manage to deliver theyre games on time. If they do not i will simply go on with my life, and give my money to someone who upholds theyre sales argument and delivery times!

I know that Sony Europe deserve some of the blame but Telltale are just as blameworthy, this is the third time in a row so they know what the problem is, which seems to be that it takes longer to certify in europe on PSN than the US.

To be fair to everone the answer should have been to hold off the release for another week but of course Telltale didn't want to and left us out. Extremely unfair.
