Lay off of his grammar, he's from Russia obviously, and at least he tries, I understand him just fine. Anyways she IS smart, she understands what Lee did, she understands that killing is necessary in this world, she understands that she got Lee killed, she grows by her mistakes, unlike Ben.

Dude. For someone who learned English as your second language, you're great!
I mean, there are MANY people who grew up with English and have worse grammar than you.

yeah, because at the end of the day, she's still a kid, and you could fool every 9-year-old, that misses her/his parents, like that, she still has some childish traits like her naivety, but for a kid she IS very smart, she is smarter than Ben (allright that's not too hard). Still she is fucking Einstein compared to other kids of her age, like for example Duck, because she is the quiet sort of kid, she sits in her treehouse (imagining stuff, thinking about stuff and so on...), other girls play with dolls, and yell around.

You keep telling yourself that. Just remember why Lee and probably Kenny are dead.

Can you stop being such a prick?

Don't judge Clementine for hoping that she could find her parents alive. She is just nine, after all. You can't expect things for her, that you would expect from Ben or Kenny. She is to nice to really suspect something. Or she was.

How could she have possibly thought her parents were actually alive in that walker infested city? Stop pretending she's the world's smartest 9-year-old.

Everyone makes the mistakes. But I angry with you in this time, Lee died because of her naivete.

Yeah I'm not saying she's as stupid as Ben, but she's an average 9-year-old girl. Not some super genius.

    TV show.
Rick tells her to hide under a log or something and she immediately runs off. They spend multiple episodes trying to find her. When they do she's a walker.

I've been around enough kids to know that Clementine is insanely intelligent. She is naive and not as capable as an adult, but most kids her age would just ball up in a corner and sob for their parents.

I think that she is ready to sacrifice herself for the sake of humanity.

yeah, you either fuck humanity's (so far) only and best chance to end the ZA, or kill a kid that trust you with it's life. I admit I am a little naive with Clem being intelligent, you're right with some points. see, that's the nice thing about discussions. would be kinda boring if everybody would think the same I guess.

Tough call. Remind me, which one gave us Kate Plus 8? Humanity or Clementine?

What happened to Lee and Kenny would suggest differently. And what do you think would be the chances of her living to become an adult? What other long term solution is there? You don't just give up on something because it might not work.

If they flew to an island like i said, the chances are quite well actually. An island would be relatively safe. Kill off the small amount of walkers (if any) located on the island and live in peace away from everything else that is bad in the world. Who knows, maybe they have discovered a cure in a military base on the island.

Now they can use a new vaccine to help the people on the island and not have to live in fear of a zombie heard because there are much fewer if any on the island. If one military base can find a cure so can any other military base. Why sacrifice a 9 year old girl for something that has potential to be remade elsewhere.

Sounds like a good plan if the islands has enough food.

    Kate Plus 8?

I assume he's talking about John and Kate + 8. Very bad tv show that got canceled when the couple divorced.

No, Kate Plus 8 was the very bad show that followed John & Kate Plus 8. Things like that tend to make me lean towards saving Clementine over humanity as a whole. :p

An island that has enough food... Food doesnt have to be packaged in wrappers and sold in stores you know. Living in Wyoming you learn to hunt for food. To gather plants for food. And fish for food.

Finding an island without plants, fish, or animals is even lower statistically speaking than this vaccine actually working. In other words finding an island that has food for people is 99.9999999999% probable.

Now in the future, if the population on the island outgrew the natural resources of the island than I would say 1: we are doing a good job at fixing this horrible mess and 2: we need to look for more islands to expand either life or hunter/gathering on. And when that outgrows its resources we continue to find more and more places to occupy and rebuild the world from the ground up.

That's what I meant. Fruit, plantlife, animals to hunt. It's most likely there, but is there enough for everybody? If so, it's a good course of action.

Actually, serious disease research is pretty rare among military bases. It's not exactly their priority. Ft. Benning, for example (one of the largest military bases in the U.S.) is known as the Home of the Infantry, not the CDC. :p

It's a line of reasoning that doesn't really track either; some cases truly are exceptional or unique. It'd be like saying anybody that studied physics could've come up with the Theory of Relativity simply because Albert Einstein did. Some things when lost simply can't be reproduced, e.g. the contents of various libraries that were destroyed in past centuries.

It's not worth the risk to find out, in any event.

...assuming walkers can't swim... well they probably can't as rotten as their bodies are, that might just work out.
