I got Resident Evil: Revelations on PC. It's okay. I still haven't beat it(I keep hopping game to game), but I enjoyed it so far. A little bland(the bigger personality characters are barely in it) and I wish you would stick to playing as 1 or 2 characters, but other than that, I really had no serious complaints.

I'm certainly not expecting any great shakes from it but the very fact that it (mostly) represents a return to the series survival-horror roots means that I simply have to support it.

'Resident Evil 6' on the other hand, that can quite simply go suck a nut.

At least it wasn't Operation Raccoon City level of shit. I'm sorry, but I just can't hate any other game in a franchise that has something on that level of awfulness. After that, Colonial Marines AI looks damn genius! I've never played with stupider AI.

Anyone thinking of getting Resident Evil: ORC; unless you have 3 friends to always play with, don't. Just fucking don't. It's easier to play Portal 2 Co-op by yourself with 2 controllers... and I'm not even kidding.

I'm working through the next part of my let's play of 'Flight of the Amazon Queen' by taking screengrabs, sorting the relevant from the irrelevant and then reformatting them. Man, why do I always forget just how tedious and downright torturous this damn process is.

I've just got to grind through this until I can get to the relatively fun part; coming up with the jokes.

Ubisoft actually made a really good presentation.

Yeah, Aisha was a great presenter.

I have a list of games I'd like to buy (but am in absolutely no rush to do so), but it's late and I'm tired so I'll post it in the morning. Not as many as you'd think though, I'd estimate 20, 30 at a push.

I was hoping the new Sherlock game would have a trailer at E3.

FMI has a booth at E3. Whether anything new is going to be displayed, I don't know.

Apologies about my insane rant yesterday/early this morning. My team... lost in the NBA playoffs. It's a series but even one loss makes me crazy. I mean basketball is the only thing in life that generates true rage inside of me.
  • edited June 2013
You had a crazy rant? Where was it?
  • edited June 2013
Really. When's the last time you saw someone apologize for an insane rant that you didn't see, then not want to see what it was?

Now I'm going to envision a Youtube video with lots of breaking glass and other intriguing items.

Sony has restored some of my faith in the game industry.

They actually listen to what their customers want, and then try to give it to them.
(Something Microsoft has never seemed to learn)

OK, for those curious, here's my gaming wishlist:

    Playstation 3
    Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
    Bioshock / Bioshock Infinite
    Dead Space 3
    God of War: Ascension
    Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
    The Last of Us
Tomb Raider: Survivor (y'know, the recent one)

    XBox Classic
Blinx II: Masters of Time and Space
    Conker: Live and Reloaded
    Genma Onimusha
    Loons: The Fight for Fame
Maximum Chase (was this US only?)
    Nightcaster: Equinox
    Otogi: Myth of Demons
    Panzer Dragoon Orta
    Silent Scope Complete
    Superman: The Man of Steel
The Nightmare Before Christmas (which doesn't want to work properly on my PS2)

    XBox 360
Army of Two: The 40th Day / The Devil's Cartel
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (no, that's not a mistake - I want it on both consoles)
    Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
    Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
    Gears of War: Judgement
    Halo Wars / Halo IV
    Just Cause 2
    Lost Planet 3
Prey 2 (if it ever comes out)

As a Nintendo fanboy, it's almost time for the only conference that matters.

    Sony won.
  • edited June 2013
    Sony won.

    Yes they have. And Ubisoft.

I guess the Nintendo consoles stay the only ones I'd want right now though. But not for the new stuff. I wanna play all the NES & Gameboy games in the shop.

Have spent the evening applying for a new driving licence (a provisional one anyway) as it will be useful as a easy to carry ID source when I'm living in London but having trouble remembering what address the DVLA have on file for me as I lost my first provisional licence over 12 years ago. Another snag is that it will cost me £20 and when I only have £30.81 to last me a week with bills to pay it'll have to wait a bit longer.

It'll give me more time to remember what address the old licence had. I know I was going to change it, and had already filled out the appropriate section but I never posted it. And now it's all photocards anyway, I had a good old fashion paper one. Just remembered that that is why I never sent off for the change of address as it would also mean changing to a photocard which would have cost money and necessitated getting passport photos taken. 19 year old me couldn't be bothered and now 31 year old me is paying the price.

Anyway, this is boring. I think I'll play a bit of Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call (catching up on some DS games I've not yet played, but running out - may have to consider getting a 3DS soon) while drinking a can of Kopparberg strawberry and lime cider. Go me.

I'd be attractive... and that scares me a little. Not being hot, but my confidence that I'd make a good woman physically.

Now I wonder if there's, like some way of digitally reconstructing an image of yourself to see what you'd look like genderswapped.

I probably wouldn't look much different! XD
(It would be like the ol' gender parallel gag you see in cartoons and that)
