I've been wondering what the difference is between "a massive crush" and being in love.

    Probably not alot.
(I'd say that massive crush --> Love or that love is crush confirmed. But then again, what would I know about love? XD)

Sky News is far worse. They've just spent an hour covering the Changing of The guards at Buckingham Palace. An event that happens EVERY DAY. Not even remotely newsworthy.

Just be glad they didn't change it to the Changing of the Diaper every four hours.

The alternative is to watch 6 solid hours of The View.

    Pick your poison.

We don't advocate cruel and unusual punishment. Watch Batman: Mask of the Phantasm instead.

Then perhaps the entire collection of Uwe Boll films is a more fitting punishment.

I still say we make him watch The View. The early stuff too, before Rosie or Whoopie were ever there.

I'm implying that she's someone you'd recognise, which would make the show more interesting - albeit minutely.

I'm at the point where I hate video games and movies so much I can't even express it. I can't like anything without someone talking about how stupid it is and how much it sucks everywhere, and I can't criticize anything without people telling me how wrong I am and jumping down my throat about it. And whenever I criticize something, all I can do is get angry and scream about it because I can't handle hearing about it anymore.

I'm done. I don't want an opinion. I don't want to discuss things. I don't care. Fuck off.

No one here jumps down your throat about your opinions.

...except maybe Dashing. and der_ketzer. and coolsome. :D

Joking aside, everyone has their opinions, but I don't see why some people being more opinionated and/or vocal about theirs means that they're personally telling you to go jump in a lake. Sheesh.

Who cares what other people think. If I post something and get one affirmation, I feel pretty damn good about it. If I don't, whatever.

There's very few movies or games that I don't see a place for at all, but that is a far cry from them just not interesting me. I know people who are obsessed with power rangers and COD. Personally, they've never interested me but seeing how some people can go on and on about them, I'd have to admit that they have a place in this world. They make people happy.

I'll also admit that I have a very bitter attitude towards CGI and it's overtake of modern effects, but aside from that, not much else will get a very emotional, bias response out of me.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/sharemenot/

Also, for Adblock Plus, there is:
    http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/banish-social-network-buttons-adblock/
which has links to two ad block lists regarding social network buttons/widgets

    and this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/elemhidehelper/
Adblock Element Hiding Helper for easily blocking specific elements from web pages.

I don't know why you'd want to switch to Chrome. It might be fast and pretty but it's not as versatile.

Firefox has a lot more options and, from what I understand, Chrome doesn't allow kernel-level ad blocking. That is to say, if you block ads in Chrome, the browser engine processes the page's code and then lets ad blockers hide elements. As opposed to Firefox which allows ad block extensions to block code before it's even loaded (meaning that ad blockers and popup blockers in Firefox are more effective.)

I finally put the new power supply in the computer that was going flaky. It was delayed a while because I got a power supply with a 24-pin motherboard plug, but the motherboard only had a 20-pin socket, and no room for overlap, so I had to track down an adapter. The first try, I had no network, which was a bit alarming, but after reseating a few things, it all seems to be working now.

It sounds a lot different from the old one, though. I don't know how long it's going to take to get used to that.
