Papers Please...
It is brutal so far I have been thrown in Jail for debts. being honest, been blown up by a bomb I failed to deactivate in time and it seems I might have accidentally joined a Terrorist group...
I also missed my Son's birthday and was unable to buy anyone in My family food, heating or medicine...
Very enjoyable though...
I've been playing Skyward Sword on Hero mode. It's not as hard as I though it would be. On my first play through, I found myself relying on extra hearts all the time. But with the threat of them not being around Im definately being a lot more cautious (Pro-tip: Kill everything from afar with a skyward strike. I very rarely used that when I first played through it, and now I live by it.)
Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros, I'm in Wakeport at the moment trying to wake up Big Massif who is sleeping on a DreamPoint. I'm in the dream world with Dreamy Luigi. So lets a go, ho ho!
Virtue's Last Reward
It's a good game but I don't like the changes from 999 to this one. Suddenly there is Japanese voice acting, the game is completely in 3D (neutral on that one) and the Escape sequences control horribly (too many misinterpreted clicks, no more moving with the D-Pad, no more quickswapping items without opening the inventory). You can now go back to any major point and change your decision but that came with a price. A lot of the paths end in a "to be continued" and have to be picked up again when you found information in another path. I'm kinda disappointed. Skipping already seen dialogue now works "automatically" but I still prefered 999 in that regard.
Actually, I've been thinking about marrying someone in Skyrim, and I'd like for it to be Lydia because she's my favorite NPC. However, my character is also female.
Skyrim is indeed very fun. I have a number of mods which improve certain things about vanilla, such as adding roads to the map, letting me have multiple simultaneous followers who can't die, and improving dragon AI. But these things being absent wouldn't make the console versions suck. It's just that the PC version is better for it.

Skyrim is a Land of Equal opportunity and the Goddess Mara does Not mind in the slightest whether you are male, Female, Cat, human, elf or lizard...
I'm not saying that I hope the game will let me be gay. I'm saying that I'm not and therefore my character ingame is not. And I wish that I had made my character male. I know I can change my attributes (all but race) ingame, but I've already picked out my character and my wife has been watching me play as her, so switching characters mid-story would be odd.
Plus, it's not like Fable where you woo some person and they simply start living in your house. Apparently, in Skyrim you have a wedding ceremony and everything.

I'm currently going through Shadow the Hedgehog trying to get all the endings and unlock the final story. Right now I have 5 out of the 10 endings unlocked.
Well then you will be even more shocked because I just managed to get all 10 endings and finish the last story. Its not the worst Sonic game. Not by far. Not even Sonic 06 is the worst Sonic game.....that honor goes to a disgrace of a racer....the broken game named....Sonic Free Riders!....Anyway Shadow was actually fun. Probably a 6/10 or 7/10 personally. Its not the best in the series. Not by far but for what it was it was pretty fun.
I think next I will finally try to finish Sonic Heroes. I always get to Rail Canyon as Team Sonic but a glitch keeps happening at the same point on one of the loops in Act 2 where at the top of the loop, Sonic,Tails, and Knuckles all fall off the loop and lose a life.
(Do VN's count? xD) I'm on Emi's route on Katawa Shoujo, and wOAH TOOLSHED SCENE. That's all I have to say about that 'game'.
In the next few days I'll be getting the full version of Papers Please, which I am really excited for because I loved the demo! Killing off my family, here I come!
First, not only is the map huge, but there is a crap ton of stuff in it. And these things are not recycled very often. It has a ton of dungeons, forts and villages, but they aren't /at all/ copies of each other like Bioware does in their RPGs.
Second, the side quests are not recycled. Yes, doing jobs for the Thieves Guild is, but that's about it. Each of the guilds have their own separate story missions, most of which are quite long. This game is going to take a long time to play, and only the jobs for Vex and Delvin in the Thieves Guild (which I recommend doing provide access to shopkeepers that have 4k gold) are boring and recycled.
EDIT: Someone is going to argue that yes many assets in the game are reused, but these are things like beds and pots and books and barrels. Not whole dungeons and forts as happens in Mass Effect, where every bunker looks identical to every other bunker. And there are lots more of these places in Skyrim.
Also, when people say they've been playing for 60 hours and still haven't beaten the game, it sounds like the story is padded all to hell and artificially made long and tedious. It's not like that. There's just a while lot of places to visit, and a whole lot of lengthy and interesting missions, whether centering on the main plot or otherwise, and very little of it is boring. The game doesn't feel padded, it feels... diverse.
And I haven't even finished the Thieves Guild side story (though I have finished the task of making every fence have 4k gold), or the Companions, nor have I even started dealing with the Bards. And yet I've been playing for hours and hours.
Just got my copy of Saints Row IV
I really like it...
It is just crazy fun, not serious at all and I get to a superhero president...
I can see some clear problems with the game but it is a game I can just play and go and blow everything up in without having to take it too seriously...
Sounds like I'd still prefer Saints Row 2. SR2 was fun and crazy but it was also shockingly serious at times. There wa balance in tone where with 3 and 4 the seriousness has given way to dildo bats.
I am in my everlasting quest to beat Xcom: Enemy Unknown on classic ironman mode, as always. But as of late, I've also been playing slender fortress, a mod for Team Fortress 2. It's actually badass.
Also, on the topic of SR, it has an Evil Dead quality about it. It started off serious, then it became a little silly, then by the 3rd and 4th installments, it's just fucking insane.
EDIT: And on the topic of Evil Dead, the second was also the best.
Yeah if you didn't like Saints Row 3 especially you probably won't like Saints IV that much...
It is much crazier and if that is what you want you will like a lot...

I only have played SR3 at a friend's house and I'd like to get SR4 eventually, but probably much, much later. I'll get SR3 the Full Package before SR4. But I will give my opinion on the Third game from what I played. I f***ing love it. It's fun, insane, and colorful, unlike GTA4.
Honestly the talks about saints row 2 being more serious than 3 just makes me want to avoid it more and more. I want an insane sandbox and Saints Row 3 + 4 fits that. All descriptions I get of Saints Row 2 make it seem worse and worse IMO.
And on that note. I've been playing a lot of Saints Row 4 and the game is amazing
SR2 is insane if you want it to be. It's just that the plot strikes a good line between being serious and being silly.
If you ignore that though you can go nuts, like beating people up dressed as a Hot Dog or just spending the entire game naked. There's a reason Yahtzee likes it so much. I do believe there's a giant foam hand that sends people flying, so it's definitely nuts. You just have to find the madness.
Speaking of Saints Row. I'll just take the time to say...
How in the world do you screw up super power fights? Super Power Fight club is one of the worst missions I've ever played and even better I have to do it if I want some of the good powers and weapons.
This game is amazing, but this is just atrocious. Why make it mandatory to use super powers to fight and then make the enemies immune to super powers(well just the boss anyway) and then make melee impossible because they always hit first and stun you and then just swing until you are dead. This is almost as bad as the "lag" scene of SR3 and the goal of that scene was to literally be unplayable.
Please let there only be 2 of these instances in terms of side quests. This isn't even hilariously terrible.
What IS the special edition stuff? Always wondered.

I started Super Meat Boy again this week. When I left off, I'd finished A+ing Hell and had done the first level of Dark Hell, so I had a steep difficulty curve to re-learn.
I also spent a good chunk of last night playing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and I had an awesome time with that.
And starting tonight at 1 am, as soon as I have the Bing Rewards points to get the Colombia's Finest pack, I'll be playing Bioshock Infinite again.
Tried to replay Walking Dead but i run into so many issues with load screens freezing or some random save file error that it totally killed the mood for me so i give up till season 2.
Other than that Skyrim has my full attention atm, bump into something new every day whether its a new quest/random npc/dragon hunting.
I keep adding/changing mods for Skyrim. Of course, I have things like SkyUI, Ultimate Follower Overhaul, A Quality Map with Roads, and Enhanced Mighty Dragons installed--but yesterday, I installed a mod to improve the book covers/spines, and one that makes Glass Armor transparent.
By the way: if you go looking for Enhanced Mighty Dragons on the Nexus, the modder has been banned for artificially inflating its popularity through dummy accounts. So you either have to now find it elsewhere or use Deadly Dragons instead (which is comparable from what I've read.)

Fallout
Yes it is.
It's more fun than I expected it to be. I actually laughed and smiled during it. I don't laugh or smile much anymore.
And I'm glad it's brought a smile to your face, Fawful. That's high praise indeed.

Oh, Lydia. You foolish, foolish woman.
Actually, I've been thinking about marrying someone in Skyrim, and I'd like for it to be Lydia because she's my favorite NPC. However, my character is also female.

There might be a mod for that.

Objection!
Sorry, I've been playing too much Phoenix Wright. Thanks to GMan and the ace attourney thread. *Shakes fist*
I make no apologies.
Lego Star Wars in the DS. 's OK.
