The Humvee's engine roars as it drives down the destroyed streets of a downtown city. Inside the vehicle are five people, Alexander Grand, Cecila Forgorn, Bryce Oxven, Jack Grant, and Derick Stein. Alexander is a white brown haired skinny 20 year old, Cecila is a white 32 year old red haired woman, Bryce is a 30 year old black bald muscular man, Jack is a 47 year old bald white man white a beard, Derick is a skinny white 18 year old. They all sit quietly until the car stops. A soldier escorts them inside a military zone set up in the downtown area.
Soldier- So you all are the Special Ops team?
Bryce- Apparently...
The soldier brings them inside of a room where a man in a suit has files in his hand.

???- Well then...Let me introduce myself, I am Christopher Brown, Head of the CDC. I know all of you. You all may not know this but there is a cure and we had it.

Christopher- Yes, had. Our team of researchers in D.C developed it...sadly the lab was over run later that week. The cure was extracted and a few scientists were saved. The cure crashed in some city and the team we sent to retrieve it never returned. We were moving the scientists to another lab but one of the teams haven't responded.
Derick- What happened to them?
Christopher- We don't know, last we heard they were taking shelter from a nasty storm. We are planning to send you to rescue the scientist. You are our Special Ops team. However you don't know each other, so I guess its my job to assign jobs and introduce you all. First off we have our team leader...Bryce, then our medic Derick, Our demo Jack, our assault expert Cecila. Then we have...weird...Alexander...but there is no specialty listed on here. So Mr. Alexander, what are you?

Suddenly Jason ducks when he hears some walkers, he jumps the highway barrier and walks into the forest. He comes into a empty field when there are about 30 walkers
Jason- My prayers have been answered....
Jason pulls out a shotgun and slowly loads it. A walker notices him and starts walking towards him.
Jason- Not yet buddy...
Jason finishes loading the shotgun then pops his neck. He pulls out a revolver and shoots the one that noticed him which draws the attention of the other 29
Jason- Time to fuck some shit up!
Jason runs straight into the crowd, shooting the walkers with the shotgun jumping and dodging them. Slowly dropping them one by one. His shotgun runs out of ammo
Jason- Damn...
Jason throws the empty shotgun at the closest one knocking it on the ground. He pulls out his revolver and shoots the one on the ground and then starts to shoot all the others. One grabs him and he punches it then grabs the machete on his back and stabs it through it's brain. He then duel wields the revolver and machete. Eventually all the walkers are dead but one and its slowly walking towards him, he aims his revolver and tries to shoot it but he ran out of ammo.
Jason- Well then...Hang on there friend.
The walker keeps walking towards him and he slowly reloads his revolver. The walker gets extremely close and he puts the revolver to it's head and blows it's brains out.
Jason- A job well done...

Basics: 23 years old, 5 ft 8 in, muscular build, brown eyes, short black hair. Wears a baseball cap, faded green T shirt and torn brown pants.
Background: Nicholas grew up in a small town in Mexico where he lived with his parents. He is an outdoor survivalist, and an excellent hunter. He would often go out on long camping trips by himself with minimal supplies to test his skills in nature. This has lead him to develop great physical strength. He was mostly accompanied by his loyal companion, Blitz, a german sheppard that has been acustomed to life in the wild. When the out break began, Nicholas took Blitz with him to try and survive, but the woods, much like all cities, have been over run by walkers.
Personality: Nicholas, despite his rough exterior, is an easy going and nice guy. He believes in helping others as much as possible if the situation allows, however, his survivalist nature has taught him to be cautious at all times. He may not be "book" smart, but he is wise beyond his years and good at giving advice.

Basics: German sheppard, 4 years old
Background: Blitz is Nicholas' loyal companion and best friend. He was found by Nicholas on the side of the road as a small puppy and has been with him ever since. Blitz has accompanied Nicholas on most of his hunting/camping trips becoming fierce and fast, scaring off even bears. For unknown reasons, Blitz is unaffected by the unknown virus that has created the walkers. He is most often ignored by them, but is still able to catch their attention if he barks or growls. Nicholas has used Blitz to his advantage.
Personality: Blitz is a friendly dog, and 100% loyal to Nicholas. Without Blitz, Nicholas would probably have a hard time, as Blitz has pulled him out of many hairy situations. Blitz is vicious when it comes to walkers and strangers who would try to hurt Nicholas.He is overall an excellent companion, with the training and disipline of a police K-9.
Hope this can be used. I added the dog because I thought it would be interesting to see an animal playing a role in the story.

In case you need more characters, I thought of a very interesting one.
Name: Nicholas Durand
Basics: 23 years old, 5 ft 8 in, muscular build, brown eyes, short black hair. Wears a baseball cap, faded green T shirt and torn brown pants.
Background: Nicholas grew up in a small town in Mexico where he lived with his parents. He is an outdoor survivalist, and an excellent hunter. He would often go out on long camping trips by himself with minimal supplies to test his skills in nature. This has lead him to develop great physical strength. He was mostly accompanied by his loyal companion, Blitz, a german sheppard that has been acustomed to life in the wild. When the out break began, Nicholas took Blitz with him to try and survive, but the woods, much like all cities, have been over run by walkers.
Personality: Nicholas, despite his rough exterior, is an easy going and nice guy. He believes in helping others as much as possible if the situation allows, however, his survivalist nature has taught him to be cautious at all times. He may not be "book" smart, but he is wise beyond his years and good at giving advice.

Basics: German sheppard, 4 years old
Background: Blitz is Nicholas' loyal companion and best friend. He was found by Nicholas on the side of the road as a small puppy and has been with him ever since. Blitz has accompanied Nicholas on most of his hunting/camping trips becoming fierce and fast, scaring off even bears. For unknown reasons, Blitz is unaffected by the unknown virus that has created the walkers. He is most often ignored by them, but is still able to catch their attention if he barks or growls. Nicholas has used Blitz to his advantage.
Personality: Blitz is a friendly dog, and 100% loyal to Nicholas. Without Blitz, Nicholas would probably have a hard time, as Blitz has pulled him out of many hairy situations. Blitz is vicious when it comes to walkers and strangers who would try to hurt Nicholas.He is overall an excellent companion, with the training and disipline of a police K-9.
Hope this can be used. I added the dog because I thought it would be interesting to see an animal playing a role in the story.

Savior- I got to tell them right now! If a herd is on it's way then we need to get our asses moving!

Savior walks outside and calls everyone together
Savior- Alright everybody...We have some horrible news.

Savior- A herd is coming...
The crowd starts whispering their fears
Savior- I know...I know...this is horrible news. We should start packing up, we will rest tonight then get moving tomorrow.
Sammy- Yeah but it will take too long!
Savior- Not if we work fast.

Savior- Listen everybody....just...I don't know....Relax for now, start to pack the easy stuff.
Anthony- Guys....Savior is right, we can't panic or we will die.
Amari- I agree with Anthony.
Sammy- Me too.

Everyone goes their separate ways and Anthony and Xavier follow Savior to the supply tent

???- Hello, I am Nathanial, Nathan for short. I am your scientist, any intel you recover and send to Kalyn will be sent to me for further study and hope to recover a cure.
???- Hello, I'm Kylie. Don't ask why I wear this suit. Anway i'm your driver, pilot, captain.
Bryce- I'm the team commander, When are we leaving.

The group walks out of the room with Alexander following behind them all. They get in the Humvee one by one.

They all walk back to camp. It's about evening by the time they get back. When they arrive they are let in, a few members come to check out the new guy.

Savior- We found him in the woods.
Kianna- He has a dog!
Nicholas- Yeah, I do, You can pet him he's nice.
Kianna pets Blitz while everybody keeps chatting
