    I wanna come too!
    I have Smarties!
We should have a big forum Barbeque this summer! :D
  • edited April 2010
Yeah, have the Telltale-Forums-Grilltacular in Golden Gate park! :D The Germans can bring the sausages, the Kiwis the lamb, the Aussies run the grill and the Californians provide the wine and veggies! Everyone else ... can come up with their own contribution!

I'll bring Twister so that Avistew has an excuse to get up close and personal with Yare.

    I'll bring the meat!
I've still got some leftovers from Fealiks' foot! :D

I can go with Wine too! And Pisco. And Avocados. And Fish (Salmon!). And... Empanadas! (Which I'm pretty sure you can get one type everywhere, but I like our version :) )

I'll bring whisky and stories. And maybe potato bread, but I ain't sharing it :p
  • edited April 2010
    I would bring ADAM.
  • edited April 2010
If we do meet up and plan it all, I'll bring plushies for people to take home. As long as I have enough time to make them all beforehand of course.

    Who says it can't?
Just requires careful planning, but I'm in if we make it happen.

Little Robert now has arms. Whether that will be enough for him to defend himself remains to be determined.

There is absolutely no way Yare could have predicted this when he was typing up his Résumé to send to TTG

Well if he didn't want to be stalked and made into plushies, he shouldn't have been so damn sexy.
  • edited April 2010
Now, now avistew ... just because you're a stalker does not give you the right to go spouting female chauvinistic rhetoric. We don't want to make the male forumites feel like we just see them as pieces of meat, even if we do. You've got to keep up the pretence, for politeness sake.
  • edited April 2010
    But... but...

Oh, okay. But that wasn't chauvinistic, was it? I thought chauvinistic was only against females. Except in French when that means jingoistic.

Anyways. I apologise. I take full responsibility for being a stalker, and I admit that Robert can't help it if he's so damn sexy.

    (Better?)

Actually, in English chauvinistic actually does mean the same as jingoistic, and the original term was "male chauvinist" which has now generally been reduced to just chauvinist. The idea was male chauvinists supported men over women, i.e. thought they were always smarter, less emotional and more capable than women.

I just wanna say that its very impressive for a game company to be so open that someone would start making plushies of one of their programmers.

I'm constantly amazed that I'm not only neither banned nor sued, but apparently encouraged to keep going xD

    Jinjoistic?

Just want to let you know that this is my favourite-est thread ever.

    Ever.

I've just read through all 14 pages of this. Amazing I didn't come here earlier. Could've used the laughs. Great S&M plushies! I'm not really into narwhals, though, but still looks good.

I was talking to Giant Tope on messenger, and I said "I think I'll have to make blueprint for Yare's heir".

    I meant hair.

But the typo was funny enough to be repeated here.
Anyway, trying to figure out how to make the hair. I'll draw it from various angles so I can get a better idea. Maybe I'll post the pictures so you can tell me if it's accurate or not. I don't have that many reference pictures, and all the ones I took show him from the back only!

(Actually, that's the angle I'm missing. From the back. But I'll manage I'm sure).

Yare... here is some reading you may find interesting... just kidding.

In my defense, I'm planning plushes of other people from the team, so there.

Is there a fee for filing a restraining order? Maybe Telltale could get a bulk discount.

I almost had to get one before... there was a girl who liked me a little too much and even started to threaten my wife.... she would drive by my house all the time and slow down.. thankfully she moved on... unfortunately it was a friend of mine she moved on with and ended up having a kid with him and now he has to deal with her.... craziness... he is trying to get full custody of their kid.

Avistew, I one hundred percent support this.
  • edited April 2010
Hum, so when I make Dominic I'll keep the blueprints on hand?

I tried making him scream but it didn't work out very well :p

... In other news, I haven't started the hair yet because I'm waiting for more feedback. And more pictures if at all possible *hint, hint*
But my hands are craving some more knitting so maybe I'll just start anyways.

Should I give Little Robert ears or not?

Without ears, how would he hear the sweet nothings you whisper to him at night? :(

Don't worry, he would still feel them.

I vote yes. Keep on truckin.

Depends on what you're going for. Are you going a less detailed route, with no mouth? Or are we going for something more detailed?

Ears could be good, but they'd have to be understated.
  • edited April 2010
Definitely ears. But what type of ears? I vote bunny ears.

Well, there is already a mouth. I think I'll have to have a nose, I don't often have them, but a moustache without a nose would be much too weird. I think. Maybe I'm wrong, I mean it's been done before.
Ears (and possibly nose) would actually be made separately and sewn on.

I'm using Jean Greenhowe's patterns for Little Robert, so the ears would look something like this:
