How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?

That number is incredible. Not only is it the answer to life, the universe and everything, but it's also the approximate number of licks it takes to reach the centre of a Tootsie Roll Pop. Amazing!

I need a suggestion for my next Movie-DVD-couch marathon. I already did Back to the Future trilogy, Jurassic Park trilogy and Ghostbusters duology.

You've done 1985 and 1984, so now you need a film series that started in 1983.

Yes. My iPod has been corrupted multiple times by a Dexim cable. It keeps dropping the connection mid-sync. Now, it's(the cable) just dead, and an error left my iPod with nothing on it.

Also, I hate how you can't restore the iPod from the iPod.

Well, Indiana Jones started in 1981, so that one might probably count.

I once had a Gremlins marathon. It was fun and stuff.

Also, if you really don't mind low-budget special effects, try The Librarian trilogy. It's out on Blu-Ray, so if you have a Blu-Ray player, you could get it on that.

I haven't seen Tron yet. I should. I will(if I find a copy) probably watch the normal and RiffTrax versions back to back.

I've been meaning to watch Tron again for a while. I saw it once. It was all right, and I'm pretty excited for Tron: Legacy.

Hmm, I think I'm due for BttF, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. Also, I've never seen Ghostbusters but I'm borrowing both movies from someone, so I should probably watch those. Oh, and I haven't done Lord of the Rings in a while.

I'm currently watching every movie I can find with Gene Wilder in it. So far I've done Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Blazing Saddles, The Producers, and Silver Streak. Probably Young Frankenstein will be next. I love this guy.

I want to finish collecting the films of Mel Brooks. Right now I only have Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and the new version of The Producers. The ones I still want most are History of the World: Part I and Silent Movie.

You can run a Mel Brooks marathon. lots of good (and bad, but funny) titles.
For instance, if you want something from 1983:"To Be or Not To Be".

I watched the Dark Crystal for the first time ever with Ian.

Me: Hey, that vulture guy reminds me of Yoda. (Five minutes later) Hey, that old woman reminds me of Yoda too! I'm going crazy!
Ian: Oh, I think they're both voiced by the same person who voiced Yoda.
Me: ... Ian, I've never seen the Star Wars movies in English. How would I know what Yoda sounds like in English?

    It's a mystery!

I'm wondering if it would work to have 'real world' locations in Monkey Island. Like, perhaps 17th/18th century France, Britain, America, etc. Or would it be best to just stick to purely fictional locations?

And I read it as 'The tractor is an episode of Seinfeld' as that's how my mind works when I see episode names of Seinfeld. TRACTOR!

I read it as "She thinks my tractor's sexy." Like this.

Which is odd because I don't even listen to country music.

How can your life be worthless? You're taking risks, you're making things happen. A worthless life is one that you don't believe in, have hope for. You're moved out on your own and everything.

If I was to give you any advice it would be to accept fear into your life, accept the fear of failure but don't embrace it. If you're willing to take risks, take a shot in life, you'll go far if you have the character.

Greet people with a smile, don't be afraid of saying the wrong things, go out and have fun, do something that gives you a real thrill. Don't let others influence how you act in life. Control yourself as much as you can, don't be afraid to take initiative when you feel you have to, don't let others be selfish and take ALL the initiative for you.

Don't be afraid to be wrong in life, don't be afraid to be scared in life, challenged, face it like a man. Don't be afraid to be afraid. Life isn't easy, never was.

Have a brave heart. If you get depressed, have a break down, accept it, don't fear it, then move on away from it. There's no shame in letting life get to you but it's always a shame if you lie face down drowned in a puddle.

It's ok to have hardships, be in over your head, it's the fear of failure and being in this situations that makes us feel so vulnerable and weak inside. You got to have the right attitude and face it like a man.
