Also, all of us but the minotaur are apparently hopelessly in love with Tope for the moment.

BAD NEWS GUYS, we will not be on for next week, that is when the Constantine House 80s Bash happens. Normally I'd be able to duck out, but as I've mentioned, I'm DJing, so I'm required to stay the entire duration of the party (9 P.M. - 2 A.M. GMT). I knew that it was on the 25th, but I didn't realize it was the 25th of Feb until I went to the second party organization meeting today. I'm really, really, sorry, after this week's session I was really looking forward to next Friday, but it is what it is. *sigh*

Shoot. Oh well. Not like those ruins are going anywhere.

Fear not, everyone! There is a perfect DM to replace her for the week! Me!

...I have been thwarted in sleep by possibly the most crazy awesome idea ever: epic level dragon pirate campaign.

EDIT: It's now almost three and since typing the above lines. I have genned a ship and a captain character, both of which may never get used. I need more hobbies, but damnit, if it ever does get used it will be the most badass thing ever.

I may be late this week due to issues involving the homework of a High school Psychology student. At least I have a good plan to do this one, unlike posting a poll involving video games on a site full of gamers. But yeah, Remolay Da'Aylf may be hiding in the shadows this week.

It's cool, the next couple of missions are semi-short, but we'll fill you in when you get back.
  • edited March 2011
It might even be for the best. You and ruins don't have a very good track record, first with that assassin vine with Tom, then in the tunnel wreckage with the eldritch horrors.

Just some friendly advice from your DM, guys: You may want to brush up on your rhyming insults. Just saying.

    I'll be unbeatable at that!

    You'll be an unbearable brat.

I'll be the toast of the party and the best in the chat.

You'll act like a smarty and smell like a rat.

Well I think you're a stupid, annoying prat!

And hopefully the next session won't fall flat...

Well I think you're a stupid, annoying prat!

I'll win every rhyme at the drop of a hat.

I'll fight every monster and make them go splat.

You would if you didn't have sight like a bat. XP

I have the sight of a hawk and reflexes of a cat.

I'll fight every monster and knock them all flat.

You seem to have forgotten that,
I ninja'd that rhyme to make you seem whack! XD
  • edited March 2011
You have the smell of a skunk and the strength of a gnat.

That's the worst rhyme that I've ever seen shat.

I feel bad for the others, as it's obviously not me that you're looking at.

No, it's definitely your scent that's about to make me puke up this orange.

Your rhymes are as rusty as a squeaky door hinge.

It's obvious INT is not your best stat.

I feel like you're using this post to issue a challenge.

Maybe you should try to stand downrange.

Of course my scent can't be as gross as the Marquis De Singe.

And his nasty and smelly little suspicious syringe.

But if you do puke you might need a lozenge.

Even my worst digits are pretty damn phat.

If your goal is to run the same rhyme into the ground, it looks like you're all over that.

Your hosting doesn't work and I already used "that", so if you don't have anything new then I wish you would scat.
  • edited March 2011
The host is not mine, I'm not responsible for that, and so says the guy who was first to repeat "flat".
  • edited March 2011
I said it first and then he edited his post. Or I just didn't see it. Drat!

That's the worst rhyming insult anyone has ever spat.
  • edited March 2011
That wasn't an insult, because I'm done. I'm saving my talents for DnD combat.

A pirate I was meant to be, Trim the sails and roam the seas.

I hope for your sake it's better than this paltry display or the end of a cutlass you'll find yourself looking at.

In all seriousness guys, after seeing this, I KNOW the second mission is going to be awesome. This makes me beyond pleased.

There's a whole other thread for this, if you consider yourself an insult rhyming aristocrat.

I've been worried today (and also very very bored because I have no life!) because my internet was cut off due to the fact that I forgot to pay a bill a month and a half ago (and not for the first time either) but thankfully I got it sorted and was back online a few hours ago.
  • edited March 2011
Okay guys, for those of you who couldn't make it or had to skip out early. We're all at level 4 (All those Burrowing biters added up), so please level up your characters accordingly.

I just noticed a bit of genius in me having a wolf for an animal companion. Wolves hunt rabbits, my character hates rabbits and is deathly afraid of them. O' Donnell is the perfect companion.
