Well, it's 5 new things TTG wants to announce, but I wonder wether it's 5 SEASONS at once. The pilot concept was, after all, not yet declared dead.
Still... another Monkey Island season or Sam & Max even... I think the possibility is there. Also, somewhere in these five somethings, there might be an original TTG franchise.
And while I'm editing and editing my post: I really hope that TTG doesn't repeat the BTTF/JP mistake and actually has something to TELL and SHOW come Feb 17. That massive E3 desaster must not repeat. The press doesn't like empty news.
Edit 1.000, I hope the announcements are:
1.) Sam & Max season 4 (Road movie adventure) (beginning of 2012)
2.) Raiders of the ... something (Indy sequel) 2011
3.) Firefly series (but with some shooting, actually ) late 2012
4.) Tales of Monkey Island (mid 2012)
5.) original TTG series
Im not worried about WHAT games are out(but I would love sbcg4ap 2 or more at the inventory) but HOW this will be done
Like BTTF and JP where it is BTTF then once it is done JP or will it be like Puzzle Agent and TDP where they were both released at around the same time.
By that i mean will it be one season after the next or some mix(actually wallace and gromit and tales would be a great example)
Wow. With 5 new things coming I think it'll be safe to say that I'll be stoked for at least one. I have no idea what they could be, but since everyone else is guessing I will say:
Well, I couldn't give a crap what the others are as long as one of them is a new season of Tales. I wouldn't say no to a new season of Sam & Max or SBCG4AP, but I want Tales a lot more.
I hope the TV/comic license ISN'T Walking Dead, but that's just because I don't care for it myself. Tried reading the comics, got bored, never watched the show. (but to be fair, most zombie stuff bores me) Firefly on the other hand would be awesome. MOAR JAYNE.

Call yourself Picard but only hoping for Star Trek in second place.
Futurama: Could "just launched" also mean "just relaunched"? Then, it would fit the comic book category as well...
Star Trek: A new ST crew and ship by Telltale... I admit... you could be on to something.
I like how a thread about something really exciting like 5 (yes, 5!!!) new projects by TTG very quickly gets taken over and turned into a Star Trek debate...

I prefer the Xbox 360, it has significantly better online capabilities!

Well, this forum is rated top of its class in tangents.
EDIT: Also, I'm not actually disappoint(ed). I like TNG quite a bit, but I'm no Trekkie. I just love that meme.
The anime is apparently really good, and actually pretty heartfelt, which you could never tell by the borderline hentai artwork. The TV series I don't like the look of is this-
It just looks bad. Then again, it was apparently critically acclaimed, so I dunno. That series aired a long time ago though, so it wouldn't count anyway.
The anime was based on the American comic series. The television series were also based on the comic series, but not as loosely as the anime. At least the television series had Sara Pezzini. 2013 will see the feature film.
Anyway, my bet is:
1. A game
2. A game
3. A game
4. An episodic game
5. A game, with the possibility of it being episodic
In fact, the first three also have the chance of being episodic.
I just hope that Telltale would one day make a Mystery Incorporated game. I love that series.
Warren Ellis might be a bit heavy for them, but I'd love to see an an adventure game based on some of his comics...like Blackgas.
Hey, if they make The Walking Dead as a game, then they can handle Ellis. The other one of his works I'd really like to see as a game would be Nextwave.
My bet (in no particular order)
1. CSI game (Mid year)
2. Current Episodic game new season (Strong Bad probably, September)
3. A new Pilot game (filler date)/Puzzle Agent (April or May) season or "At the Inventory" casual game (Filler date)
4. New-out of the blue-franchise (Walking dead or something, November)
5. Final Sam & Max season (December)
I'm hoping for a Puzzle Agent series, a new At the Inventory game (or a whole series? ), a Telltale original adventure, and either a new Tales of Monkey Island or SBCG4AP (I think they should take another year off for Sam & Max). If they're on good terms with the new LucasArts management I'd love it if they did a series to conclude LOOM or made a new Maniac Mansion game. As for the just launched TV show/comic book: I'm too involved in catching up on older shows I like to worry about new shows, but I'm sure I'll like whatever Telltale licenses. They've been really tapped into my personal tastes so far.

When there is time i'll play through them again on the Mac, thanks!
Sad, this is the last properly steerable game TTG did.
1. Star Trek
2. Futurama
3. ToMI Season 2
Another Strong Bad season would also be good.
Either way, I'll be preordering them all, as and when, as that's what I do :P
Great news all round, especially with the confirmation!!! :-D

I hate you and everything you stand for.
This entire thing is pretty cool beans.
I humbly disagree. I never got into the original series as much as TNG or Voyager. But enough about that...
Always bet on Sisko. Always.
Cyberpunk scenarios might indeed be something for TTG...

I'm sorry, nah not really, but that's just how i feel about it. I love TOS but can't stand the rest for a number of reasons.

*sniff* I still miss you Nextwave...
Is it garfield???

FINAL? Why would you say something like that? I think they should stop at 5 seasons, that's a good number. Or never. That's good too.
I also am really hoping that Tales of MI season two will be announced.

Redacted is my fave comic series!
This is easy. We just have to figure out what recent comic/TV series had a guy named Red acting in it.
pokemon!
