Still working on it. I decided to put off some elements of it until I got back to university so I could draw on some of the local talent here, but yeah I'm planning a big art unveil soon.
That's right kids, with the book now going through the publishing process, I'm reviving this. This month I'll be hunting for an artist on campus who can adequately paint these portraits so I can shovel my game sprites into them.
Don't give up on it dude, your art seems to be getting only better and better. Would totally play the everlasting frick out of that game with such scenery.
Oh yeah, I've upped the art considerably. All I'm doing now is finishing up the work with my book, as far as agenting. In the meantime I've got word out that I'm looking for a background painter, my only weakness. The game engine, story and puzzles are ready to implement.
The end is within sight. Soon the backgrounds will be done and I'll move onto animating characters, while I (hopefully) have someone painting the backgrounds.

Dun. Dun. DUUUUUN!!!
According to my count I have 10-15 scenes left to ink. Then it's all down to how fast I can get them painted.
The job I was putting off forever when working on 'Carnival of Monkey Island'.
So you're the fella whose work went to shit recently because of copyright?
One of the fellas. I was working on the story and script (which I had completed for Episode 1), with occasional design contributions.
Let it get leaked. You know. Whoopsie.
This guy is really good. I want.
