I was about to volunteer myself, but then I read the non-sucky part. Both Pants and Dashing can confirm that I do not qualify.

The game is awesome so far. In before "the potato is a lie!"

AWESOME finale though I'm still a bit confused. Overall, good game, took between 7-8 hours to finish up. Probably give it another playthrough in the summer.

Gaaah why don't we have spoiler tags?!
  • edited April 2011
You mean why aren't people using them or why doesn't the forum have them? Because it does. Also, I see you know where the edit button is. Please make more use of it. I wouldn't say anything if this double posting was once in a while, but you seem to be doing it pretty frequently.

It's not intentional... nor malicious. You've also called me out on two threads today.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be mean about it or anything. Just a friendly suggestion is all.

I'm a bit late with this, but I just bought Portal 2 along with Deathspank and Thongs of Virtue. Downloading Portal 2 now and after only 5-10 minutes I'm at 12%! That's pretty good for a 10GB file, I reckon :D

Shameless plug; I'll probably post a review on Cultural Zest in a few days :p

Hey, maybe you can play with me :D.

I'm fine playing by myself, but I tried co-op yesterday, and my performance was the definition of fail.

Completed both single player and coop the other day. Missing 3 trophys on coop, but I'm stuck until PSN decides to come back up again. Woe is me.

Enjoyed it, but it was a bit on the short side.

People say the boss fight was ingenious, I didn't think it was so great. I think people say the boss fight was good because it involved a puzzle that was necessary to lead to the finale.

It's clever because it's the reverse of the first game's boss fight.

Cool! We can kill each other repeatedly. It'll be fun!

Majus and I tried out the co-op.

I have officially done everythere there is to do in Co-Op now, except I need to hug more friends. Anyone have it for the 360 and want to be my hug-friend!?
  • edited April 2011
I've done 4/5 of co-op with my sister. I thought she'd be bad at it, but as it turns out playing with someone next to you is a lot easier than online. We're the best Portal team ever!

I thought I could live without this game, but not having it is driving me increasingly mad.

Game of the At Least the Last Five Years. Seriously.

Well I completed everything about 2 days ago now, even co-op, and it was great to me. I can see why it's not for everyone though but I have to say to me it was one of the best games I've played in a LONG time. It's witty writing, great characters and awesome ending gave me a feeling of pure awesome. Here's hoping for some Portal 2 DLC in the future.

Knowing Valve's marketing strategy, they will probably start from 30$ each.

...erm, what? Valve always releases their DLC for free.

The immense lack of factual knowledge behind this statement is....fascinating.

There is a robot add-on store, though. They'll charge for that maybe. DLC will always be free. Or I stop buying Valve products.

Game of the At Least the Last Five Years. Seriously.

I'd agree with that, I dont remember being blown away by a game since probably shadow of the colossus. Allthough I cant remember a game so consistantly brilliant that not a single line of dialogue or puzzle felt like filler. I know its short, but the length still felt satisfying and left me with the same feeling you get after watching a paticularly good film.

My only slight disappointment was that the final few puzzles weren't as complex as I had expected. Infact, the puzzle that took me the longest was early on-with the 3lasers and the clean room, similar to the original portal. I know valve said alot of the puzzles can be solved in different ways for a greater challenge so I hope we get something similar to still-alive with a set time to work towards.

Hoping to finish co-op in the next few days, if anyone still needs to do chapters 4+5 add me on steam! So far, the randomers ive been given either keep hugging me for achievements or are trying some sort of speed run which sucks. my steam name is the same as on this forum

You get all the content and you can buy some extra cosmetic stuff if you wish. I have no problems with this, I don't feel compelled to buy any of it because it doesn't split the playerbase up

I'd lend a hand but I don't think itd be much fun playing with someone who already knows the solutions :(

I didn't, but I did take up GLaDOS's offer earlier.
  • edited April 2011
So GLaDOS is Caroline, who may have been married to Cave Johnson, and Chell is their daughter?
