The front page only shows F.3.A.R., but it is indeed the whole series.
Here's your new week-long deals. If you don't already own it, for the love of Zod pick up Jack Keane, it's an absolute steal at that price and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
What? It's not even close to being the worst in the trilogy. Apart from some pixel hunting issues, unconvincing voice acting and bad writing, it's not an awful game. The second game has very few redeeming qualities.
ARMA II is required for that DayZ mod, so if you're interested in that, now's a good time to grab it.
To be correcter: Combined Operations is required for DayZ.
That's ARMA II AND the expansion Operation Asshat Arrowhead.
Don't buy ARMA II on it's own just to realize you need the expansion after the deal ended.
People should buy this, and they should buy it here. It just got a major update that includes mod support and a graphical overhaul that adds soft shadows and other nice features.
does the 360 version include the new "Live Freemium or Die" content?
No but it counts as a separate indie game that I also bought...
Dlc quest live freemium or die is probably my game of the year and I actually chose to play it over Bioshock Infinite on launch day...

Presumably, since it's so short, you actually got a chance to play both?

My brother was really annoyed that I had got up early in the morning to play Bioshock Infinite and then spent the following 2 hours playing DLC quest and then decided to leave Bioshock for another day...
He really wanted me to play it...

I love you for that story. You made the right decision.
This deal includes a grand total of none of the extra songs available as DLC. They're still £530 for the lot.
Actually only half of that because it lists the songs and the bundles that include these songs in one list. Still some strange Train Simulator Shit going on. Also you cannot play this game without a special cable and a real guitar.
Buyer beware.
Oh I DO have the PS3 version and a cable.
I wonder if I should get the PC version for portability's sake.
(My little brother often needs to use the PS3... Hmmm....)
EDIT: OOOH! You can inject custom songs into the game.
I think I'll have it afterall! ;D
I played it a little last night, and I can say that I'd be very disappointed if I had paid that much for it*. Overall the backgrounds look really nice, but several of the characters look rather bad in comparison. Especially the bar patrons. They look down right awful. There's also issues with long loading times between rooms, which of course could be an issue with only the Linux version I'm playing. Inventory descriptions lacks voice over, but I knew about that from a previous update and it's down to lack of money. The controls are as awkward as they were when the game was new. There is the new hold down mouse key for a verb icon wheel functionality, which is nice, but I hate that when you select an action from the wheel it doesn't stick as your new default action. There's also no text on hover, which makes it hard to find hotspots.
Which really is a shame, because the writing is what's good about the game, and I find it sad that I might be missing out on things because I can't find the items that might trigger responses. There's a lot of lines there that I don't remember from the original, and it's not really surprising either since they have both Al and Josh on board.
Overall I'm having a lot of fun with the game, I just think it's sad that it has a lot more amateurish feel to it than I had hoped for.
*I actually paid more than three times as much for it, but that was to Kickstart the franchise, which I think it was absolutely worth.
...and since I'm on holiday for the next two and a half weeks, that'll be the last Deal I post until July 15th. You guys will just have to cope on your own for a while (while I hope I can get free internet on my tablet so I can buy stuff in the Summer Sale).
Seriously, it means a lot to know that for all my self-deprecating, I'm actually providing a service that's useful to people. It genuinely means more than you'd think.
I maintain a similar thread over at the Double Fine forums, so I can probably cross post here for a while if no one else does it. It won't be all fancy with images though.

When the Summer Sale hits there's no sense in posting images anyway.

Paradox Weekend Deal is War of the Roses. For the love of Zod, get the Brian Blessed add-on. PLEASE.

Seriously, I will not shut up about that game until everyone in the world owns it.
Is that the one with the makeshift peanut butter or is that something else?
Welcome to the club.
You're thinking of the first Runaway game.
*shudder*
Today's Daily Deal is 75% off...

I might as well get it again...

No, I did not make that up. The prices they charge are extortionate.

I'd miss lots of sales if it wasn't for this thread.
