Green Man Gaming has a bunch of adventure games from some no-name developer on sale for up to 75% off, and they appear to be all Steam activated.

Don't worry, the Steam summer sale is coming up in a couple months, and the Rhode Island government finally started authorizing sales.
    Gah, freakin' finally.

    Daily Deal is 50% off...

    capsule_467x181.jpg

    Come get some, etc.

Oh, and remember the Quick-Time-Event game to end all Quick-Time-Event games? It's on Steam now.

    Daily Deal:
Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition 50% off

Also if you like QTE games like Jurassic Dildo The Movie The QTE from TaleTell you can happily buy "Dragon's Lair HD" on Steam now and satisfy your all QTE non-gameplay needs!

    Y'know, again.

Oh, and Fortix 2 has had a permanent price drop, losing 80% off its previous price.

    Daily deal:

    header_292x136.jpg

    €5,24 / £6.24 / $7.49

Both main game and all DLC is 75% off. I believe the game is in a current bundle, so that might be cheaper.

EDIT: I really wish Telltale had bothered with integrated Tapatalk, because this is super awkward on my phone.

EDIT 2: Screw it. I'll fix it from my computer later.

EDIT 3: Ok, fixed. My phone inserts spaces when I accept word suggestions, and it was messing up the BBCode.

It was the Indie Gala Weekly deal, but sadly that's over now. :(

Who likes free games? Penny Arcade is giving away free Steam codes for Rain Slick 3, which is the first Zeboyd PA game. Hurry, the deal ends tomorrow.
  • edited May 2013
Awesome. Already got it, but hey, here's a free code for those who can't be bothered to click a link:

Can't get one. I am not human so I cannot get past the captcha. How sad. Thank god I already own the game.
  • edited May 2013
I must have wasted so many codes clicking that button and thinking nothing happened.

Having the code appear above the captcha (and having the captcha reload instead of disappearing) seems like a really poor usability choice. My eyes didn't think to look up there before assuming something was broken.

Yeah the same thing here. It'd make more sense to have it below the captcha were nothing was at instead of above the captcha which I thought didn't really matter after reading it once and didn't think it'd change after hitting submit.

Grand strategies are the shit, punk.

This one doesn't look so good compared to other grand strategies available, though.

Hey, I made no judgements. Just showed peeps what it looked like. Chillax.

Today's Daily Deal is 75% off...

    header_586x192.jpg

It's the first two games in the series. Y'know, the ones without shoved-in co-op and microtransactions.
The good ones, basically. I still say the first one's one of the best games of the last 5 years or so.

Magic 2013 is on sale (66% off for various packs and options). I guess we can expect the next in the series next month then.
    Scumbags.

Remember how I mentioned it was supposed to be coming out at a slightly lower price? Yeah, that's not happening in the UK! £39.99. Which is bullshit.

    $39.99
    £39.99 (converts back to $60.38)
    €49.99 (converts back to $64.43)

So yeah, we all get screwed. So much for my actual interest in the game. :(

Hey so... Defiance is supposed to be free-to-play this weekend, with a 30% off discount to boot. I say supposed to because there's no way, for me at least, to actually download the game.
  • edited May 2013
First I've heard of the free weekend, but given how 'meh' people say it is, I wouldn't be surprised.
  • edited May 2013
Well, looks like you were right, Gibby.

Also, today's Daily Deal is 75% off...

And also, remember Get Loaded Go? Well, they've got a new 2 for £6 (or local equivalent). All games are on Steam.

I think it's just UK or the rest of the world, because it comes up as 2 for $10 for me. Usually I get Euro prices at sites like these (even though I don't use that currency either).

I've been thinking about getting Stealth Bastard.

Today: 30% off AssAssIns Creed 3 30% off.
This includes the DLC and the deluxe Edition which also includes all DLC. So don't buy the DLC twice. If you want all the DLC get the Deluxe Edition and save a few bucks.

It's worth pointing out that, like Just Cause 2, Assassin's Creed 3 uses DirectX 10, so you NEED Vista or above.

Funnily enough they don't make this particularly apparent, so imagine my frustration at discovering it!

Maybe not when compared to the other games in the series, but on its own merits I still enjoyed it.

    On consoles, obviously.

Today's Daily Deal is 66% off...

    capsule_467x181.jpg

    And the week-long deals:

66% off Angry Birds Space (I didn't even know this was on Steam!)
    75% off the Flatout series
    75% off Greed: Black Border
33% off Papa and Yo (get the soundtrack edition, it's worth it)
75% off The Adventures of Shuggy
    75% off The Guild 2
    66% off They Bleed Pixels
    40% off Tower Wars
    75% off Waking Mars
Various off Worms Ultimate Mayhem (on its own it's 40% off, but the complete collection is 66% off - which makes it cheaper to buy it with all the DLC than on its own!)

I kinda wish Steam would make a bigger deal on these offers, a lot of them are great.
  • edited May 2013
Can anyone comment on whether or not They Bleed Pixels is any good? I mean, it looks pretty good, and the price is definitely good enough to justify getting it, but I just wanna know if it IS good.

It's REALLY good, the Super Meat Boy of Ninja Gaiden-style platformers. It's a game that hits the ground running though, it starts off hard and gets harder.

I just bought it at full price last weekend.
Be warned: No D-Pad support. I hate my life.
From what I've played I love it. There also is a free flash version of the game on AdultSwim.

It's AWESOME. Play the free flash version, it serves as a good demo. It's an insanely fast-paced arcade-style game with lots of unlocks and it comes with a VERY well-drawn comic that I would have bought on its own if I could have. This is actually really, really good.

    There is for me.

Fight pad can use the D-Pad for either right or left stick if the d-pad is not a valid input.

Just a heads up, Night of the Rabbit is available on Steam and, unlike GOG, comes with the German language version. Of course, it's probably not a flat 20 dollars US in Germany, so make of that what you will.
