No weekly sales as far as I can tell. Anyone know when the summer sale starts?
I still have my Xbox copy but might buy it again for convenience..
This is one of my favourite games of all time and is the only good fable game...
Must resist...
If you're using Windows 7, you'll likely have to run Fable in compatibility mode for it to work. I couldn't get it to start until I set it to Windows NT 4.0 compatibility mode, but after that, it ran without a hitch.
Also, the UI is a bit tiny at high resolutions since it doesn't scale, but there might be a fix for that out there somewhere.

Works perfectly fine for me. I have Windows 7 and didn't have to change any settings. My monitor's native resolution is 1440x900, and I wouldn't consider that small.
Anyway, this is Fable at 1920x1080, which I play on a 21.5" monitor.
The only thing that bothered me was the size of the health/mana bars in the upper left. It's a wee bit harder to keep tabs on your health and mana in the heat of battle when those bars are so itty-bitty.
It's definitely not a deal-breaker, though. I got used to it after a while.
So, Baldur's Gate EE is 75% off for Midweek Madness. May wanna hop on that in the event it gets delisted too, or you may want to avoid it since Overhaul is not allowed to fix the bugs in it.
Baldur's Gate Enhanced is semi-tempting at that price but I dunno. It's not the superior sequel and the updates are just an easier install of an alternate version of the usual mods, and I hear the extra content isn't that amazing either?
For Green Man Gaming, if you see "Third party DRM: Steam" on the game's page, that means you'll get a Steam key from the purchase.
I can vouch for GMG. I've bought a number of games from them in the past, and they have good deals pretty often, as well as cash-back offers and coupon codes.

No it isn't the sequel but it's worth the price anyway.
Also it's not just an easier way to install mods.
Among the new content are several recruitable NPCs that have BG2-like dialogues. (Those were the DLC packs for the IOS version but they are already included in the PC version).
Remade cutscenes and a font that is actually looking good. The UI has some issues with the Steamoverlay though. Better deactivate it.
The bonus offer seems to change with the sales, and right now it's a 20% off voucher that's only valid with the 666 Deals (that's what they're calling this sale).
With the current 10% off voucher I think this is the cheapest The Book of Unwritten Tales has ever been. I think it was 75% off in the Steam Linux sale in February.
Just chipping in with my thanks as well - you've really gone above and beyond with this and I very mich appreciate it. I raise a (root) beer in your honour, flesk.
Greenman Gaming have really been struggling since the new deals went up two hours ago, so I'll have to do those later. Meanwhile, here's the latest Steam daily deal:
Oh is that, that zombie game everyone got lumbered with when we bought the Humble weekly sale for Wallace and Gromit?
I didn't get it with that, since I only paid one cent for the DRM-free copy I honestly should have had years ago. That zombie game(REAL original, guys!) was a beat the average bonus and I wasn't gonna go and pay five dollars more than I had to.
If you are not being sarcastic about JP. Basically its like you are watching a movie only with QTE's throughout the game. Its a disappointment as a Telltale Game in my opinion. I thought it was OK but again a disappointment in my opinion.
Anyone know if that Jurrasic Park game is any good?
If you love QTEs and wish that every game is only QTEs then get it. It's by far the worst this company ever released. And they know it.
90 minutes of pain for every episode. I lost my save after episode 1 and refuse to replay it because it is so horrible.
Yeah, I was being sarcastic regarding Jurrasic Park. I've seen enough of it to know that I'm not remotely interested in it.
I hope you're right, Gibbeynator. Bleed was recently in a Groupees bundle too, and it's currently even cheaper at Gamers Gate, but without any Steam keys.

No sign of the summer sale today. I think that makes it extremely likely that it will start next Thursday.
It's the 4th of July. No one is in the Steam offices. Who would expect the sale to start on this day?
