Might be worth mentioning to people new to Telltale practically every Telltale game is 50% off...
and I don't really see any of them as Daily Deals or Flash Sales...

The whole series is on sale. And I know Rather Dashing wants those games. Hope he wakes up before they are back to the old price.
$16.97 for the set! Perfect! Origin ALONE is usually sold for $20!

Can't believe I didn't realize this sooner. Tomb Raider, Chivalry, Bioshock Infinite; these games got trading card support, and these games are all represented in the Summer Sale trading card set. So these games are probably going to be the encore sales.

Well I'm certainly getting Tomb Raider, not sure about the rest.
  • edited July 2013
I really enjoyed that very depressing game.
  • edited July 2013
Thanks for that, just bought Tomb Raider collection.
  • edited July 2013
Seriously, classic Tomb Raider games are 60 cents each as individual purchases. It's crazy!

Both will 100% get a daily deal because they both have Summercamp cards.

I'm waiting for Prison Architect and Kerbal space programme...
Both are guaranteed by Steam trading cards...

Which is why I mentioned them.

BTW did we ever get confirmation on that "If you buy the game that has a summer card you get that card"? I bought Tomb Raider but didn't get the Tomb Raider card.

I think the cards are random. I've got a Football Manager 13 card, and... well... there's no way in hell I'm ever buying Football Manager 13. (on the other hand, I've got a Chivalry card and I did buy Chivalry, but I still think it's random)

Tomb Raider is pretty damn tempting, but I'm not sure how well I could run it on PC, I can't run it at all until I replace my graphics card, and I'm sort of trying to avoid making purchases over $5, and I don't want to make many of those either.

Plus I'm sort of interested to see if I can hold out for the the whole sale without opening my wallet.
  • edited July 2013
Well Tomb Raider decided to jump from 64% to 0%, so that's nice steam. I didn't want to play the game I just bought today anyway.
  • edited July 2013
I'm hoping that Universe Sandbox is the next community choice...
  • edited July 2013
Sorry, I voted Antichamber even though it was already on sale. I'm not helping. Sandbox is always in these deals. If not now, it will be.

    EDIT: congrats, you won.

Would that be considered ironic that they're selling budgeting software in a massive cash sink like this, or is that one of those things that people just think is ironic?
  • edited July 2013
    Maybe...
Really what the software 'You need a budget' should do is to first tell you that you shouldn't have bought it...

The () is Fallout: New Vegas and I'd recommend it at that price.

Also, I'd like to thank Valve for making today a day where I don't want anything from the sale, so I can just play Tomb Raider instead. How nice of them to do that for me :p
  • edited July 2013
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition for five dollars is damn near criminal. The game is worth so, so much more than that.

I don't care what everybody else says, it blows Fallout 3 right out of the water.

Thanks, you're right. The link doesn't seem to be working though. It just redirects back to the main page for me.

    New Vegas Ultimate Edition.

    $5.(US price)

If you don't own it, buy it.

    Seriously.

Goddamn this is so much better than "Fallout" 3.
  • edited July 2013
Is that the URL you get on the frontpage? For me it comes up as http://store.steampowered.com/sale/summer2012_fallout, which obviously seems a bit odd considering it's summer 2013 now.
  • edited July 2013
No, I just searched for it. Does the same thing to me.
  • edited July 2013
I broke. I bought Tomb Raider yesterday and System Shock 2 this morning.
  • edited July 2013
I am most disappointed that there doesn't appear to be any way to collect all the additional skins for Borderlands 2 into one cheaper bundle.

Actually, aside from the season pass, there's no DLC pack bundles at all. Bah!
  • edited July 2013
Thanks guys. I may be on vacation, but I still had to sleep and shop.

After playing it and never getting past the first town, I can wholeheartedly say Fallout: New Vegas is more of a Fallout than Fallout 3.

If you're going to grab Fallout: New Vegas, be sure to pick up the Mission Mojave mod, which is apparently a massive bug fix. It's a good game, but its favorite thing to do is to crash to desktop.

Grabbed it while it was flashy. :D Couldn't pass it up at that price.
  • edited July 2013
Same here. Don't know if I'll ever play it though. I have an aversion to games that feature a gun sticking out on the bottom of one or more of the screenshots on Steam.

FYI on the new pole. Infestation:Survivor Stories is literally just the War Z rebranded so people don't realize it(also they lost the rights to War Z because World War Z), so don't vote for it.
