    Something I forgot to mention:

Dustforce is probably on sale today because this is the drop date for the level editor. So if you like making levels or playing through community content, that chunk of value has just been lumped in with the game.

Ooh, now that you mention steam and level editing: the trailer for the Perpetual Testing Initiative has gone up on steam, and it's full of Cave Johnson and general hilarity.

Today's Midweek Madness is awesome. Buy it or you will never know the horrific secrets of my avatar!!!

    ...well, it's also great.

I have zero clue if I should get Morrowind today or not. I still have Oblivion to get through...
  • edited May 2012
Chances are it'll probably be on sale again at some point. I'd be amazed if it's not.

Probably. I probably should focus on Oblivion instead of Morrowind for now. Unless Morrowind is some god game that Oblivion fails in comparison to in every possible way.

It, of course, is. But seriously: this game has been cheaper before. Just wait for a better deal.

I always preferred Gothic games over Daggerfall/Morrowind/Oblivion. Just saying. :p (Haven't played Skyrim yet, so can't say anything about that)

    Skyrim was pretty good.
Got about 90 hours in it.

Bethesda seems to love announcements. They announced and announcement FOR an E3 Skyrim-related announcement!

    Today's Daily Deal is A-10C Warthog. £10.19 / $13.59.
  • edited May 2012
Today's Daily Deal is Transformers: War for Cybertron. A stupidly cheap £3.74 and a not-as-cheap-but-still-good $7.49.
  • edited May 2012
Wow. 4,99€. I always wanted to play WickWikis Mom high on drugs. Let's hope this game is as bad as the movie.
  • edited May 2012
It's supposed to be half-decent, actually.
  • edited May 2012
Also: The Weekend Deal is Sanctum, a first-person Tower Defense game.
It's free to play this Weekend and also 75% off.
    2.49€
Don't forget to get the 2 free DLCs. A Christmas pack and the "Yogscave". If you ever saw any video by these annoying Yogscast guys you might want it.

The second Weekend Deal is Batman: Arkham City. 50% off, for 13.99€
  • edited May 2012
Wait, those are up already? Oh wait, it's Thursday. Ugh. Still getting used to the change in days off I have.

But yeah, those are the Weekend Deals. Lemme do the UK/US prices for you.

    Batman: Arkham Asylum - £3.40 / $6.80
    Batman: Arkham City - £9.99 / $14.99
And the DLC's also Half Price!
    Challenge Map Pack - 99p / $1.49
    Skins Pack - £1.74 / $2.49
    Nightwing / Robin Bundles - £2.49 / $3.49 each
...and if you don't have any of the series, the bundle for all the above plus the first game is £19.99 / $29.99.

    Sanctum - £1.99 / $2.49, as well as being Free-to-Play all weekend.
    DLC for this one, too!
    Killing Floor, Penetrator & Violater - 17p / 29c each
    Aftermath, Aftershock, Cavern & Slums - 32p / 49c each
There is also two free DLC packs, as ketzer said - A Christmas Pack and Yogscave.
Finally, there's the OST, which is 87p / $1.24. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's worth it.

If you don't like low quality mp3 stay away from the soundtrack. The storepage says it's only 128 kbps.
Edit: oh and uncompressed WAV. I guess that's okay then.
Also I'm waiting for a GOTY Edition of Arkham City. Or a better deal in the summer sale. Also it's a dick move that you need all DLC to obtain all achievements in Arkham City.
  • edited May 2012
Wait, Sanctum just got free... Yogscast DLC?

Well I'm replaying the game now...
  • edited May 2012
    Beh, Yogcast.

Most of the Minecraft community don't like them, mostly due to the "YogBox". Basically a modpack.

Now before you go on about "but Minecraft modding should be for everyone blah blah blah", consider this. When a mod is placed in a modpack, we as modders can't give any support for any errors or faults that occur, mostly because the error might not even be caused by our mod. Aside from that though, most modpacks are assembled without the consent of the modder. It's just common decency to ask for permission, unless the creator specifically says not to bother with asking (either because he just doesn't want it in any form of modpack or he already gave full permission).

That, and there are a shitton of other reasons why they hate Yogcast.

    Crap.

I really want this game, but I've spent too much on games already lately.

Should I have bought the first 2 Deathspank games (which is what I did), or waited and bought Arkham City?

Arkham City has a GOTY version coming in September. That's what I'm waiting for.

Just wait for the GOTY of the game. The DLC-bullshit makes this a no-buy for me personally.
Also they will still add new DLC.
  • edited May 2012
Bear in mind that, as far as I can tell, the Harley Quinn DLC is console-exclusive. So... yeah.

If they d that the game is dead to me.
  • edited May 2012
They announced it will be included on the GOTY edition and the website does not mention platform restrictions...but...but... The DLC on it's own for this month, looks like console only. Will probably have to wait til September to play it on PC(barring another announcement).

    good call. :)

There isn't a release date for the PC, but Warner Bros did say that it will be coming to PC.
  • edited May 2012
Ah. Missed that. Well, it'll probably be released months after the console versions, so it might as well be exclusive.
  • edited May 2012
Well the achievements for it are already on Steam. Cannot be too long.
  • edited May 2012
Uh-huh. I'll believe it when I see it.

Today's Daily Deal is Titan Attacks!, which is £1.49 / $2.49. It's a sort-of mix of Space Invaders and a SHMUP.

The whole Arkham City thing makes my blood boil. How (and more importantly WHY) can they bring to nothing such an awesome franchise by screwing up so BADLY with the added content delivery. I wholly regret buying those two DLCs with Robin and Nightwing. I was sure they were going to have at least a short campaign for each of them like Catwoman's. But no. If this new Harley DLC is console-only I'm boycotting it on principle. Just because I wasted money already on the terrible DLC. It was a complete waste of money for me because I do not play any of the challenge maps. At all.

Stupid expectations. Of course I would/should have read the details on them but at that price each I figured it'd be more than a new character model, a couple new fighting features, and some challenge maps. Terrible terrible.

Yeah. Those did cost far too much. The price in this deal is more apropriate. But even I knew there wasn't much content.
  • edited May 2012
Aw, that was nice of them. Release a free skin... that no-one will ever use. :)

Today's Daily Deal is Chime. £1 / $1.24. No idea what it's like.
  • edited May 2012
Not bad, actually. I'd definitely recommend it for under two bucks. It's probably the only game I ever bought for a Steam sale event (the Treasure Hunt, in this case) that I still go back to every once in a while.

    Amazon digital :

Oh So Fine Bundle for $9.99 .

Includes Steam keys for Costume Quest , Psychonauts and Stacking . Each game also on sale separately .

Speaking about Steam keys . My offer .

Amazon Downloads aren't available outside the US, I'd just like to note.

Today's Daily Deal is the AquaNox series. £2.24 / $2.49 each or £3.49 / $3.99 for both of them.

I purchased the bundle and i live in Hungary .
  • edited May 2012
Well, technically you CAN buy it in other countries, but you need a valid US address. You gotta be sneaky with these things.

In other news, this is post 2,000. Yays! Someone is awesome for letting me have it.

Steam not working for anyone else? Keep getting the no connection bug.
EDIT:Starting to get back up again. Nevermind.
