    Daily Deal:

The price is currently -$10. Yes, MINUS ten dollars. That's 150% off. Can't imagine THAT lasting too long.

    Now that it's fixed, the prices are £4.99 / $4.99 / €6.24. Sorry, Eurozone!
  • edited November 2012
    ...and it didn't. haha
  • edited November 2012
...no, it's still showing it. Also, Europeans - Germany in particular - get royally screwed over (again).
  • edited November 2012
It was showing it, but you couldn't get it. Now it's completely fixed at 75%.
  • edited November 2012
If you bought it at -10 bucks, would you actually get 10 bucks to your account? Could I buy it a million times?

No. And by that No to the second point too.

You can tell we're getting close to a major sale because the daily deals suck.
  • edited November 2012
Really? How can you tell? They suck half the time anyway.

    Daily Deal:

    header_292x136.jpg

£1.49 / $2.49 / €2.49. Probably worth that - it tends to get repetitive quite quickly, but it's not BAD, per se.

Actually, slightly odd thing. I wanted to see if the original SiN was on offer as well, but I can't seem to find the store page for it on Steam any more! How bizarre.
  • edited November 2012
I like that the store page lists "episodic delivery" as a feature of a now defunct franchise.
  • edited November 2012
I love how it never even got to deliver on that promise at all, since it only got the one episode.

    ...sigh...
  • edited November 2012
Wasn't the old Sin included in Episode (unless bought in Germany of course)?
  • edited November 2012
I... I'm not sure. Let me look into it.

EDIT: It was available on its own or as part of a bundle with Episodes. I don't know if buying Episodes now will get you the original game as well, but the Steam page says absolutely nothing about it.

    £7.79 / $8.99 / €8.99

Oh, and the new Family Guy game is out. For what it's worth.

Deal: Cities in Motion 75% off
There is a complete pack and most items included in the pack are 75% off as well.

Many thanks, my heretical little friend.

I forgot to mention that I'm working late all this week, so I won't be able to do the Steam stuff. Well, I'm actually home early tomorrow, but I'll probably be a bit busy with OTHER things.
  • edited November 2012
I have no idea when I will have access to a PC with internet tomorrow. We go and visit grandma.
  • edited November 2012
As the back-up's back-up, I work during these hours tomorrow. I guess the Steam deals will be posted when they're posted. :p
  • edited November 2012
Or maybe people could, I dunno, actually check Steam for once. Shock, horror, etc.

I'll post it, provided I can find a spare 45 seconds tomorrow.

EDIT: Dashing has very helpfully pointed out that the Steam Autumn Sale starts tomorrow, which explains why there's no Midweek Madness up today (in case anyone else was curious). So... I really won't have the time to update this thread!
  • edited November 2012
Hmm. Folks, if there's no update in a relative time period, you should check it out yourselves ;) Sorry, but my workplace is strict about this stuff. Too much abuse with web and cell.
  • edited November 2012
No no, I'd never ask anyone to do anything while they're at work. I've been in that situation... :(
  • edited November 2012
I can honestly say that I usually wouldn't know what the deal of the day is if not for this thread, so thank you guys for keeping it going.

That said, I usually find it easier to keep track of the larger sales by visiting the Steam website, so this works out for me anyway. Besides, I'm still tapped-out from PAX, so it's not like I'm going to be buying anything during this sale anyway...right?
  • edited November 2012
I'm probably not going to buy much during this sale, unless, by some miracle, everything I want gets down to 5 bucks or less.
  • edited November 2012
I might be able to post the deals if no one else is around to do it, but the sales usually go up around my son's bedtime, so I can't make any promises.
  • edited November 2012
I appreciate it, but given how there's gonna be loads of deals, don't worry about it.
  • edited November 2012
I am back by the way.
  • edited November 2012
As am I, so don't worry about it. Unless there's a mass break-out of spambots, I got this.
  • edited November 2012
    Okay Darthmeister.
  • edited November 2012
    Ooo, Darthmeister... I like that.

Anyway, as foretold, the Autumn sale is now upon us! And it doesn't seem really half-arsed like the Halloween one, yay. In fact, it's very similar to the Christmas sale, complete with Daily and Flash deals, which I'll list here.

    Daily Deals
Age of Empires III (Complete) - 75% off
Darksiders II - 66% off (includes DLC! Yay)
Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 - 50% off (does NOT include DLC)
    Terraria - 66% off
The Walking Dead (hey, timing!) - 50% off
    X-Com: Enemy Unknown - 33% off

    Flash Deals
Ending in 16 Hours (at time of posting):
    Intrusion 2 - 66% off
Operation Flashpoint (franchise) - 75% off
    The Amazing Spider-Man - 50% off

    Ending in 10 Hours:
    Limbo - 75% off
Payday: The Heist - 75% off
Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic II: The Sith Lords - 75% off
  • edited November 2012
As far as I can see the Magic the Gathering 2013 sale does include the DLC. I'm seeing 50-51% off on all of it.
Also, a bunch of indie games are on discount as well.

Really? Didn't when I looked, but it could well have updated. I'll defer to you on this one.

    KOTOR II for $2.49.

    Hey.

    Hey guys.

You can buy KOTOR II for two dollars and forty-nine cents.
  • edited November 2012
I was about to purchase The Walking Dead, when I remembered my fear for zombies.

You don't have to be afraid of zombies in that game. Humans are far more scary in it.

Also Hypno Toad commands you to buy KOTOR II!

  • edited November 2012
Except I don't have KOTOR. I need that one first.
  • edited November 2012
So get it! It's the same price, just not front page'd.
  • edited November 2012
Yes. 100 hours of Star Wars content for 5$. You'd be insane not to buy that.
  • edited November 2012
If you can, of course. I'm trying to buy it and Steam is just flat-out refusing to let me pay for the damn thing, not actually loading the payment page no matter how many times I try it.

I knew it'd be busy, but this is is just bullshit. If I miss out on the deal because Steam is being shit, I am going to be absolutely livid. Incandescent with rage, if you will. I might even start turning green.
